Best soup I’ve ever had. The homemade soup here is incredible. I had the lentil and my friend had the mushroom and we both took another pot home with us! The breakfast rolls look lovely and the staff are so nice. Thanks and see you again!!

Went here earlier today and this is by far the best cafe I’ve been to. The staff were so lovely and the food was incredible. The panini was delicious and the bacon roll had no fat whatsoever. I placed a big order and even though there was only 2 people on shift working, they got my order done in less than 10 minutes. One of the women apologised for the wait but honestly it was worth it

Precinct Cafe , Baljaffray, Bearsden Bought a take way roll with link sausage for £2.50 I got one and a half links - very mean Come on it should be at least 2 sausages Won’t be back!

I arrived with a friend to have a late lunch to discover closed sign however a member of staff came to door and asked if we wanted coffee or lunch so we replied and she invited us in. We had lovely homemade soup, two different types and both lovely, and a sandwich. Bread was very fresh and we both enjoyed our lunch. We finished with tea and the staff member said to us not to rush and stay as long as we wanted to have a good chat. This was much appreciated as we both live alone and with the current Covid regulations we cannot have any visitors at our home. Such understanding and consideration despite the staff not knowing our personal circumstances was very much appreciated. Excellent service all round and I would most certainly return.

The macaroni cheese was not even fit for the dog. He wouldn’t eat it. It was just lumpy mush. Shame as was looking forward to it.

What a find! Quite simply had the best lunch amazing food! Sat outside – and very reasonably priced. Staff cannot be more helpful, I even took away some of their delicious cake. An amazing find for me and we will definitely be going back again. Overall the food, service and cleanliness were great.

Popped in today and picked up a couple of coffees, rolls and juice. Coffee was good and the bacon and egg rolls were great with no fat on the baconFriendly staff at the counter who were keen to provide a good service.It was our first time into the cafe for a while and will be back.Cafe was clean and seemed to have a number of regular clients within which is good for a local business.

Bought take away macaroni cheese & chips today cost me £4.95 and had to bin most of it. Macaroni was tasteless !!! Dont like leaving bad reviews but businesses should not be getting away with this. A frozen Aldi M&C at 89p tastes much better.

All homemade food - delicious soup, rolls and home baking. Really friendly staff too. Such a nice, local cafe!

Pleasant place with pleasant staff and good value food and coffee. Not the most salubrious location but handy if you live in Baljaffray.

Haven't been in for a wee while but its a nice, clean, friendly wee local restaurant where you can sit and enjoy a nice bacon roll, coffee and a read of your paper. Staff are very friendly and great wee spot for breakast

Went in once waited to be searved .waited and waited and waited and went ..must have waited well.over 5 minutes and were totally ignored ..not good at all

Teníamos erica y el personal hacen un buffet para el 60º cumpleaños. Toda la comida era estupenda en el lugar recién llegado bien presentada y montones y montones de. No decir que sobre Erica. Todo el mundo dice qué bueno el buffet era. Recomendaría sin dudarlo

A relaxed and enjoyably experience , feels like coming home, and the too often used term " they know your face " really fits. A pleasure .

Was working about here in November and it was cold and wet so bought soup and a burger from here a couple of times. Nice staff and good value food, would recommend!

I was in a rush and popped in for a takeaway breakfast. Also bought some salad rolls since I was going out for the day. Friendly staff and the rolls were great.

Hemos estado en esta cafetería unas cuantas veces, y lo he recomendado por un abundante desayuno durante todo el día, sopa casera y bollos rellenos. Todo está hecho y muy fresco. Los propietarios y el personal son siempre muy acogedores. Sillas altas y libros para colorear para los niños, así como un menú para niños. Hay sitios para cambiar a los bebés. El café también es accesible para sillas de ruedas.

Esta es una pequeña y acogedora cafetería Baljaffray Precinct. Está un poco alejado de todo. Es cálido y acogedor, y el personal está siempre dispuesto a reconocer y son muy amables. Mi marido y yo disfrutamos de un desayuno durante todo el día varias veces y rara vez ir a ningún otro sitio cuando estamos da pereza hacer nuestro propio. El tocino es de buena calidad, como el black pudding. El huevo será cocinado a tu gusto y la comida está acompañada de muchas tostadas rositas. También me gusta que te dan tu café en una taza!, ... un día me llevé a mis dos hijas aquejadas más tarde en el día. Cuando llegamos el propietario estaba en el medio de bloqueo, sin embargo al ver mis chicas nos decepcionó cara, ella en seguida nos invitó a entrar, puso la plancha etc. volver y era más que dispuestos a hacer lo que queríamos. ... por encima y más allá :)

Popped in a couple of times for a late lunch/quick bite. We had hot filled rolls. Friendly, quick service. Nice selection of cake.Very clean & good prices. Have recommended to friends locally.

