Beef and Bird in Lisburn

When we arrived we were asked if we had booked but as we hadn't we were given a table in the kids corner.(We were a group of 4 adults , 13 and a 10 year old) The waitress taking the drinks order did not wait for everyone on to order had to order again when she brought the kids drink. The cutlery had to be changed at one setting as it dirty with dry food on it. I had roast beef which was tender but the vegetables were boiled beyond the point of no return. I certainly won't be back.

Absolutely Shocking. I'm not one for reviews but the way the manager has just spoken to me after an appalling experience needs to be documented. 1hr and a half wait for 2 pizzas that came out burnt, an open prawn salad requested no cucumber and came with a long hair attached to one and ribs that were edible but below par. The girl we were served by was nice and apologised for the service, our meals had been forgotten about as kitchen was extremely understaffed. The manager who we paid the bill with spoke as if she was doing us a favour for taking off the food that all had to be sent back. There was no apology from her and when I questioned did she think it justifiable to charge full for rest of the bill after us waiting an hour and a half for substandard (agreed by staff) food to come out she laughed at me and refused to give her name. Another somewhat embarrassed member of staff advised her name was Bronagh, Bronagh was busy when I left as a man was also advising her of his awful experience. Again she pouted and laughed at him. Had she have had some sort of accountability or any respect/manners I wouldn't be writing this but she is not someone who should be interacting with the public. Food mediocre, wait time awful but Bronagh an absolute disgrace.

This is an excellent steak house with good variety on the menu. The prices are quite high but the quality of the food makes tit justifiable. Staff are helpful and friendly and the design of the restaurant is nice. I can vouch for the burger and chips. All cooked to my liking and we had nachos to start. In the past Ive had the ribs and the steak. Have never been disappointed when I visit Del Toro

Their boozy brunch was unreal. They were very attentive to drinks and the food was so yummy! 10/10. Would recommend to anybody.

Seated a couple of minutes after 11( after waiting for a table to be cleared) in the new little Del Toro cafe in Hillsborough for breakfast on Mother’s Day, but had to leave as would only serve lunch after 11. Very disappointed but had a lovely breakfast and a warm welcome in Lisburn.

Was with friends today for a baby shower and the service was absolutely amazing. Food was perfect and decor and entertainment was fantatstic. Special thanks to lyndsey our host on a fantastic job today, making us feel all so welcome and brought a laugh to the table. Fab day had by all

Held a baby shower for my daughter and had absolutely nothing to do , everything was set up so beautifully for us , and the host was absolutely amazing (lindsay), we had such a great time with lots of laughs . The food was also absolutely amazing . Will definitely be booking again , made amazing memories ❤️

Went for botmless brunch with my sister we brought my niece and she got complimentary ice cream and juice and between our orders we got other free glasses of Prosecco and the staff were amazing! Especially our server for the day amazing will deffo be back and hopefully win £100!!😂😂😂

Thank you so much for bottomless brunch on Saturday for my friends 40th birthday celebrations.I have to say the staff in del toro are amazing, we love the food and the drink but the staff are what make it, been many times from baby shower, dinner, Xmas eve breakfast, bottomless brunch and the staff are simply the best, never change. Went with my wife on Friday. The service was first class, very friendly and polite. The food was even better (if possible). Southern fried chicken burger and gourmet burger were unreal. Highly recommended. Most probably the best place in lisburn to dine 5*
