We called in to Hedleys on 23/07/2024, for some lunch as we were running late. We both had the "Mince meat pie" one with chips, the other with mashed potatoes. The best thing about my lunch was the chips, the pie was lacking in taste, neither carrot or onion was in it, the other lunch was just as bad but the mashed potatoes lacked seasoning. They do a good pot of soup, and we wished we had gone with that option.

My wife and I called here on Saturday morning.I ordered a breakfast bap and my wife had eggs and toast. We also bought scones for later that evening however as they looked so tasty we sampled one with our tea. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The refills of our tea made everything even better. The staff were friendly and the place was clean bright and welcoming. The scones we had later were also delicious, we took a variety of the flavours. I highly recommend Hedleys.

My partner and i had a fabulous breakfast at hedleys recently…it was perfectly cooked with a lovely cup of coffee…the owner phil is nothing short of a true gentleman and made us feel very welcome and comfortable…nothing was too much trouble!!! The food, service and buzzy atmosphere was second to none! We wish you well phil and brenda!! Excellent value for money!!! Thank you so much xx

My friend and I had lovely scones, tea and a tray bake yesterday, was really tasty, my scone had lots of cherries which was very pleasing. It was quite busy but we got served quickly. We will definitely return.

Me and my collegues had a lovely lunch in here on our work break and this will definitely be our new go to. Quick service with yummy food

Disappointed with the way service has gone , poorly organised for those of us only wanting scones, tray bakes, tea coffee ect. All focus seems to be on those looking frys. Unfortunately this wasn't a one off experience this was 3 weeks in a row as I would have been a regular customer ever week..😔

Stephen the owner a gentleman treats every customer with respect. The food is always very tasty I have never been disappointed with the food service & the courtesy of the staff.

Hi place to go to.... Always nice food n service, called the other day and got scones as afters... But the size of the scones were that small they were definitely classed as MINI scones... Definitely not worth the large price tag... Very disappointed 😞.

Amazing food, and the best service I’ve ever experienced in my life!

This restaurant is very conveniently located in the heart of Lisburn's main shopping district. It serves freshly cooked breakfast and lunch meals at Mcdonald's-style prices. The service is very quick and efficient and the staff are very polite and friendly.

First time in hedleys, stopped for some breakfast but we where to late so had some lunch instead. Food was beautiful and service was great. Will be back.

We discovered this place last year and WOW were we glad we did. Stephen and all the staff are absolutely amazing. We fell in love with the bacon babs and as we have a 3hr drive to get to Lisburn now my husband insists he requires 2 !!!

Went this morning for breakfast, lived in Lisburn my whole life but I regret not trying this hidden gem sooner. Food was delicious and customer service was outstanding, highly recommend!

Had a wee fry and lovely hot tea with free top ups.... Food was freshly cooked to order and was cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff, I watched and noticed also how the staff constantly helped elderly folk to their tables and carried their food/drink for them, place spotless too 👍🏼👍🏼

We stopped for lunch at Hedley’s on the second day of a week’s vacation, our first visit to Northern Ireland, or anywhere else overseas, for that matter. The home-cooked food couldn’t have been more delicious, and the staff were kind and welcoming to strangers from across the ocean. A man who I assume is the owner showed us to our table, carried one of our trays, and came back to check on us – service completely unexpected in what appeared at first to be a cafeteria-style self-service restaurant. We came back again a couple of days later, and will definitely return the next time we’re in Lisburn.

We stopped in because of the good reviews, and they were well earned. The food was delicious, and the people were genuinely friendly and helpful. If we're back in the area, we will be coming back!

Absolutely great, friendly ,and delicious food , a group of 10 of us turned up at lunchtime. When they were very busy , we were welcomed and seated and served and looked after . Can't rate this wee gem of a place high enough , thank you.

We got the large breakfast fry here at Hedleys Restaurant and it was so delicious! The staff were so kind and welcoming, would definitely come back next time I’m in Belfast :)

Great place only visited for first time today. Made me and my mum feel very relaxed and very attentive staff. Homemade food yummy. Owner and staff should be very proud of such a nice charming place.

Although we are not in Lisburn very often - a visit to Lisburn is not complete without a meal in Hedleys. Staff are so friendly, food lovely and fresh and Stephen is an absolute gentleman. Always look forward to our 'Lisburn treat'.

Had a light lunch. Lovely sausage roll and hubby had soup and sandwiches. The staff were very welcoming and the gentleman owner made sure that everyone was happy. Lisburn is a very pleasant town.

This place is fantastic..great food great customer service and not forgetting Stephen owner he makes everyone so welcome and adds that's personal touch ever visit ..nothing is to much trouble. Please visit you will not be disappointed. 5 stars

Little gem of a place in the town centre. Sadly I missed their breakfast but the rest of the food on offer looked good and I’m glad I stayed. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Always choose to support local businesses where possible and this is definitely one of the best. Stephen and his team are always so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Stephen knows all his regular customers by name - nothing like the personal touch. Please support him as so many SMEs have suffered because of the pandemic

Second time in Hedleys restaurant food delicious staff really helpful and friendly really nice place to go.

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon, had coffee and a traybake- both fantastic. While sitting at my table, the gentleman working asked would I like my tea topped up, when he realised I was drinking coffee he insisted on giving me another coffee on the house- extremely thoughtful and very much appreciated. I’ll be back!

