Subway in Fife

It's so disgusting I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, the waiter jumped on my table and started dancing for absolutely no reason. I was so disappointed!

Food was good enough at a fair price

Overcharged me twice in two days and my friend once, and gave me the wrong sauce. Also didn’t cut my foot long in half which made it rlly awkward to eat and wrapped in like 5 sheets of paper which is just wasteful

Theeeee nicest guy just served me twice there. He was brilliant on the first order and then when I realised I’d made a mistake with my son’s order he fixed it pronto! To the manager, the Glaswegian guy you have behind the counter is a real asset to your store.

Very friendly staff Rebecca, Fraser, Erin, Pascal and rest of the team always greets you with a great attitude and smile, my favourite food is steak and cheese. Very delicious 😋

We wanted to take a picnic lunch out on the Old Course on a Sunday. We were served promptly and the sandwich was fine. It met our needs and was what we expected. Not more or less.

Seem to value Deliveroo orders more than in person ordering. Food itself is good and worth no complaints but the service isn’t reflective of how good the food is. Get it sorted.

Place needs a refurbishment, but sandwiches are the same as all Subway's across the UK, good but 6" never enough! Over the years price's have gone up alot! Not cheap anyone.

Visited today between 11:00 and 12:00. Four customers in very small shop, none wearing face coverings. Staff did not even ask them to put them on or leave. Maybe Subway are not bothered about spreading Corona Virus or maybe they are told by senior managemnt to ignore blatant rule breakers to make more money. All four were builder type so obviously not mask exempt. Get a grip Subway and abide with all social distancing guidlines and laws.

Didn't have meatballs then when asked for a chicken pizziola forget to put marinara sauce on, bread they used wasn't cooked and had to change then when it got to cutting it they only had dirty knifes available so they quickly had to go clean it. Idk if it is just this subway but that was not a good experience and would recommend people to stay away

Who doesn't like subway? Other than my cholesterol and bank balance obviously. Pretty sure they could put pretty much anything on my sandwich and as long as it was cheese and toasted, I'd eat it!

Friendly customer service from Duncan this morning! Sometimes Subway staff just throw fillings at your sandwich, but mine was made very nicely and carefully. :)

Me and my wife, we bought some excellent sandwiches from Subway local. As we saw before at the local "brothers" from other cities, and here we appreciated the quality of products and the courtesy of the staff.

Subway supplies a demand and I suppose does so efficiently, but with all that St Andrews has on offer I would not chose to eat here unless my teenage child pushed me into it - as on this occasion. Staff were nice, however.

Instead of 4 scoops of Tuna in a foot long. We got 2 scoops. Had to ask for more and got barley a scoop more. Tight on the salads. Not impressed

As of roughly the start of May 2019 this subway has hired a couple of geezers who are ruining subs left right and centre. 3 times now and the third time I seen these dudes I knew... I shoulda walked out. Got a sub here lookin like a gutted pig for the third time. Cheers boys...

if this was our first visit to subway it would be our last. The service was terrible. Staff x 2 didn't have a clue. Of the various breads they only had 2 choices. Eventually getting served after 10 minutes ( and it wasn't really that busy) was advised no chicken available. Worst experience ever and staff weren't even interested. Subway are needing to get a grip of this venue an embarrassment to St. Andrew's. Unbelievable how a shop can run out of choices in such a short time after openinga bank holiday that they knew was on the calender

Tried the new vegan sub - I wasn't disappointed. But, what's better, staff changed their gloves without me even having to ask! Professional and considerate.

One star is still too many. Ordering in English was not easy. The taste was horrible. Maybe I'm not the age group.

Nice food, well prepared just in front of you with a large variety of components. If you want a sandwich you are in the right place. The personnel was very nice and smart. We enjoyed also their famous cookies!!!

Lovely sandwiches, nice staff. They changed gloves for making vegetarian sub without reminding or fuss. (I go there whenever I have occasion, can't resist those Veggie Patties)

Unhygienic and rude - watched a guy serve three customers, making their subs and taking their money all without changing his gloves. When another customer complained he was extremely rude to her and denied doing it. I ended up leaving and going to Rendezvous for a £3.50 foot long panini - great customer service, better prices and hygienic!

On May 12th, 2018, around 12 pm, I had an extremely bad experience with one of the employees in Subway, St. Andrews. After I had made my order, I intended to pay with a 50 pound note, because this was the only money I had in me. I did NOT notice a sign that says that they are not accepting 50 pounds notes and the cashier took the money I gave him, which made me think everything was OK. Then, suddenly he gives me 6 pounds change. On my question where is the rest of my change (40 pounds), he suddenly says that I gave him only 10 pounds and I am lying for giving him larger sum. When I requested the camera footage to prove that I gave him 50 pounds, he angrily and spitefully answered that I should not have paid with 50 pound note in the first place. Then he returned my 50 pound note and I had to pay with my card, which is now completely empty. I would have been OK with that if at the beginning he refused to accept my money, but he actually DID accept it without complaint. His extremely rude attitude afterwards and the attempt to deceive me speaks for itself. I probably will not eat there again.

Was in a rush and was passing subway ,we decided to stop for something to eat. Timed it just right as not too long to wait. First time I have tried the tuna and cheese. Loved it and what made it better for me was that it wasn’t over toasted so bread was still soft. Can’t wait to have another one. Place was nice and clean which is a bonus.

