Fabulous food in a fabulous restaurant. The staff were very informative and helpful. The ambiance was friendly and warm on a cold autumn night. We will definitely be back and will make a point of visiting your other restaurants

Path up from Lymouth central car park (free after 6pm) is steep but steps are well lit. Ring the bell for entry! Only a few tables available to cover hotel guests and non-residents, so be sure to book. Food must be pre ordered, but is then timed beautifully. Staff could not be more helpful. Whole atmosphere is so different to some modern sea-side facilities, we appreciated the care taken and interesting decor (local pottery figues, wall of interesting mirrors). But access may be a problem to some.

Just made a second visit with different adult family members. It is now our major reason to visit King's Lynn. An historic venue. You have to accept it is up stairs. Lovely, friendly staff and attentive service. Food is a treat and freshly cooked/prepared on the premises ! More than just a snack if you wish.

Stayed in Brighton for a couple of nights and came across the Argyle arms on TripAdvisor reviews. What a fantastic little find. Staff were friendly and polite. We Sat at a table then went to the bar, they said they were only doing reservations that night, but as there were only two of us they could fit us in. We had the share plater the big smokes! Wow! it was huge, the brisket was so tender you actually cut it with a bread knife and it.melted in your mouth and the pork ribs were the same. My partner doesn't normally eat slaw but ate this one! So I asked for the recipe, most accommodating chef.🤫 The portion was so big, they gave us a doggy bag to take away, and we had it cold the next day with some fresh bread. Yum!

Well, what a fantastic find I had booked here because of my husband working in huntingdon. Not only are the staff incredibly friendly, but the food is second to none fantastic quality with a very reasonable price. We stayed in room 11 with hot tub. Yes, I agree with a resonate review that it just needs a tide up, but this didn't affect our stay in any way. We are now staying on for lunch before heading home, and we have also booked the horse box to bring our grandkids to next weekend and can't wait thanks go to Lucy front house and Ross the brilliant chief see you all next week 😀 xx

Kate helped us with catering for two dinners for eight people over a weekend on the Isle of Wight. From my initial enquiry, Kate was incredibly helpful with suggestions for well balanced menus using local seasonal produce. Both dinners were dropped off by Kate at our rental house and we were given perfect instructions to heat up the various courses for both evening meals. The detail and care that Kate put into both dinners was exceptional and everything was absolutely delicous. I couldn't recommend Kate and Angel in the Kitchen more highly.

A really enjoyable evening in an eclectic mix of people. Jon and Jo made us feel welcome in their home, delicious food accompanied by delightful singing! We were greeted by cocktails then moved on to a three course meal with additional treats. A donation was made to a very worthy local charity fir homeless people. A misy relaxing way to start the bank holiday weekend. Thank you both very much!

I had bought a wheel of tete de moine last Christmas, which The Cheese Plate had posted to me. It was great and I wanted another one this Christmas but this time I thought I'd drive up to Buntingford and see what else they have. Fortunately I was able to buy their last wheel of tete de moine, which, surprisingly, was the same price as last year! But they had some lovely other cheeses too - a spread of English, French, Swiss, Italian and Spanish I believe. The highlight was the creamy/gooey gorgonzola but I also bought a small pot of garlic jelly - something I hadn't seen before and an excellent morbier, far better than what's on offer in supermarkets.
