The Ginger Coo Cafe in Edinburgh, City of

Vino a desayunar. Café estaba ocupado, pero fuimos recibidos cálidamente por un joven y se le mostró a nuestra mesa, que frotó por nosotros. Servicio rápido y desayuno sabroso. Preciosos baños limpios. Lo que también me encantó, fue que reconoció a todo el mundo tan pronto como entraron por la puerta, ya sea sentándolos o saludándolos, estaré contigo. Odio cuando no me reconocen cuando entro en un café y hay ese momento incómodo de voluntad que me siento, ¿voy a esperar! Gran servicio

Tomamos una copa anoche en Dirty Dicks y cronometró el Ginger Coo y nos gustó su aspecto así que fuimos allí a desayunar y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. Mi esposa tomó tostadas francesas con plátanos y yo tomé un gran desayuno cocinado. El café era genial también y el servicio era rápido y atento. La selección de horneado fue impresionante, pero no teníamos espacio para eso.

Nos gustó el aspecto de la cafetería, estaba muy limpio y el personal muy acogedor. Teníamos las patatas de chaqueta con frijoles y estaba excelente y muy sabroso, una de las mejores patatas que hemos comido.

Gran pequeño lugar con un tema de vaca peculiar, personal muy servicial y amable. Desayunamos aquí en un viaje familiar reciente, 4 de nosotros sin quejas, la comida estaba excelentemente preparada y sabrosa!

Pedí el salmón asado con espárragos, champiñones, puré de papas y ensalada. La comida era deliciosa. También tomé un trago de whisky de la Isla de Skye que también estaba bueno. También tenían una amplia gama de postres. Si bien no pedí uno, muchos otros clientes lo hicieron. El precio era razonable. Me encantó la ubicación en Charlotte Street que tiene solo tráfico peatonal. ¡Oh y es dog friendly!

Buscando comida en Rose Street nos encontramos con el café ginger coo parecía ocupado por lo general una buena señal logró conseguir una mesa, el personal muy amable, un montón de opciones en el menú pidió un Croque Madame y socio pidió un Croissnt, la comida apareció en poco tiempo y era absolutamente delicioso comió mucho y solo podía decir que era realmente sabroso, por desgracia no tenía tiempo para pastel, pero voy a hacer una visita de regreso la próxima vez que esté en Edimburgo.

Great place for breakfast! Wide selection on the menu, delicious food and smoothies, and a friendly proprietor. We’ll be coming back for sure.

Cafes located in a prime tourist area usually have a reputation for overcharging and poor quality food. I'm glad to say this is not one of them. We wanted food with a Scottish flavour, and ordered the pancake stack and a full vegetarian Scottish breakfast. The star was the pancake stack, which came layered with a tattie scone and thinly sliced haggis, cooked to a crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. While the price for the meal was not cheap - about 34 pounds for two including two massive cups of cappuccino - the serving was large and we were so satisfied that didn't need lunch. Service was impeccable too - we got a warm welcome the moment we entered, and the staff preempted our needs by providing extra helpings of maple syrup and butter. If you're near Princes Street and you want a Scottish meal to remember, this is a good place to visit.

The plates are generously sized and the food is really good. There’s a wide range of vegetarian options and they serve breakfast all day. The atmosphere is cute and comfortable with friendly table service. It’s not on a path with major foot traffic so isn’t so busy, but it should be.

Lovely place stopped in twice for breakfast lots of pastries to choose from. Very nice staff hope to return soon. Would try more of the breakfast options

This is a busy little cafe which does good breakfast, lunch and tea. Lovely fresh cakes. All freshly cooked food. Prices reasonable. Staff friendly. Everything very clean.
