Costa Coffee in Ards

I got what I wanted but the Sausage bay's seem to be getting smaller.

Great coffee and good variety of food choices. Staff very pleasant and quick service. Quite small cafe, not great space between tables.

Met here for a date before going elsewhere. Thought I couldn't go wrong with Costa, probably the worst one I've been to. Instead of normal coffee syrup, we were given a thick sauce that coated the cup instead of mixing with the drink. Disappointed with the complete lack of vegan treats. Confusing veggie signs on desserts. Service was slow, barista didn't seem fast or confident (I have worked/managed Costa) and the coffee was sub standard. Grinder needs checking. All in all, rather disappointing.

Cousy place with nice service and decent food

Very disappointed with the Cortado. Small glass half coffee/milk and half foam! For this overrated coffee they charge £3.50

Nice place to relax and forget you're in a shopping centre. The iced tea is nice as was the lemon muffin. It's always busy here which is a good sign.

It's a Costa, does what it says on the tin. Nothing special, reasonable coffee.

Was sent a 50£ card gift by my son in America unfortunately despite being in northern Ireland and part of the UK costa refused to honour it. They said they are costa Ireland and therefore can't. Absolutely sick of this kind of discrimination when they are only too happy to operate in northern Ireland. Sharp practice and daylight robbery.

Better than average Costa with really helpful, efficient staff. It was busy when we were there but the queue was kept moving efficiently and yet staff were courteous and attentive. Quality beverages and good enough selection of snacks and pastries too.

Costa - still my favourite place to relax with a lovely cappuccino.

Coffees great so are the treats, but the furniture is pretty disgusting, l've seen better in a junk shop.... Time for new furnishings 🤔🙄

Attended Costa coffee today with my mum to get some lunch. As she was in the queue I sat down at a table as I'm 6 months pregnant to wait on her. As she was in the queue for a few minutes a member of staff, approached me saying that I could not reserve the table. There were no signs up to this effect. Before this on arrival I had noticed several other customers saving tables. We decided to leave. We walked past Costa again half an hour later and we noticed about 5 different customers at tables, reserving them while others were ordering for them. We have been attending this coffee shop for at least 5 - 10 years. We don't feel valued and are very disappointed.

Great coffee, yummy lemon muffin and cheerful staff who showed this old lady how to find wifi!

The food looked lovely, but was quite expensive. We had hot chocolate, I had chocolate orange and my daughter had the after eight mint, we both got a toasted sandwich and a chocolate muffin. The price was £21 odds, and this was only a snack. The thing that bothered me most of all was that my 4 week old grandson had become fussy and was wanting fed. I asked if it would have been possible to borrow/ use one of the chairs in the seating area to feed him, and the assistant just looked at me and said no. I explained that there weren't any seats in the mall and she just shrugged her shoulders. I was quite annoyed by this time and becoming stressed due to the baby becoming more upset. In the end I went and sat on the kiddies carrosel to feed him. I understand regulations but some rules can be broken in order to facilitate the feeding of a baby. We will definitely not be back to Costa

Very poor layout for the current situation, they've put in a one way system that is counterintuitive, staff out on floor wearing a mask then a mate comes in and she takes it down to gossip. Tables too close to where people are queuing. Will be avoiding until its safer to be in such a small space

Great coffee from the well known chain.

Not so much as hated but disliked. The decor is in dire need of an upgrade especially the furniture, old, chairs and flooring very dirty. One of the male staff members was a bit rude but maybe he had had a long day.

Visited briefly with friends in August 2019. I was impressed by the modern decor and the good cleanliness - much better than the Bloomfields store! I was served professionally by Emily and ordered a mocha. It didn't taste out of the ordinary but was okay nonetheless. However, a bug bear of mine keeps annoying me - marshmallows!! Why is it that businesses charge 50p for three marshmallows!?!? Come on, customers aren't stupid it's a rip off! Buy mini marshmallows instead and give a good portion like Haptik or The Red Berry do! Coffee was £4.15 in total - quite expensive in comparison to local cafes. However the coffee was fine, the service was friendly and the place was clean and modern. Can't really ask for more.

Typical of the rest of the chain selling their house blend of coffee with pastry and sandwiches if you are hungry.

Cleaner than Starbucks which is starting to resemble a student's union. Actually had to tear one of the kids off the sticky armchairs there. (Starbucks, not Costas they're lovely and clean)

Hot chocolate was so weak it was tasteless. Latte tasted like warm milk. Very disappointed.

Staff was friendly, shop was a little bit busy but still got my order quick enough. if you need to sit down and have a coffee/tea/hot chocolate, I would 100% recommend going here.
