Cafe Su in Renfrewshire

I have now started working across the road so I thought I'd give this cafe a try and I must say I was not disappointed. The staff are very polite and you don't have to wait too long before someone serves you. The food comes quickly and is always absolutely piping hot. The menu is varied and it is often quite difficult to know what to have. This really is a little gold mine and well worth a visit or two or, like me, nearly every day.

A very strange waitress served us, we had traveled from Belfast and we were hungry. All of us wanted the big breakfast but had to order seperately even though i said the bill was all together. the teas came in big mugs that were practicaly thrown at us, the breakfasts came on cold plates and were far from being a big breakfast. The fried egg was running of the plate and the bread was very greasey. we asked for some sauce and were told we should have asked when ordering, but did get it ok.the waitress came back asking if we wanted the bill, we did because we were afraid to order anything else. None of my party will be back at the Cafe Su.

I went in today for some lunch with my mum and sister and have to say we were appalled at the attitude of one of the waitresses. My mum had gone in before us and stood at the door waiting to be seated. She tried to get the attention of one of the ladies who work there but couldn't so she sat down at the first table. My sister and I then came in and we all looked at the menu. A good 15 minutes passed without anyone taking our order. Then, one of the waitresses went to the table behind us and asked to take her order. This lady came in ten minutes after us so my sister pointed this out. Next thing, this waitress came over to our table with her face tripping her. She said, you're not supposed to sit at a table without being shown to one. My mum pointed out she'd stood at the door for several minutes, trying to get her attention but couldn't. Next thing, she's saying it's because the were so busy, which is fair enough but she had such a bad attitude and was getting more annoyed with us. We pointed out though that all it would've taken was for someone to explain that instead of being rude. She then said, I'll get someone else to serve you, stormed off to the back and slammed a door! I've never known anything like it! Another waitress came over and apologised on her behalf which was nice of her but it should've been the rude lady apologising. This lady and the young girl, who is an absolute joy and a ray and of sunshine, were so lovely. A couple who had been sitting at another table, were leaving as we were complaining to the nice waitress, and the lady gave us a thumbs up. She'd obviously heard us complain and probably had been given the same rude treatment we'd had. After lunch, I went up to pay and it was the rude waitress at the till. I handed her the money and politely told her it was the right money and she never said one word to me. No sorry, no thank you, nothing. Also, the last time we were in this cafe I'd asked if my toasty should've came with coleslaw and she just snapped, yes, then brought me some. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that day but that's obviously what she's like. I eat out a lot and I've never encountered such appalling customer service from anywhere else. How dare she speak to people like that? If she can't deal with the public in a friendly and polite manner, she should not be working there. I won't describe this female as I don't think that's a fair thing to do. However, I hope the owner of the cafe reads this and realises who it is, perhaps through previous complaints. This lady will lose custom for this otherwise brilliant wee cafe. We loved it when we first started going in, as the food is lovely, the other two waitresses are gems but I'll never go back. A real shame.

Decent little cafe for brekkie. Stopped here for a breakfast, staff are helpful and friendly. Nice well presented little cafe and food was great. Worth a visit!

As a female who suffer with chronic asthma, i was greeted with a male employee who was aggressive towards myself toward not wearing a face mask and threatened me that if i was going to come back i must wear a mask as he stayed “i don’t want you infecting us”. i felt so very sad and vulnerable at his behaviour. The girls have always been so nice and welcoming any time i have been in knee the last decade but can truly say to this man, and i use the term man very loosely, i will not be back as he has truly made me feel so upset.

Our local cafe. Nothing fancy just friendly staff, good service, great tea, great breakfast 👍. Plenty of social distancing.

Google says cafe closed at 4.30 went today at 2.30 and it was closing. Been a few times, gave them benefit of the doubt and went back after they were sweeping round my feet at 3.30 waiting to close, made us feel like we should go even though it was an hour before closing. Such a shame food fine but you're always made feel you should hurry up and get out. Will not be back as you never know if they'll be opened or not.

Great place with fresh cooked food from an extensive menu and terrific helpful and pleasant staff. Clearly pay a lot of attention to getting it right and the ambience is really good. Spotlessly clean

Just recently moved to Renfrew and popped in here just for a coffee. They have quite an extensive cafe menu from breakfasts onwards. Coffee was good and at £2 for a small mug it was good value and we would be back. Only negative is the stains on the window seats...need to be regularly shampood or replaced with a wipeable covering.

Dropped in to Cafe Su when in Renfrew. We had a few breakfast rolls and tea. Service was friendly and efficient and the food cooked freshly on demand. On a cold day I can guarantee this is the place to go in Renfrew.

Staff friendly and helpful. Food basic but tasty, nice coffee can usually get parking space nearby for up to an hour. Couple of local card and gift shops nearby.

Hot soup is homemade is beautiful Place is clean Staff are helpful and willing to help less able customers

Boring Food, Staff & An Overall score of Boring, Bland ..Poor!!! Had a few simple things that just weren't right. Was better as The Coffee Bean...
