Deliziose in Dumfries & Galloway

Called in after looking for a few places to eat,quiet here maybe location but got a seat and ordered food,decent menu and prices good,young girl served us was pleasant and helpful ,think only her and cook in ,food was nice and hot,toilets ok and service fast and efficient.would call again

Friendly atmosphere excellent customer service food quality is excellent with a variety of options and the hot chocolates are amazing

A very kind and helpful lady served and the food was simply fresh, delicious and enjoyable! This is my second visit. Exceptionally clean and well worth a visit.

My wife and I visited here on Saturday 29th May 2021 for Lunch in the glorious sunshine and sat outside. The person serving was very friendly and cheerful. I had cheeseburger and chips and my wife had a wrap with curly fries. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Please be aware only cash is accepted here.

Dunno what the negative reviews are all about called in for light lunch wife had ham salad proper ham not processed rubbish fresh salad really nice i had mushroom soup homade with a sandwich very very nice staff very nice to .Take no notice of other negative reviews try yourself .cant fault this lovely little Diner very very nice highly reccomend for lunch very clean and tidy to .

My husband and I visited Deliziose for our lunch today. We have been a few times before. We received a wonderful welcome by the owners mum. She is a wee darling. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast and I had the "today's special" which was sausage and onion baguette served with salad, coleslaw and crisps. Absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed our cappuccino and latte coffees. Deliziose has a lovely, warm friendly atmosphere. We had a wee blether and laugh with owner and her mum before we left. Delicious food at a very reasonable price and wonderful service. Will definitely be back.😀

Popped in with my other half while on my lunch hour which was ideal quick service good range of food, only downside for me was we sat near the kitchen and I felt I smelled of cooking when I left

A very busy place which is always a good sign so we called in about 2pm ! it was after lunch rush ! We thought we would have a lite bite so we went for the club sandwich ! could not believe the size of the club sandwiches ! Three slices of bread filling with chicken ! and on the side lettuce , coleslaw , onions and tomatoes! what a plate full, with a large pot of tea and very reasonably priced, we will definitely be back when we visit Dumfries.

The breakfast was very nice but didn't come with a drink like in a normal cafe so two breakfasts with coffee ended up being £18 which is extortionate. Nice food but will not be returning due to the price. Also the music was techno which was not what I wanted to listen to whilst eaten breakfast.

Wandered around Dumfries town centre looking for a bite to eat that wouldn't break the bank and stumbled across this place. Two all day breakfasts were quickly served by friendly staff, extra hot water was offered for our tea. Most items on the menu were reasonably priced but cans of cold drinks seemed a bit on the dear side. My only criticism was when I went to pay the bill - they do not accept debit/credit cards! Luckily I had some cash on me or it could have been embarrassing.

Have been here a few times and the food is very tasty and would highly recommend the omelette, cooked to profection,Staff are very helpful and friendly x

the deliziose cafe is the best we have been in for along time and we have been in many.firstly the menu is excellent from a chip butty to a sirloin steak all hot and presentation and waitress service first class .could not find a fault in this cafe must get 5 stars thank you staff keep up the good work 5 STARS .

Visited today and this place was OK, nothing wrong with it but nothing so great about it. The burger was good, the sandwich was good, the sausages, beans and chips were OK and the sausages seemed poor quality. Afterwards I had the chocolate sponge with custard. I expected it to be like chocolate cake but it was a hot chocolate sponge with a hot chocolate sauce and the custard was not the custard I know (it was very watery and also tasteless, tasted like sweetened, colored, thickened, water.) Overall it was OK. Cheap too!

Went in with my sister and mum, the waitress was the moodiest woman I have ever came across the food was cold on service even though it was paninis, the coke was flat and when asked for another the waitress huffed and puffed and asked if I wanted to watch her pour it so I can see that it came straight out of the can and when the new drink arrived there was somebody elses lipstick on the glass, never been back

Visited here on a wet and cold lunchtime and the place was almost empty.myself and a friend both ordered a toasted teacake and coffee.service was quick and polite.teacake was cold and the coffee was so hot it was undrinkable for a good 15-20 mins!i wouldn't hurry back.

Un muy frío y mojado y día con viento - que habíamos notado la noche anterior un agradable restaurante con un aspecto y fuimos para el almuerzo. El personal era muy servicial y recomendó la sopa casa hecha a medida. Fue realmente excelente - muy gruesas y calentamiento, así como los sándwiches tostados. Hicieron que la tarde soportable.

Went in to have a decent lunch with my girlfriend as I've heard good things. Took nearly ten minutes to receive a menu, then another 10 mins to come and take our order. Fairly easy order, 2 cans of juice and 2 soups. 25 minutes...

Beautifully clean, service with a smile, food plentiful , menu varied, not expensive , will I be going back? Repeatedly!

Good wee place for morning cuppa and filled roll. Plenty to choose from and staff are lovely and helpful. Also great choices for lunch or just a snack

Shockingly bad. Walked in and asked if they did gluten free- they said they only did cakes but it would take to long to defrost them so the option wasn't given to us. Didn't get the choice of white or brown baguettes, when the white baguettes came they were so hard that I didn't finish it and just ate the filling. Waitress was so uninterested, just threw the cutlery down on the table. Will not be going back.

Will not be back here. Very rude staff, really slow service with no apologies. Hair also found in food, which was average at best.

Unfortunately this cafe has gone downhill. Service is very slow and when u get your order there is usually things missing. How hard is it to get a breakfast or breakfast roll wrong? I did try going back after one bad experience as everyone can have an off day but they were just as bad next time I visited so won't be going back

The restaurant looks great. Very charming. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was very disappointing. It began with a long wait time for service. The waitress must have been having a bad day. She wasn't pleasant.We ordered the veggie burger and the fish and chips. The former was okay, the latter was among the worst we've ever had. Given our experience, we cannot recommend it.

Went there for the first time on the 15th of August. The good is fantastic, especially for the price. Lovely atmosphere and the place itself is very interesting (in a good way). The staff were attentive but left you alone to enjoy your meal. We will definitely be back.

staff are friendly and the food is top class my wife and i were in for a meal on saturday 21st december 2013 and we found the food excellent and couldnt fault the staff we regularly go in there it is our 1st choice for something to eat or drink and it is very central nothing is to much trouble.
