English bar man was great craic

Food was nice and atmosphere was good. The portions are a good size and menu is small but packed with quality - which is always a good sign. Lots of cocktail options available.

Had lovely family birthday get together. Staff were wonderful. Food was great. We definitely will be back.

I had their Roast beef Sunday lunch ladt week (Feb 25) I honestly don't know how they had the nerve to serve it to me. The Yorkshire Pudding was inedible. It was burnt and dried out so much, like it fell apart into a heap of Ash. The server could see I wasn't happy and he brought me another one, but more of the same..extremely dry and very unpleasant, as were the 2 small roast potatoes. Just a small dribble of gravy. The mash was ok and the few carrots on the plate were OK. The beef itself was ok but spoiled by the rest. Never again. The small quantity turned out to be a blessing. Just avoid

Really couldn't fault it, a warm welcome, great food and a roaring fire .... perfect.

We ate here on Sunday evening and had the roast beef dinner and the salmon dinner. The food was fantastic, the roast potatoes and roast veg were so well flavoured, the mash was creamy and smooth and the roast beef literally just fell apart as it was so tender. The service was also excellent. Would highly recommend.

Very warming atmosphere,friendly staff. Excellent service,good prices,well presented hearty excellent quality food. Throughly enjoyed my meal and Guinness. Definitely plan to return and would highly recommend to others.

Will never be back, worst experience of a restaurant meal ever had, two were served meal with out pepper sauces and after asking three times, the male staff member lacked professionalism and manners - snapped at young people in our group that’s the third time you have asked for sauces, 10 minutes later had to walk up to bar to ask fourth time as nothing came, when sauces came food was eaten cold, to add to the poor service I was served steak without a steak knife so could not eat it and when that eventually came fifteen minutes after the plate was set down when i had the cheek to bother the staff for cutlery- the steak had to go back as it was cold, - same rude male staff member blamed me claiming that requesting sauces when they didn’t arrive, was the reason the steak was cold! ,Take responsibility for diabolical service and stop blaming the customer! Disgusted by the male staff member who berated several of the party - attitude problem - cannot recommend due to poor service!!

We went for a walk in Moira Park and finished off with a great lunch at Pretty Mary's. We had prawn cocktail and seafood chowder. This is our second visit, and we weren't disappointed

We enjoyed yet another meal at Pretty Marys Moira tonight. The meals arrived hot to say it was really good is an understatement. Service was excellent nothing was a bother both bar staff and table staff couldn't have done any more. Thank you for making my daughters 40th birthday a success.

Made an impromptu decision to call into Pretty Mary's on New Years Day after a walk and it was great. The atmosphere was cosy, relaxed and family and pet friendly too. Every member of staff was friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We were lucky to get a table in the restaurant area and the food was delicious. We had the comforting roast beef dinner. I would definitely recommend for a relaxed afternoon in a fire lit village pub setting.

The food here was only surpassed by the quality of the service. Audrey was our waitress and was just fantastic

Food was very tasty, staff were pleasantly friendly however we waited a long time for our food. I think we were there for 3 hours for starters and mains.

Had brie starter, the turkey and ham. Simple , tasty good food served hot.

Grew up here and gone for years with many a party, booking and dinners. 16 of us went for dinner. Food came out and while not great it wasn’t terrible. However no one ever came back to offer anything like condiments nor ask how are food was. Bill time came and they made a mistake (bill over £400!) yet rather than gracefully navigate the issue, they were awkward resulting in us over paying. I had a £20 burger yet paid £12 for a tip that was wholly undeserved. Very, very disappointing. On a side note whoever chose the decor for chairs and soft furnishings should be shot.

Called today for drinks only. Pint of Guinness small bottle of prosecco and bag of crisps £16 .30. Never have I been charged much in a bar /restaurant. The prosecco was luke warm and could only drink half. It needs to be properly chilled!. Won't be returning at these prices lots of nice and cheaper places to visit.

