The best restaurants serving British food in England

I visit this place regularly, the food is great, the staff are great! If you are local to Derby or Nottingham or are going to the airport, you have to swing by and grab a cake or a breakfast!

He estado aquí muchas veces, pero la familiaridad ha generado desprecio como nunca antes lo había revisado, estando atrapado en el momento. Los restaurantes pop up en el PITP un viernes por la noche son una alegría absoluta y la oferta de las últimas noches (montada por un ex finalista de Mastechef nada menos) no fue la excepción. Lo que realmente hace el lugar son las personas. Andy y Julie (este último tristemente ausente anoche) son anfitriones consumados y considerados, lo que siempre hace que sea una velada agradable. La comida y el vino tienen muy buena relación calidad-precio, así que no romperá el banco venir a este encantador restaurante del barrio.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, well cooked and presented. Lovely fresh veg. Roaring fire and nice friendly atmosphere. Reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

Great choice for a family meal as part of a Dales mini-break. Superb welcome from Paul, fabulous food prepared by pam - all in a wonderfully designed restaurant. If you are staying in or near Hawes, this is a definitely a restaurant to experience...

Superb anniversary surprise. Every tiny detail of this evening has been excellent. The food, drink and service all 5 stars. I would say Furna deserves the best in Brighton and possibly Sussex accolade. The team couldn’t do more to make our evening memorable. Can’t wait to return.

Our family live in various parts of the country and arranged to meet here at the Berwick Tea Rooms in memory of our late Mum. We weren't disappointed, we had the most delicious afternoon tea. The lovely Georgie made us very welcome and catered for all the family dietary requirements. We also had the canine division of the family with us -lovely Luna and adorable Diesel both were well behaved and were also catered for. The food was delicious. I can't select one particular favourite as everything was brilliant. Thankyou for such a delicious spread x

Delicious and independent veggy and vegan cafe in the heart of Guildford run by very friendly owners. Just what Guildford needs. To start I had yummy homemade mushroom and leek quiche accompanied with fresh tasty mix of different salads. I stayed to write my Christmas cards being so behind with Christmas, they didn’t mind at all. All that Christmas card writing made me hungry, good excuse to enjoy a lunch of mushroom stroganoff, salads , followed by Fruit Crumble and cream. Yum. Set in a lovely, atmospheric, historic building. Good value too.

Lovely family run business. Food was made on the premises and was great. The sausage rolls and cakes are amazing, we will definatly be going again. Friendly efficient staff and beautiful little tea room.

Thank you so much for making our meal for our 40th wedding anniversary with our friends so memorable. The standard of food was superb and presentation exceptional, this was down to the dedication of the team in the kitchen and their mentors . The service we received from the young man (clover) was outstanding and he should be rightly proud as the rest of the serving team and mentors should be. £21 yes £21 for a three course restaurant meal and expirience. When we are next up this way on holiday we shall most definately be booking a lunch and will recommend to our family and friends. Finally a big thankyou for the marvellous cake which you presented to us. It was delicious and again a reflection of the superb team you have at the college including the your booking collegue. A very well kept real ale, Beeston Brewery Worth the Wait. The owners pride themselves in quality drink and food products and they don’t disappoint! Rooms available to and although not stayed in them I have no doubt the quality spills into their letting rooms as well.

Tuve la fiesta de mi sexto cumpleaños de mis hijas en los Piratas Hackney y ella tuvo el mejor momento. No solo el personal fue muy amable, sino que también se aseguraron de que estuviéramos preparados a tiempo para la fiesta. Nos cuidamos a nosotros mismos y nos ayudaron a limpiar después de lo cual fue increíble. Lugar realmente inspirador con montañas de creatividad y consideración.
