What an amazing experience. The service was friendly and personable. The food was absolutely fantastic - every course complimented the last. The wine pairings were fantastic, great choices from the sommelier. The location is absolutely stunning with views of the true Scottish coast. An absolute must visit.

One of the finest meals the wife and I have ever had. The tasting menu was incredible from start to finish. Service was great, bathrooms spotless, restaurant clean. Top tier in every way.

Lovely restaurant in a pretty village. The mothers day fixed menu was great value. Fa tasting smoked mackerel and roast dinner although e beef was a little tough. The staff were so friendly and really attentive. A lovely way to spend a Sunday lunchtime.

Hemos visitado en varias ocasiones durante los 2 años pasados y siempre recibimos excepcional estándar de servicio y excelente comida de degustación, algo que parece ser difícil de encontrar en muchas diners, lo que le pregunto por qué estas otras empresas están todavía en negocios. Nunca hemos tenido algo más que de las comidas excepcionales en una gran relación calidad-precio, es una pena que no viven más cerca. The best place to eat for a homey food, please come to this place you wont be disappointed. I came here with my boyfriend yesterday for our first trip to the beach in Prestwick. The lady who handled us with short hair and glasses was so nice, she’s so heartwarming and very welcoming overall. The price is really affordable in my opinion. We had a three courses meal for £11 which includes Starter, Main, and Dessert. The food is really amazing! I came to Scotland last year September and I’d say this is definitely in my top 3 or even the best food I’ve ever had. My favorite one is the Steakpie from the main menu and my bf’s favorite is the soup and mac n cheese. The food is incredible so it’s all worth it. The lady who serve us made our trip memorable. I had a really great time here and I promise the food is really lovely!!!

We were back in Helensburgh after a 2 year gap and had to return to The Upper Crust, believing it couldn't be as good and fun as last time. We were not disappointed at all and had a great evening along with the other diners. It is quirky and different, and the food is excellent with a good choice on the menu and specials board. The owners, Roger and Mary run it themselves, with Mary in the kitchen and Roger front of house. Roger is so entertaining and the whole experience is more than just a meal. We are normally private people, just wanting to enjoy our own company, but have never been anywhere else where you relax so easily and end up talking with fellow diners - all down to Roger and his manner. None of us there that night wanted to leave, and we all stayed far longer than expected - again, all down to Roger and his great company. It was one of the best nights we've had in a long time and we'll be back as soon as we can! Thank you Roger and Mary

My favourite place in Lerwick for coffee and a sweet. If you're here in Shetland, you MUST stop by and enjoy the friendly service, wonderful variety of things from Puffin Poo to ice cream. If I could, I would stop by more than I already do! From a member of the IL Coffee Club! 😁

Been to the restaurant a few times and the food is always great. Staff are attentive and is reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

usually loved going to the mosset but as off Saturday the 17th of May i wont be back, had a catchup with my mates after not seeing them in a long time thought we would go to this establishment for a few drinks, had two before we were accused of taking drugs in the bathroom toilets. (bare in mind we were there for two hours and went to the bathroom twice). me and my mates aren’t the type to take drugs and certainly never that night and felt discriminated against for this, we even offered to show our pockets and without any chance to defend ourselves we got told we are cut off and to leave immediately…. will not be back.
