i got a southern fried chicken strip and it’s pink.

Booked an evening meal whilst staying in log cabin near by. Large portions of home cooked food, quick service and friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced, in fact we were surprised and were expecting to pay more for the quality. The decor is lovely as well, quite cozy on an autumn evening. Will definitely return next time we are in the area

We received our food promptly and politely, the bill was ok. Nice clientele. I would certainly use again. The premise is well decorated and you can use the hotel’s carpark.

I order a no 2 on the burger list witch state chick salad ,burger,chip and salad with when it come it was not a chick salad it was a tiny burger and abit of salad when it should be a chick salad witch is fault advised

Lovely selection of food on the menu, very tasty , clean and friendly staff. Would recommend a visit. Lots to try. Dog friendly.

Visited today for Sunday lunch and had the most beautiful cooked Sunday roast. The full trimmings and delicious gravy! Highly recommend. Lovely staff and welcoming environment.

Ordered double gin and lemonade and a pint of large for me and my partner....went out for a cigarette. Came back to our table to find our drinks gone.. pub policy apparently. Spoke to cal who was useless. £15 gone in the matter of mins, literally had a sip! Wouldnt replace the drinks. Would not go back, staff are not trained and canf be arsed to deal with thinks...Apart from adam hes lovely and bouncer wayne, he is amazing

Excellent time had by all.. food was amazing.. service was quick and Makenzie was great.. manager really helpful as he always is...

We had our engagement party here on the 3rd August, fantastic night had by all, buffet was brilliant everyone enjoyed the food, dj kept everyone on the dance floor, staff worked very hard making sure drinks kept flowing, overall a fantastic night would highly recommend for any functions. Thank you to all the management and staff for helping make our night one to remember.

Not as good as it used to be. Vegetarian breakfast was meagre. The description on menu sounded lovely but sadly the spinach and roasted tomatoes were miniscule. My sister had the lasagna with salad and the salad was literally a few salad leaves a piece of cucumber and tiny chopped pepper.

Absolutely shocking, ordered waited 50mins thought right okay it's not busy it's dead, to only receive a kids burger meal that was burnt and it was obvious I seen it soon as she was walking over, I don't know why they served it in the first place , and loaded fries without the meal waited another 15mins or longer went by I went to ask where the other food was and to replace the burger and why, waited ages again for the meals and even longer to receive an even more burnt burger and that was issue in the first place. Also ordered homemade chips to receive frozen chips on my plate then to be told they don't serve them haven't for a while but it still states it and pretty sure we were charged for it. Absolutely disappointed by all this! Honestly made a joke about going to the cuckoo oak at start of the night probably would of had a better meal.

I usually eat my Breakfast there and sometimes my Brunch time in the afternoon … But sadly to say when I get off from work around 3:00 PM they’re already closed … Nevertheless when I can manage to come b4 2:00 PM I would really enjoyed my lunch outside the perimeters … Kudos to all the employees there … They’re all attentive and friendly … Thanks for making me feel one of your valued customers …

Went for breakfast . Extremely slow service & something was definitely strange flavoured in the eggs . Sausages not good quality & coffee cold . Won’t be going again

Excellent meal, at good value. Lovely cheese scones & home made soup. The Antique centre above was also full of interesting pieces.

After having our main meal we decided to have a pudding. We approached the till but staff were talking or making their own drinks. Waited several minutes and were then asked what we wanted asked for a hot pudding and was told in no uncertain terms that it was 3.00 pm and hot food had stopped. It was just 3.00 pm but the fact that we had waited several minutes was irrelevant to the staff, there was no point in arguing because they were not interested. Be a long time before we venture there again.