I have been a customer of this cafe for several years now, both with the previous owners and the new owners. I am also a retired Hotelier who has vast experience of Tripadvisor. Some people use it to praise and some use it to offer constructive criticism if an establishment has fallen short on something. However sadly a minority of people use it to vent vicious attacks on hard working people.It would appear from previous comments that one person has had a bad experience in her opinion and not just put one review on but several which distorts the overall rating of the establishment.All I can say is that well educated people reading the reviews of the cafe can read between the lines and make their own decision.For me the cafe is a wonderful place to have a meal or snack and the new owners have redecorated, improved the menu and as displayed a recent environmental health certificate proves that all is well in the kitchen.So folks don't give this place a wide berth, give it a try and make your own mind up. I am sure you will be delighted. It's great!!

I visited this cafe for lunch and ordered the homemade soup. It was delicious and obviously homemade. The staff are very friendly and gave my daughter colouring books to amuse her.The coffee is very good and I had homemade macaroon with it. It was so good that I took bars home for my husband! Will definitely return the next time I am in Baljaffray. Whilst writing this review I read the previous comments and cannot believe them. This cafe is a wee jem.

The staff are rude, food all microwaved that's all your hear in this cafe is ping. Thier eggs are black, nothing is homemade would never return.

I live in Dublin and anytime I'm home I bring my niece to this café as a after school treat, but since they refused her little sister entrance to use the bathroom causing her distress there is no way Id ever go back. I shall make the journey to the cross where the cakes and welcome are far nicer!!

I haven't been a customer of this establishment, however I know for a fine fact I never will be a customer. The reason for this is simple. A mother, while passing buy popped in to ask if her 2 year old child could use the toilet. The mother was flatly refused on the basis that she and her daughter were not customers. Sadly at 2 years old this child did not have the bladder control to make it any further than outside this cafe.SHAME!!!

Fortunately haven't eaten in since changed owners but my 2 year old wasn't allowed to use toilet today when passing outside and promptly wet herself on the doorstep of cafe. Will never darken door of this place as the new lady owner was extremely rude and very cruel.

Having visited the cafe I was appalled to witness the staff refusing to let a 3 year old child use the toilet, the poor wee thing then had an accident out in the street. Lack of empathy for their customers will ensure I NEVER visit again and will urge all my friends and family both in Bearsden and Killearn/Balfron to do the same.

I had a breakfast in this place and the bacon was disgusting it was full of soft fat and brown grease and the eggs were undercooked, the toast was hot bread, not toasted. I tried to clean it off with napkins (which I left on the plate for them to see). I thought from hygiene regulations and cookery shows that all grills etc. had to be cleaned on a daily basis. I was first customer so no excuse. So what happens in here? This needs to be addressed as apart from this the coffee and other items were fine. Please sort this now as I have pictures to show of the above and I want to give a new business a chance.

Since my last review on 30 May 2013 this cafe changed hands in October. Same layout and set up; new operators trying hard and offerings are OK - coffee still good. Handy for Lidl and if you need a toilet!

Welcoming friendly atmosphere and very generous helpings of food served but father and son team with grannie around to supervise. Well worth a visit...and a chocolate with your latte!

Almost hidden in the corner of Baljaffrey Shopping Centre next to Lidl and next to a hairdressers at the end of the main row of shops this cafe is well worth a visit for a snack, lunch or even an excellent coffee. The people running it are very friendly and most items are freshly made to order. Closes mid/late afternoon every day and is currently open on Sundays.Excellent value.

I've visited this cafe several times and always find the staff helpful and attentive. The service is excellent as is the food and the portions are ample to say the least. I love their coffee! The place is freshly decorated, clean and tidy and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I'll be back!

Precinct 11 is tucked away in a small out of town shopping centre . It's a friendly and comfortable place serving very good home made soups, snacks and more substantial meals too. The food is freshly prepared, well presented and of good quality. It's ideal for a quick lunch or just coffee and cakes. They do take out as well.
