Wonderful restaurant experience. Each course was flavorful and visually stunning. The staff was polite and attentive without hovering. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had all year.

When we arrived we were asked if we had booked but as we hadn't we were given a table in the kids corner.(We were a group of 4 adults , 13 and a 10 year old) The waitress taking the drinks order did not wait for everyone on to order had to order again when she brought the kids drink. The cutlery had to be changed at one setting as it dirty with dry food on it. I had roast beef which was tender but the vegetables were boiled beyond the point of no return. I certainly won't be back.

More hit than miss. The cheesecake and oat cookie were both really good. 5 star stuff as was the sausage roll. The rhubarb tart tasted fermented and wasn't pleasant to eat at all. A 2 at best for it. Overall I'd certainly go back.

Give it a miss! Cold eggs, over cooked sausages and weak coffee. Well over priced! Bloke behind the counter seems to hate his job!

Such a wonderful find! Very pleasant and cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food! The mushroom toast was amazing - very flavorful with an excellent combination of textures. The coffee was nice as well. Highly recommended!

I have used this chip shop for many years and have no hesitation in recommending it for a takeaway. I would also like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to one of the members of staff called Yasmin for finding my wallet and made sure it was safe until I got it.

Really poor experience … went for food here for the first time in a couple years … this place used to be amazing and we were so looking forward to it. Severely disappointed. Hubby ordered the supposed slow cooked roast beef … honestly you’d have needed a chain saw to cut it , it was so tough. I had open chicken salad … which supposed to come on wheaten bread … no Wheaton bread to be seen. It consisted on lettuce tomato beetroot chicken and coleslaw and a few slices of orange ?!! for £16.50 …. Complete joke and rip off …. This used to be so much better . Completely horrified by the service too … young girls walking past uninterested and not asking was all ok. Won’t be back as it’s a waste of money and time . Once a well established restaurant is now very sub standard To be fair they didn’t charge for the cardboard roast beef but still an expensive visit for nothing .

Stayed in premier inn next door. Booked table for 8.30, sat down, no one came near us for 30 mins despite being relatively quiet. Each course seemed to take an age. Part of mains were missing. Microwave food at best taking 30 mins a course. Unacceptable. 10pm and still waiting for dessert
