The soups are all home made and to die for. Backed potatoes are great with skin only complain is stronger cheese is needed ro give it flavour.

Vino a desayunar. Café estaba ocupado, pero fuimos recibidos cálidamente por un joven y se le mostró a nuestra mesa, que frotó por nosotros. Servicio rápido y desayuno sabroso. Tuvimos el desayuno a la habitación donde probamos el haggis, salmón, arenques, avena, muesli, huevos, tocino, croissants y pasteles. Todos eran una excepción en la presentación y el sabor. Me vienen aquí sólo para el desayuno, si pudiera. Me sorprendió la calidad de la comida saliendo de la residencia.

Absolutely amazing evening. They gave us the best dining experience we have ever had. From start to finish everything was amazing. We were lucky enough to have the place booked to ourselves meaning the most fantastic service. Very active while giving us space. A detailed explanation of the food and the wine pairing was perfect. Food was perfect, wine pairing perfect and service was the best we have ever had.

Definitely one of the best pubs in Edinburgh. We had good beers and ate tasty food. A must try for everyone. Also the service have been perfect.

Great place for diner. Very friendly people, very good food. Had the Haggis and that was very good. Ideal if you want to try haggis.

Old time classics - absolutely love coming back to this place, which never disappoints. Staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable whether it's food or wines. Try throwing in a French word here and then - they'll play along. Genuine cooking bursting with flavours. Don't be afraid to try some of the daily specials. Last time we tried leek salad - which had herbs and leek grown at their own garden - which made for an amazing starter full of flavour yet very light. Personally, I love the snails and then beef tartar which is prepared at the table and to your liking.

We spontaneously stopped in for coffee. The cake was delicious—especially the carrot cake. Many thanks also to Jana for the friendly service and the great dining tips. We'd love to come back! :)

My second visit here and it was wonderful yet again. The venue, the service and the afternoon tea are all exceptional. Would recommend!

¡Qué maravilloso café! Asegúrate de probar el pastel de cereza Bakewell. Lo mejor que hemos tenido por un kilómetro. El café era muy bueno y realmente disfrutamos de nuestra visita.
