A distinctive and aristocratic place, very suitable for those who love an elegant atmosphere

We visited here for dinner on Thursday evening. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The starters of pork cheek and scallops were excellent. Followed by venison and halibut which again exceeded our expectations. Sticky toffee pudding and crème brulé to finish both of which were also excellent. We will be visiting again soon. Thanks to the staff for a great evening

El pollo fue sustituido por la codorniz que nunca antes habíamos probado y fue increíble. Cada plato fue presentado maravillosamente y cocinado a la perfección. Todo el personal era increíble y tuvimos la mejor experiencia. Sin duda volveremos.

Had battered sausage and chips. I think the battered sausages had been sat under a heat lamp for days and the chips were soggy and awful. Overpriced as well. I won't return.

Lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff. Like a wee home from home. Great food, I recommend the burger with caramelised onions on a brioche roll. Log burner in winter makes it cosy.

I was staying at the Golden Jubilee for work and walked here because it was close. I ate here 2 nights, tried the steak pie and the chili. Both hit the spot on a good wet night. It does have seating beyond the bar. The kitchen puts in more care into the dishes and I found everything to the sticky toffee pudding delicious.

Food was very good & reasonable. Good service we will be back.

A really great experience that you should have as an SMWS member! Excellent, unique whiskeys in a special atmosphere are definitely worth a trip when you are in Edinburgh. And we didn't expect the food to be so good either - a clear recommendation even for people who aren't absolute whiskey fans!

Customer service was excellent Stella and Carra were extremely helpful will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

This place is simply unreal. As chip shops go, nothing comes as close to the freshness and service I received today. Left with a smile on my face!

We checked out the reviews for restraunts near where we were staying and The Inn at Kippen came up. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic! Best meal I've had in a long while. I had duck breast and my wife had the blade of beef. Both meals were delicious. The menu had plenty of choices on it including steaks so this gives me an excuse to return. The server was also polite and helpful. We will definitely be back !