Delicious food (I had the seafood chowder with bread), attentive and very friendly service, relaxed atmosphere! There’s a bar in front & restaurant in back. Live music on Friday & Saturday (I think). Would highly recommend if in the area!

Great little pub. Always people in it and the Guinness is beautiful. Front bar has a lovely fire and the back is more suited for food service. Will definitely be back

We went to pretty Mary's for early dinner. My granddaughter 2 yrs old took a meltdown crying. The staff could not have been nicer and so patient. I had the lasagne it was delicious cooked perfectly. Everyone else enjoyed their food wings and carbonara. It is dog friendly some beautiful dogs in the bar area. Overall great.

Called for a drink as we had business in Moira. Super friendly staff and although we didn't eat the menu was excellent and varied.. The only issue was two people arrived with three dogs and they were up on the seats. I have no issues with dogs but not on seats. Please put a few notices up.."No Dogs Allowed on Seats"

Went for a couple of drinks with a mate. It has a nice atmosphere and there wasn't any trouble when I was there! The outside space is a bit small, but good to have if you don't want to sit inside with the LOUD live music! There's a couple of patio heaters to keep you warm!

One of those places that surprises and delights. From outside it doesn't look like much, but the inside is a different story. You enter through a narrow hall and to the right is an authentic Irish bar, go further on to the back and it becomes a warm and inviting restaurant. The food was very good, the service was friendly and efficient, even the seats are more comfortable than most. Would recommend to anyone.

Moria is a lovely we town with plenty of restaurants and bars and some great we farm shops. We head up once a month for the meat in the meat merchant and normally stop for lunch. This place is a fantastic we lunch spot, the stuff are friendly and helpful the food is great. I would love to see what it's like in the evening

Absolutely gorgeous food. Great service and atmosphere. Food was to die for nicest meal I have had out in a long time. Chicken wings cooked to perfection slightly crispy plenty of sauce, and asked for a well done steak and it was the nicest one out I’ve ever had! Homemade chips and onion rings beautiful. Honestly so delighted will be back and will recommend to everyone. Portion sizes amazing. 12/10 unfortunately too stuffed to have a dessert hopefully next time!

Got the chicken stack, menu stated it was goujons but what was served was something similar to schnitzel that was rubbery to the point of being inedible. Mash was tasted like it had been reheated a few times. Very poor for such a basic meal.

1 star only for the fact I can't give it zero. We regularly eat here so I booked for a party of 14 for my stag do nearly a month in advance was told we had to pre-book meals that was no problem sent them a list of everyone's orders again no problem only to be told a few days before the party by the owner that the menu we had been sent was wrong and we wouldn't be getting any of the food or deals that was on it and tried to make out that I was stupid for thinking they would do any type of offer on meals at the weekend we where given the option of picking meals at twice the original price or simply cancel our booking as they where busy that night anyway. To be honest I couldn't care if he offered the meals for free after the ignorance and simple disregard to even acknowledge that it was fully their mistake. I will never darken their door again! And to anyone reading this the still house straight across the road couldn't have been more accommodating to me after this ordeal.

Great roast dinners! Warm and friendly.

Yet again we had a great steak on Friday night. We want to thank Alice for her great customer service! She ensured that we were looked after very well and checked in on us on a regular basis to make sure that everything was to our expectation.

Visited today (Sunday) for lunch at 2.30, orders taken at 2.45 it took over 35 mins for one starter and a kids meal. The server said the kitchen was busy but there was 5/6 free tables free around us. There was another 25 min wait on 2 mains which when arrived the potatoes and veg were cold, they were taken away and returned to us in 2/3 mins roasting so I would guess it was just put into the microwave and another reason I think that is the roast potato was crispy before lifted then soft when brought back. Carrots were also raw, I like a bite to my veg but the carrots were raw. Food was under seasoned if seasoned at all. I have visited here 3 times before on a Sunday and loved it but really can't see myself going back

Great food at very good price. Bar tender was excellent, no margarita on drinks menu but made 1 for my wife.

