Tuvimos el desayuno a la habitación donde probamos el haggis, salmón, arenques, avena, muesli, huevos, tocino, croissants y pasteles. Todos eran una excepción en la presentación y el sabor. Me vienen aquí sólo para el desayuno, si pudiera. Me sorprendió la calidad de la comida saliendo de la residencia.

Disfrutamos de una preciosa tarde de té en un entorno tranquilo y hermoso. Comida excelente, con un personal atento.

La comida es esencialmente el servicio de habitación, pero tiene una buena variedad y muy sabroso. El desayuno era saludable y de alta calidad. Muy contento

El desayuno se sirve en la habitación y una selección de comidas están disponibles a través del servicio de habitación. No hay restaurante como tal, aunque té de la tarde se sirve en el salón. Nosotros lo hicimos y que bien vale la pena - aunque no tan bien como Gleneagles! Los precios son estándar para este nivel de hotel y supongo que la mayoría de la gente está feliz de probar todos los restaurantes fabulosos que están disponibles dentro de una corta distancia a pie. El servicio de habitación es genial después de un largo día cuando lo que quieres hacer es relajarse y ser servido algo sabroso y sencillo en la comodidad de su habitación. Porque no hay realmente un restaurante aquí, las preguntas estándar mostrados no aplica realmente - pero no hay instalaciones para dejarlo en blanco. Si te alojas en el hotel, es bueno saber que se puede conseguir comida entregado en su habitación, si se ha tenido un día ajetreado de turismo y la verdad es que te sientes como arrastrando salir de nuevo!

El hotel es muy cómodo y perfectamente hecho ... como se indicará en otro comentario ... pero el desayuno también es bueno ... lo suficientemente bueno para sobrevivir medio día! . La sabrosa y exactamente lo que un desayuno debería haber .. probamos los bollos aquí.

Absolutely stunning, most beautiful apartment !!! Shame we are only here for 1 night, but this apartment is absolutely gorgeous. The furnishings, fittings, high ceilings, chandeliers, beautiful bed, gorgeous bathroom - just everything is stunning AND to top it off, fabulous central location, walk to everything.

I had a great time with friends having High Tea at the Edinburgh Residence. This was served in a drawing room with a view overlooking Dean Village which is beautiful. The food was lovely and very good value for money - I'd recommend as a great way to spend an afternoon doing something different!

We had afternoon tea here and it was nice.The hotel is old fashioned and a little quirky. What can I say Afternoon Tea is Afternoon Tea, I've had better and I've had worse, The food selection was average the service was a little slow, Nothing special although the scones were delicious and so was the jam

My friends and I were looking for somewhere to have afternoon tea as a treat to celebrate an occasion. The Edinburgh Residence seemed like a good place to try. On arrival we were greeted warmly and taken through to our table. There were 8 of us in our group, but this was not an issue and a table had been provided to seat us together. The staff were fantastic - very friendly, professional and attentive. The teas / coffees and food arrived quickly and were beautifully presented. The selection and quantity of sandwiches and cakes was just right for our group and looked fresh and tasted great. The scones in particular were wonderful (and we all got two each!). Everyone left feeling happy and full!

We arrived at the Edinburgh Residence for a Pimm's Afternoon Tea for two which was just delightful. The serve was excellent, the food was amazing. The tea consisted of an abundance of Egg, Salmon and Roast Beef sandwiches which were stuffed full. The thickness and taste of the beef was beautiful The scones were so fresh and the selection of mini cakes were so nice. We were sat in the drawing room with a beautiful view out the window. Definately worth every penny. I will be back!!

The food and service in this very small hotel restaurant are excellent. You can take over this room with 10 people and bringing your own party would create the perfect atmosphere. The food and wine selection are gorgeous and though not cheap, are good value for the quality, presentation and intelligence. A high quality eatery.
