The best restaurants serving British food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Very disappointing. Staff at the till very unfriendly. The person making the coffee very unhygenic. They dropped the wiping cloth on the floor then proceeded to use it on the coffee machine. Absolutely disgusting. Have travelled from West Yorkshire and will not come here again. Originally from Rochdale so anybody local dont bother. Ps and the pets allowed in here is untrue. A very large bird was on a customers shoulder i the food section. Not acceptable at all with bird flu etc. So shocked they allowed it and is probably against health snd safety regulations.

Llegué a la 1 pm pidió un pan tostado, pannini y nuggets de pollo para niños, el servicio en la caja fue dolorosamente lento, pero tomó nuestro número y esperó, y esperó y esperó .. llegó a la 1. 40 y las familias que entraban después recibían su comida. Preguntó al personal y dijo 10 minutos... otros 20 minutos después y otra comida de las familias salió... fue a la caja a pedir un reembolso y dijo que lo estaban emplatando... vino y se equivocó de orden para el pan tostado. Preguntó a un miembro del personal que amablemente me dijo “estaban ocupados” (era 1/3 lleno en el mejor de los casos! ) 1 . 15 minutos por fin tuvimos toda nuestra comida. Evitar - el personal no podría importar menos y no tienen un cuidado en el mundo!

Visité con mi mamá y mi perro (ambos ancianos) para descansar durante nuestro paseo por la playa. El propietario era atento, educado y muy acogedor. Elegimos el té crema de la tarde @ £ 8 para 2 - un delicioso bollo de frutas con mermelada y crema más té. A mamá le gusta su café, así que tomó un aromático americano con crema que era solo el boleto. Disposición de asientos peculiar, limpio con un buen ambiente. Volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Bridlington. Gracias por ser amable con mi Staffie.

We had our exercise groups Christmas dinner at Holiday Inn at Tong yesterday and the food was very poor. The complaints were coming in from all tables. Me personally I ordered soup to start with which was very tasty but Luke warm, then my main arrived lasagna which was terrible. It tasted like they had used over cooked vegetables from the day before and made a lasagna with it. I couldn’t eat it at all. Another member of our party couldn’t eat his too. When we complained we were offered something else that the chef could make and then were offered the same lasagna again.Which was refused. This was my Christmas gift from the groups I work with and I left without any main meal. Other complaints were that their meals were too cold, the salmon dry, and the beef too chewy. this was not a nice experience and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The manager said she couldn’t offer a refund but offered free teas and coffees after our meal. I was not happy at all with how the manager dealt with the complaints at all. The manager also said they cooked the same meals for other parties and had no complaints! Making us feel it was us! Not even a sprout in-site on people’s Christmas dinner! Come on holiday inn, no sprouts on people Christmas dinner! 1 out of 10 and that’s for the posh hotel.

El café era agradable. La ubicación era agradable. La chica alta y desaliñada con gafas y el pelo largo y sucio colgando de mi café no lo eran. El ceño fruncido miserable, me ignoró, entró por la espalda, volvió a salir, sacudió algunas tazas, me ignoró un poco más. O la arreglas sola o la dejas ir, no está hecha para la hospitalidad.

Quite happy to accommodate bands and their followers who sympathise with those who lost the 2nd World war. Steer clear.

We went for afternoon tea, which was lovely. Really fresh and the tea or coffee is refillable. They change the menu seasonally which is great. Really lovely staff.

I regularly bob in either xscape or junction 32 Starbucks for a coffee! Lovely staff in both stores. Tasty drinks. Prices a tad expensive. Really happy they’ve brought the pumpkin spice latte back early from popular demand but charging £5.65 is ridiculous! You can’t justify spending that much on a coffee! Really not fair to do that to us customers.

What a lovely pub - with really nice meals. We stayed for a weekend in one of the dog friendly rooms and had a brilliant weekend. Lovely staff and very friendly locals. Bumper the spaniel was a particular attraction and made friends with our Labrador! This is a great location with lovely beach walks. A great pub to stay at for a weekend away.

Intenté tomarme una bebida y comer algo, conseguí una mesa que nos quitamos, pero todas las mesas alrededor del uso estaban cubiertas de platos sucios, parecía tan malo, decidimos no comer allí, solo tomar una bebida, debe haber estado allí, cuarenta y cinco minutos. y nunca fueron despejados

un gran pub! !!! hasta que nos echaron por jugar a los dardos literalmente sin razón! !! “usted puso los dardos en la encimera” mientras que hay unos 500 agujeros en la superficie - pub decente solo personal de mierda, no juegues a los dardos aquí a menos que si te gusta que te griten! !

They charged me extra and staff wasn't very friendly. Also the food didn't even taste good. Bad experience

¡Llevo mucho tiempo queriendo probar la envoltura de pudín Yorkshire! Estuvo a la altura del bombo (para mí de todos modos! Tenía el envoltorio de verduras y costaba 8 libras en total (no bebí ni nada más) (soy de Londres, así que 8 libras es muy barato para mí! ) Fui en la noche del 24 de abril de 2025, el chico que nos atendía a mí y a mi mejor amigo era muy amable. Está muy limpio en el pub, agradable y tranquilo (cuando fuimos de todos modos, estoy seguro de que debe estar ocupado durante ciertos momentos). La envoltura en sí era muy deliciosa (es muy desordenado comer, así que ten cuidado! ). Gran cantidad de verduras y buena salsa también. Recomiendo encarecidamente darle una oportunidad! ¡No necesité nada más en toda la noche así que me mantuvo lleno hasta la mañana siguiente!

Great for a casual meal - comfortable surrounds and great service from waitress Ori and cook John. We came for an early evening meal before going on to a concert.
