Having had a big breakfast earlier in the day , we spent a lot of time looking for a cafe/bistro for a light lunch. We came across Aragon which had one table left. The waitress was extremely pleasant and welcoming. My wife had Cajun chicken and pesto salad and I had the prawn salad. Both were excellent as were the coffees . All the other customers appeared to be just as happily with their meals and would fully recommend this cafe

As you come out of the James Herriot building walking towards the square this is the first Cafe you'll come to. You can't miss it on the corner and it's blue and white exterior. The shop is downstairs and the cafe is upstairs. There's a large menu for a small cafe with a lot of choice. I went for a Coronation chicken with mango that came with an onion Bhaji, crisps and fresh salad. Excellent value for Ā£8. It took me a while to eat it all and it was very tasty. It was a really nice place with quick service and very good value for money.

Well, we were here today for a Mothers Day lunch. Weād been a couple of years ago and itās been decorated since then. It looks much better. We looked at some of the meals been served nearby and they all looked decidedly underwhelming and a bit ā greasy spoon cafeā. So, undeterred we thought weād play it safe. We just ordered mains. One daughter had the mussels and my wife, myself and our other daughter had the roast chicken. The chicken was really nice but the vegetables were overdone, the Yorkshire pudding was a limp sponge and my roast potatoes looked like boiled ones. Having said all that I did polish everything off and it was quite tasty. Jess said her mussel sauce was a bit bland and the portion was small for a main course. As for the positives: the wine was good, my gluten free beers were great, our cocktails (quite a few of them) were very good and so was my coffee. But everything took an age to come out of the kitchen and one of the blokes bringing it out looked like heād been sleeping in a duvet in the nearest bus shelter. Our waiter, the only English chap, was excellent but he had to keep apologising for the slow service. For Richmond, the prices were not bad and we actually had a very nice time - but then we are a family that gets on and pretty much always have a good time when we are out. In essence, itās a good place in some ways but a gastro pub it is not.

Bloody brilliant. Food and ambience superb. Service with a smile. Superb plaice and monkfish Thai curry. The desserts are all made by the chef. We had a pavlova but look forward to coming back for the chocolate torte. Very underrated restaurant of the highest echelon.

I would highly recommend the Sunday carvary, food served lovely and hot and vegetables cooked to perfection, all fresh. We have just spent the last few hours enjoying one of the best roast dinners. The service was excellent and the staff were really nice helpful.

My favourite place for breakfast after a sunny, bracing walk from St Davids along the coastline. Service was spot on and food was delicious. On way out, grabbed a brownie to go. The chef had just made marmalade and asked if I'd like some to go with. Lovely! Warmed the brownie and marmalade that evening and good god now I no longer want to eat anything else. Heavenly.
