Very friendly staff we went upstairs for food very clean and atmosphere good

Supposed to open at 8 but even at 8:20 they had only just opened the front door and the only place you could get to was the “top bar” up some stairs. Not good if you want to sit in for some breakfast. Drove all the way here with a time limit so now need to go without food.

Typical Weatherspoons. Good value and fast service. It is what it is.

Good wee dinner. Had the Heatwave burger. Was really nice.

Very accessible, busy,food good only issue was the hot water machine for tea and to heat baby bottles. I had to go upstairs and get however the hot water which was fine but in an uncovered jug.

Me and my better half love it here .we go all the time . Foods great and brilliant service.

Enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. Lovely staff. Was particularly chilly and it's a big venue so had to keep my coat on. Typical good value. 🙏🏻

It's been a long time since I last ate in here but my daughter and I nipped in a week ago for a spot of lunch and really enjoyed the meal. Felt it was really good value.

I avoided the Carrickstone for years as the quality of food was so poor, however returninh about 6 months ago I'be been pleasantly surprised by how much it has improved. Decent pub grub served by a pleasant, young staff team

Fish and chips spot on. Very busy but staff working hard to keep tables cleared. And for the first time ever in a Wetherspoons we were asked twice if our meal was ok! Special shout out for Kirsty and a young man (sorry didn't get his name) who was working along side. Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Unlimited coffee for just over a £1 happy days

Marcus is brilliant! I have worked in hospitality for 20 years and can tell straightaway he will be leading a team if he isnt already! Moves at pace and is very attentive to customer and the workplace needs. Emily was fab too!

The food was good. The haddock and chips were spot on. Service from Alex was first class. Having been in several Wetherspoons up and down the country, this is by far the oddest. The service was, as I said, first class, but the outside area and the staircase did not have the lavishness of other Wetherspoons. The bull we found out was there because the Carrick Stone which has a lot of historical worth is situated near to a farm, hence a bull. Not sure if the local chap who told us that was pulling my leg or not.

Up stairs is full of flies absolutely disgusting trying to eat and having to constantly wave away flies

Food is OK but the place is full of flys could do with u good deep clean and not have plate pilled up at the side of the bar

Food was good service was also good but the place needs fly spray trying to get your food while dodging flys not goood at all would recommend bring fly spray

Spoons is spoons nothing more to say really except I did have to send a supposedly clean cup back as it had coffee stains around the rim and if my mrs seen it I would have had to find breakfast somewhere else

Good choice of real ales. Nicely laid out and clean and tidy

We both just popped in for a soft drink and some lunch. We saw that u could get a bite to eat and a soft drink included with the meal. My husband had the macaroni and chips, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the chicken fillets on a burger with chips. The food was lovely and at such a great price we will be back again. Well worth it 👌

Staff and service were great, but beejeesus has the quality of Wetherspoons food gone downhill! Not just this branch but everywhere. I remember when a burger used to come with onion rings on top, real cheese, and lots of flavour. Coleslaw and plenty of chips as standard. Now it's a bare burger and salad and coleslaw have to be ordered separately. Least satisfying pub meal, I'll be sticking to Belhaven bars from now on!

I know it’s easy to bash Wetherspoons but honestly it’s cheap and cheerful. £11 for 2 mains and a drink for my daughter and I you really can’t say anything bad about it. It’s actually cheaper than buying and cooking for yourself.

Jaipur (and all other ales) very cheap at £1.99 a pint. Zero atmosphere, staff seemed uninterested and a feeling of gloom persists throughout. Didn't eat there, just had a pint on a couple of weeknights. I've been to many, many better 'Spoons and I'm generally a fan but this place sapped my soul.

Service bit slow got order wrong but eventually got what wee ordered

We both have visited these premises on a number of occasions over the years and can honestly say we have very little complaints, the premises appear to be clean, the staff are helpful and attentive, the parking is free these days.

Great place in Cumbernauld that i use for breakfast. Good scottish breakfast. Loads of other food to select frim aswell. Place fills up quickly. So if you want a seat get there early. And even better if you have the App to order food and drink.

Well laid out over 2 floors, own entrance on both levels. Food was very good and quickly arrived at the table after I ordered.

Breakfast roll. Reheated rubbish. Bar staff fine, early in the morning so nice and peaceful

Came in as a group of 15 people and Stuart done everything to accommodate us to ensure we were all sat together. He was so friendly and nothing was a hassle for him. Thanks again for the great service!

Great food and lovely staff, very good prices for a lunchtime meal, All day breakfast and a coffee for £5! Can't go wrong :) restaurant was a little dark but overall a good and very pleasant visit!

Usual standard expected of Witherspoon's. Large pub over two floors with loads of free parking.

Cannot fault this place. You know what you're getting, they do it well and they do it consistently. I think the portions could be a wee bit bigger but for the price the quality is there. Easily gets me back in the door regularly. Cracking pizza and a really good choice of cheap beers. App is a breeze to use and customization options are excellent.

Order for 6 people, kids meal came out very dry like its been over heated. The spaghetti here in the pic was how it was served. Now do you think a child will eat this nope. What a waste of money. The staff at the bar was very rude when I asked a question about how the drinks can be served. Was even more shocked when she confirmed she was the manger. Looks like power went to her head thinking she can talk to customer like they are nothing. It is a nice place but upstairs could use a little music not a DJ but some lite music.

Nothing fancy, you could drop in after work for a quick bite,good pub grub quick service and cheap,drinks too.

Extremely busy for a Wednesday night, upstairs it's difficult to find a table

Was there yesterday afternoon and ordered a small plate of fish and chips the fish I received was like the side of a small fish halved in two it was tiny not that much bigger than a fish finger . If I'd not been in a hurry I would have sent it back also you usually get asked from the server if you're enjoying your meal and nobody came back to us . Disappointed

Attended for an adhoc breakfast ,unfortunately no photos ,service was impeccable, food was incredible, I was sceptical about the coffee but was not disappointed, anyone who wants a cheap breakfast get up get dressed and get there mmmmmmm.

Out of all the weatherspoons I’ve visited recently, Carrick stone take a bow. Fast, polite service. Food was great also. Complements to the chef. Highly recommended.