No good in you want to sit, but friendly staff and tasty food

Great quality per unit price. Recommend highly if looking for quick, easy, variable food. Italian bmt toasted with lettuce, olives, jalapeño and southwest sauce is great! Remember to claim free cookie!

He ingresado a este Subway en particular dos veces en los últimos días y las dos veces han sido muy satisfactorios. Cada vez que el personal ha sido benévolo y amistoso, en particular un buen caballero que se llamaba Luke, como decía en su etiqueta de nombre, era muy hablador y amistoso conmigo mismo y mis compañeros. Con un precio maravilloso y una opción fácil y asequible para mi selección en las elecciones de alimentos, esto fue más que perfecto.

最初はコーヒーショップでサンドウィッチを買おうと思いましたが、なんとSubwayの方が安いことを発見。他のSubwayと 比べてこれといった違いはないですが、対応はスピーディーで、立地も良く、満足でした。ただスパイシーチリソースは辛かった。。

60p to heat the sandwich up..or 10 secs in the microwave. Is it like the 'pasty tax'? Might be useful to tell people why the extra is slapped on and then they'll not think it'sthat particular outfit. On holiday and visiting St Andrews for the day decided to go to Subway for dinner. Upon entering I was told by the young girl I can't serve you for at least 10 minutes I said that was fine and would wait outside. While waiting the girl continued to clean the same spot for the 15 minutes we waited, My partner after we waited 15 minutes then entered and asked if he could order yet at which point the girl said she would 10 minutes he again said he would wait. After which the girl clearly being annoyed by the fact he would wait said "what do you want" each time my partner asked for something she would reply with a clear attitude that she did not have it. My partner proceeded to ask if she had a problem and she just scoffed. I can firmly say I will never be returning. And if they know who this girl is tell her to sort out her attitude towards customers, myself and partner were at no point rude or unpleasant and she reacted by treating us like we were wasting her time. Avoid!!!!!

My son loved getting a sub for his dinner whilst holidaying in St. Andrews. He's very fussy about what he eats but devoured his turkey and bacon subs. The place was very clean, service was fast, staff were friendly and the food was good.

It's Healthy eating can make you feel good within a week!!

Like many Subways it offers decent food with healthy and unhealthy options but unlike most Subways it is in a very nice location looking out on the street and some old buildings. If passing through St. Andrews is a nice quick stop for food.

One of the worst Subways. Constantly running out of food or closing early. Definitely below the high standards I'm used to from Subway.

Busy and small but always smells nice

As always a nice baguette. Hygienic place on the high street. Only recommendation is to maybe expand on the size of the shop as it is very small. The line was out the door but that also shows how popular it is.

Same old Subway, same as everywhere... Sandwiches are great but staff can occasionally be sulking...

We visited this restaurant around 2pm on a Wednesday and the restaurant itself was clean and tidy, staff are friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic. On the downside though, the restaurant is very small and not nearly enough seats to sit in. We ended up taking our food with us and ate it down by the harbour, as all the chairs were taken.

It is exactly what you'd expect from a Subway, but in a small restaurant. There's only about 4 seats if you're planning on eating in.

The staff are always super friendly and never fail to deliver top class subs! 9/10 would dine! Class banter from behind the counter too!

Subway is subway, quick food in the go

very small shop floor and can get quite busy but the staff that were there when I visited with my grand kids were very good getting every body served even when my lot were dithering with there selections . pleasant experience overall thank you subway .

I love Subway, normally....but the last twice I have been, it's not up to the usual standard. I had a foot long sub yesterday and the same a few weeks ago - it was all going well until the salad was 'thrown on', and then my sandwich was cut with a knife used to cut a meatball sandwich - I was left with a meatball flavour and some of the meatball sauce on my sandwich, okay so I ate it but, what if I was a vegetarian? What if I have an allergy to tomato based foods? In any case, it's not really hygienic to cut every sandwich with the same unwashed knife, is it? My remedy for future is to order a foot long and ask for it to be cut at the same time as the bread is sliced...

Exactly like the rest of the stores! Nothing extravagant. Clean store and average staff. Meal deals like the rest of the stores and same menu.

Typical Subway fayre, ideal if you want a reasonably priced fresh sandwich on the go. Bread was fresh with a choice of loaf and Subway offers a wide range of filings whether meat or vegetarian.

While Subway is pretty standard and can be found in many towns, the St. Andrews branch leaves much to be desired in terms of both variety and availability of products. The staff could also be more helpful and positive, but the real letdown is the eating space which is practically nonexistent. After being here many times I've come to the conclusion that trying to go to subway during "peak time" is not even worth trying.

I visited today with my husband both types of bread that I wanted were unavailable - Italian cheese and herb and hearty Italian , asked for honey and oat ,,, received seven grain ,, although the server was apologetic he refered to me as " mate" on six occasions I'm a middle aged woman and hardly his mate ,,, after the steak and cheese were toasted it got passed to another server who basically haphazardly put the salad in then wrapped it , when we got outside and opened it , it looked totally unappetising , I've eaten subways at other branches and they've always looked aesthetically pleasing , it tasted ok

Located in Market Street this busy outlet is in a class of its own with a choice of 6 different baguettes to choose from and an impressive array of fillings it is hard to beat on quality or price . With each request dealt with fast and efficient seems to be their motto. It is obvious the staff have had good training . They make you feel the customer is important which is lacking in so many establishments. We went in for a quick snack and were dealt with efficiently. Having visited branches in other towns we find the same level right across the chain ...Top Marks for Management and Staff
