Hair in my fried rice, a long blond one. Never again, the whole dinner was ruined . Drove from cushendun to cushendall for it, awful! What a waste of £30, none of us could eat our dinner after the hair

Lovely place but the young staff would need to read the menu so they can answer a question and also they don't seem as if they really want to be ther no personally, other than that the food was just Ok for us,, but tha American couple beside us said it was the worst place they have ate in ,,,

I haven’t stayed in an Ibis for years so was pleasantly surprised with this venue. We picked this place because it’s dog friendly. It’s on a retail park so there are a few shops near by and plenty of parking outside On arrival we were greeted by very friendly, polite staff and I found that all the staff I interacted with were the same. I was very impressed with the room, on entering my first thought was ‘stylish’. We spent the evening in the bar, you can bring the dog in but you have to sit in a specific area. Again the staff were polite and friendly. We had breakfast included in our booking so the next morning we went into the bar where it’s served. Once again we were greeted by polite and friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Overall a nice stay and a good sleep.

The pros and cons of a reliably standardized megahotel. On the plus side it's clean and has two restaurants, a café space, a gym and a swimming pool. Our room had a big bathroom, comfortable beds and a dozen (no joke) wall sockets. It does however overlook a busy road, so light sleepers should enquire about rooms in the back.

Have previously attended and had great food so it's fair to say I was looking forward to it. On arrival the restaurant was pretty empty, apart from 2 tables of approximately 6 people. We placed our order and waited for our food. We continued to wait, and wait, and wait.... About 4 or 5 tables had guests arrive for dinner after we had placed our order. It soon became obviously that they were being served their food before us. No member of staff approached us to apogise for the delay. After 45 minutes we asked how long our food would be? We received an apology and 10 minutes later our food arrived. When it did the mash, veg, and meat were cold, yet the roasties were hot. There's nothing worse than cold food! We advised the staff who apologised and took our food away. It came back after a good 10 minutes, exactly as it had been given to them. It was clear it had been dinged in the microwave. Now considering this, you would have expected your food back in a few minutes, not 10. On starting to eat it, parts of it were warm and other parts not warm at all, which is strange in itself. Perhaps it had been microwaved and left sitting again before being served to us. We did advise the staff of this. However, we were so hungry that we ate what we could and took the rest home for the dog. Really disappointing to say the least.

Perfectly acceptable, but poor bar at restaurant staff. Told to be quite when not being overly loud, but always respectful, in a basically empty bar. Staff in bar and restaurant were far from friendly or welcoming. Otherwise a perfectly acceptable hotel.