Small cafe _high standard of cleanliness. Food freshly cooked , manager of establishmet on site ensuring smooth running of same .Delightful place to stop for coffee ,tea .tasty menu hot food , desserts ,sandwiches , scones . Seated tables ,each enclosed with private panels .Highly recommend .

Really nice place, the owner is an absolutely pleasant person. Customer service is spot on and the food was up to a really good standard, would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a bite to eat in Lisburn, there are no bathrooms here.

Great food staff fantastic very willing to help

Went by train for a day out to Lisburn. Hedley's menu looked attractive for a light lunch, so we went in. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered 3 teas, a toastie, home made soup and a roll and a chicken salad bagette. All fresh and very tasty. Great value at just over £15 for the 3 of us.

Best fry up in Lisburn city. The staff are super sweet and helpful too and the prices are exceptional.

Fabulous tasty food, miss it not being open with lockdown looking forward to it reopening, miss the chicken and broccoli bake and coleslaw. Need to bring back the stuffed sausages again. Extremely nice friendly staff and awesome guy owning it stephen so attentive of his customers

Ive visited Hedleys many, many times over the years (30+ years), the food quality is always of a high standard, lovely friendly staff. The ONLY disappointing quality is that of the tea and coffee, very cheap low grade used, tea is like stewed dish water and the coffee cheap instant that is thrown into a mug in front of you. This I would imagine puts off many people from returning, PLEASE use better tea and proper filtered coffee that you can smell as you walk in.

So safe to be there everything is just great. All the tables are screened off and both tables and chairs are sanitised between customers.

I have been coming here for years, food is always excellent, sweet treats are fantastic as well. Good size portions staff are friendly and the owner never forgets your face, always has time to have a chat with you. Definitely worth a visit.

Just had lunch here and can't recommend this place highly enough. It must be so difficult managing a restaurant in a pandemic, but having ordered our food, a lovely gentleman helped take it to our table. We had a light lunch but it was delicious, the children had stew, which they scraped their plates, and my chicken salad mayo baguette was fresh and delicious. Great service and we were made to feel special! Thank you

In for a quick bite to eat on Saturday afternoon, the owner and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, have never had better service. Food was great too so will definitely be back.

Visiting Lisburn this weekend dropped in here with a friend and 2 teenage boys. As soon as the owner heard our accents he introduced himself and made us all feel very welcome. Food cooked fresh and very tasty ,free refills on teas and coffees, would have tried the giant sized portions of baking but too full after breakfast. If you are looking for good food at great prices with fantastic service from all staff and ,a great welcome do not pass by.. Would Highly Recommend

Lovely cafe with traditional food. Staff are lovely, especially the owner who really goes above and beyond to make your experience a comfortable and enjoyable one. I went with a child and a baby and he was so accommodating, which I really appreciated

It's not often that I take to the computer to write a review however after my visit today I felt it was an absolute necessity to do so. The food itself was outstanding although the service standard set by the owner/manager was the real winner.. truly exceptional and a rarity these days! I will most certainly be back.

First visit to Hedley’s in years but will be back within weeks! Great staff and welcoming and attentive owner. Food was very good and prices very low (small fry @ £3.25!) and wide selection of coffees, including free (whole mug) refills. Give it a try if you’re in Lisburn city centre!

Only had a snack but food looks really good

The owner was fabulous. Moved table to accommodate us 2 prams and a wheelchair. Took time and trouble to speak to my mum and dad both well in their 80's. Food was excellent and good value. No complaints at all. Would recommend this lovely restaurant for lunch or coofee and cake. Service was outstanding.

Not much of a choice for vegetarians and if you are getting a dinner everything is priced individually wouldn't be back

Really disappointed this morning. We stood waiting to be served, lady continued to cut pie, completely ignoring us standing, she then continued to make plates up , NO PROBLEM but ( sorry to keep you waiting or with you in few minutes ) would have made major difference. We actually walked out. Not happy

Great homemade cakes, scones, pies, tarts etc- friendly staff. Very good place to pop in for coffee or lunch when in town. All food made on the premises.

Owner is very people orientated, real old school customer service. Good sized portions, with just the right prices. Have tried other local cafes but always come back to the old favourite for that cup of coffee and a bun. Bigger meals available, like mince pie and chips, sausage rolls, sandwhiches etc. Great wee place to rest the feet mid shop.

This is definitely the best coffee shop in Lisburn. Choice in Lisburn is pretty limited but this wee spot holds its own for good old fashioned scones and tray bakes. The service is always really friendly and helpful. I often bring my Mum in a wheelchair, and they could not be more helpful in terms of getting us seated and helping us with our food tray. Sometimes it's just nice to be helped!

Called in here for a meal with my husband and parents before heading to the airport having attended a family wedding in the area. Am so glad we did. Excellent home cooked food and customer service . Despite it being a self service restaurant, having the manager carry our tray to the table, then checking that our food was warm enough and if we needed a top up yo our drinks was a lovely touch. A refreshing change to meet people who enjoy their job. I urge locals to support this place. Go past the chain high street eateries and give Hedleys a try! Loved it! ❤

Called in mid morning for quick snack, lovely welcome and had my tray carried to table, nice touch, noticed it happened several times during visit. Used to visit regularly but now not in this area, so was delighted to find unchanged for quality and service.lots ladies calling in for a cuppa.nice to feel custom is appreciated.