I normally visit for Sunday lunch, on those occasions it's give stars across the board, but my recent experience was on a Friday night. Place was reasonably busy, table booked for early evening, got there early and shown to my table, ordered drinks and food. When ordering the server talked over my kid when ordering his food and didn't take down his specific dietary requirements.... Starters arrived quickly and were fantastic, went to order more drinks and was met by an unnecessarily cheeky younger waitress who got very pedantic about a water jug or water bottle when we asked for more of what we already had. On reflection it was just cheeky and rude and somewhat soured the night. Sadly food took about an hour to arrive after starters and sadly my sons food was incorrect, the talking over him had ignored the 'no mayo' request he was trying to convey. When asked if everything was OK I asked for it to be fixed and they did, but got a distinct displeasure from the original server who had not listened. Otherwise, food was good but when spending £130 for pub grub you don't really expect the long wait and rude staff. We'll probably go to the other pub in the village now and only visit pm's on a Sunday in quiet times.

Fantastic place to eat and hang out. Had a late lunch after a long walk. Greeted with a smile and lots of help. Ordered the Salt and chilli chicken wrap with fries and a pint. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Would recommend this to anyone. Also very reasonably priced.

Had dinner here last night for our anniversary Whilst no complaints about food waitress service was poor Not once were we asked if everything was ok - even when our empty plates were collected We sat for over 15 mins after finishing our food to try and get the attention of a waitress to order cocktails Eventually I had to go up to the bar to order these Given we spent over £100 this was not the service one would expect

Recently went here for a treat and, as always, had a lovely meal with great friendly service. I chatted with Ian on arrival and always feel welcome. The staff and service are 1st class. Nothing is too much bother. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection. I have also had the Sunday roast lunch which l love. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pretty Mary's as a great place for a lovely meal. I will be back!

Family of 7 went for a meal on Saturday night, very limited menu. Four people asked for the fillet medallions, had to tell the waitress what way we wanted them cooked then she had to go and ask the chef was this ok. Every time we ordered a drink it was just slapped down on the table, guests just looked at each other, wondering what was that all about. Took about 20mins to get a desert menu after the mains. Asked for the bill and we all agreed to leave a tip but someone checked the bill and there was a service charge on it, very cheeky doing that we thought, so they got nothing. (£34 service charge) what food there was on the menu was very good but as I said very limited.

Door staff have changed. Not for the better. Doors closed early on Saturdays. No explanation and wouldn't let queueing regulars in when other patrons left.

Dog friendly, nice atmosphere enjoyed the light meal we had and the service was good with friendly staff.

8 of us in for a meal. Very slow service for drinks. When the food eventually arrived it was overcooked and not warm. We all reluctantly ate what we could because we were hungry but the food that was left said it all. To crown it all they had the audacity to put on a service charge. Needless to say none of us will be back.

Lovely atmosphere enhanced by the superb coal fire. Great service, good attention to our needs without being a pain. Lovely food, ticked the boxes for flavour and quantity, looking forward to our next visit.

Called in with friends and we all had lovely meals, but got to say the sausage and mash is the best we have ever had. Very friendly staff. Wish I lived nearby.

Arrived here on Friday evening, all 10 booked in. I ordered the wide open prawn sandwich which arrived down. I never seen a more miserable lonely looking Sandwich. 2 pieces of small cut wheaten bread, half a dozen prawns on each slice, spoonful of cheese, spoon full of Coleslaw, 1 marble sized tomato and a handful of salad which had 3 thin slices of peppers in it. All for the amazing price of £15. Most diffinately not value for money. Then the music came on as we where still eating our food. It was so loud we couldn't talk to each other, we then moved outside to escape the loudness and finish our drinks and promptly left. A tip, please make the portions bigger, and do not put on music until people have finished their meals.

Despite being really busy the staff still fitted our party of six in outside without a reservation. All the food was really good and arrived quickly. Several of us had the sausages and the vegan options were good too.
