The best restaurants serving British food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Best soup I’ve ever had. The homemade soup here is incredible. I had the lentil and my friend had the mushroom and we both took another pot home with us! The breakfast rolls look lovely and the staff are so nice. Thanks and see you again!!

Horrible. Un menú difícil de leer - condujo a una horrible falta de empatía por parte del personal. Me hicieron sentir como si fuera mi culpa. La mujer, que al principio se negó a tomar mi pedido, y me envió dos metros a la caja donde hice un pedido simple de tostadas francesas y tostadas francesas con jarabe de bayas, etc. La comida equivocada vino - algo cubierto yo chocolate para mí - Yo no compro chocolate - Nunca pido chocolate y fue rechazado instantáneamente (y cortésmente). Su actitud era mandona - gritaba - y grosera. No podía esperarse que comiera allí después de su regaño. Basil Fawlty sigue vivo. Ya había pagado en la caja... Horrible - horrible - y el triple de horrible. Seguro que no volveremos ¡23 libras por el desagüe!

Our lunch at Table Table was lovely. Stuart was very attentive and unfailingly lovely. He went over and above to make sure our Mother’s Day lunch was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the HI before a flight out. We had no car so had to eat in this hotel restaurant. The room was fairly empty so we were seated right away. The menu was pretty extensive. The staff asked about food allergies and the chef actually came to the table to suggest appropriate dishes. Nice touch. The food was hot and fresh but not special. Adequate but not memorable. It was a bit expensive but when you are stuck at the hotel with no transport they can charge what they want. Basic but okay. The service was good though.

I have now started working across the road so I thought I'd give this cafe a try and I must say I was not disappointed. The staff are very polite and you don't have to wait too long before someone serves you. The food comes quickly and is always absolutely piping hot. The menu is varied and it is often quite difficult to know what to have. This really is a little gold mine and well worth a visit or two or, like me, nearly every day.

After learning on arrival that the restaurant we had booked for brunch only serves drinks on a Monday, we found ourselves in ViVi’s. The team were great and accommodated our needs….dog friendly and able to make adjustments on the menus to need coeliac / gluten free needs - I would note this could be improved by actually highlighting on the main menu rather than having to ask. Either way the food was delicious….i highly recommend the French Toast with bacon and fig! All others were equally pleased with their food and the pup certainly enjoyed her very own pup cup.

I was very disappointed with my lunch. I had a seniors macaroni and chips. The macaroni was just covered with melted cheese as opposed to being in a cheese sauce. Then i had caramel apple betty which was o k but the ice cream was watery and tasteless. Not value for money.

Staff were friendly which is why it is not 1 star. Lunch menu - 2 courses for approx £14 sounds reasonable value - decent portion size but the food was really poor. Both had “buttermilk” chicken goujons - frozen and bland. I had fish and chips - again frozen and the fish was watery - crinkle cut frozen chips. My wife had steak pie and nearly broke a tooth on a Brussel sprout. Table was rickety and decor somewhat outdated. Would not return or recommend - sorry

Staff not great need a bit of training.

Fuimos aquí numerosas veces durante nuestra estancia de 2 noches en Glasgow. Cada vez que encontramos una mesa relativamente rápido, el servicio de mesa era eficiente (con un ligero retraso en la comida en tiempos más ocupados, pero eso es de esperar) , la disponibilidad del menú era grande y la comida era de estándar típico Wetherspoons. El personal aquí no se detiene, y claramente trabajan duro para mantener el lugar funcionando sin problemas. La ubicación está en un lugar conveniente desde el Premier Inn en la calle Enochs, con el paseo de solo un par de minutos. Muy recomendable

Come here often for family meals

No hay WiFi disponible. No exactamente del siglo XXI. De lo contrario ok; hace lo que dice en la lata, como se espera de Wetherspoons.

Mi pareja y yo hemos estado aquí varias veces. Pero hoy, después de esperar a recibir el desayuno Monty completo, nos fuimos decepcionados. La comida estaba demasiado cocinada y el capuchino era tibio. Nosotros no volveremos. Ha ido directamente cuesta abajo pasando por algunas otras críticas sobre este lugar.

Wouldn't recommend anyone eat here. The food really lets the hotel down. The menu is so limited with a poor choice of tasteless fast food. Surely they can do better than this!

Delicious great value food. Quick Nd freshly made. Nicest staff. I have been having my lunch here for a decade and I can't recommend it highly enough
