Tracey's Cafe in Nuneaton and Bedworth

I order a no 2 on the burger list witch state chick salad ,burger,chip and salad with when it come it was not a chick salad it was a tiny burger and abit of salad when it should be a chick salad witch is fault advised

This is a real cafe with awesome staff and a crazy massive menu choice I ordered the breakfast brunch it was fantastic and served so quick if you are looking for the best start to your day then this is the place Massive free car park

Gone downhill, changed chef or just an off day? We come here fairly often for the full English as it's always usually great. Big disappointment today, condiments on table all grubby, everything was overcooked as hell plus items missing. Hopefully was just an off day but it was also much more quiet than usual so who knows.

I moved to Nuneaton last year, but only started going to Tracey's Cafe in the last couple of months. I'm now going most Saturday morning for a cooked breakfast. Staff are always friendly and there's no real wait to be served or for the food to be delivered. Food is always of a high standard.

We have been to Tracey’s cafe on many occasions and have had to complain before regarding attitude of the very young staff. If you have any complaints regarding the food or portion sizes then the way in which you are treated is appalling. Today we complained as we received our food way after other customers that had arrived after us. We were given no cutlery as the staff member went on her break and then had to ask for our change as this was not being given willingly - all in all we were forgotten about because the young girl wanted her own lunch. When complaining we had rude attitude, followed by death stares and laughing from the other waitresses. The whole time we were there this continued every time they walked past us. The prices have recently changed and rather than wait until they closed that evening to put out the new price lists we were lent over whilst eating so they could remove the old price list and replace with the new. We asked for a break down of our order this time and we were overcharge on the chips charging us £3.20 rather than the price on the price list of £2.80 as shown the the pictures below. I know it’s only a small amount but if this was done to every customer along with people feeling bad having to ask for their change (and being laughed at when they do) the place would be making a fortune. Tracey has always been pleasant enough and it’s such a shame as Tracey your staff are seriously letting you down!!!!

Just sat waiting 20 minutes being ignored by waitress staff in favour of other customers who had arrived after me. Didn’t wait any longer and will never be going back. Often take colleagues for breakfast but never again after treatment like that

It is nice to go when you don’t feel like cooking. Pretty chill and I go quite often. Just have a look.

We waited over 40 minutes for Sunday roast. 2 beef and I chicken meal. 2 small slices of beef on the standard meal, frozen roast potatoes, frozen veg, frozen Yorkshire pudding and what can only be described as packet mash that was horrendously dry. The worse part was the frozen chicken portion that resembled an anemic looking lump of jelly. The middle of the chicken was still frozen. The response from the staff was 'oh sorry, here's your money back for the chicken dinner. As I refused for them to reheat this in the microwave and and bring it back. This place has gone downhill and we won't be returning.

A cracking greasy spoon, serving cash and carry breakfasts to a busy audience. We both had the English breakfast (pictured) for a good value £6.30. (Including a hot drink). So why’s it not a 5 star? Both meals not hot enough for both of us. Would return.

Writing as an experienced hotel and Fine dining restaurant manager you would assume that I would only be interested in high quality restaurants that overcharge and boast of their quality. There’s nothing quite like a good cafe that’s your first port of call whenever you fancy a lazy morning! Reading the negative reviews makes me question whether they went to the same cafe. Travels cafe offers high quality at low prices. Granted their produce most likely comes from the local cash and carry but business is business! My partner and aren’t regular visitors at traceys but they are always polite and accommodating. When we take the kids they will always customise the menu for them and are always on hand to help with our disabled daughter. The food has never been a problem. In fact I even managed to take on their ridiculously gigantic breakfast once! Pricing is excellent considering the increasing costs of suppliers etc, and while portions are large you definitely get value for money. This will be why it is always packed in there with workers and emergency service staff. In my opinion, the best cafe in the midlands and Warwickshire. Keep it up ladies!!

Very quick service and very well priced. Staff are always very polite and helpful. My only criticism is they are slow to clean tables. Many times I have had to sit at a dirty table with dishes etc on it as no other tables. I always have to ask someone to clean the table up. Apart from that just great.

Good value, plenty of meat and choice,my only disappointment was the mash tasted more like smash. Other than that it was lovely. Good choice of puddings and reasonable prices.

My first visit to Tracey’s Cafe in Nuneaton and what a joy it was for me and my wife and our friends with their three children. The staff, service and food were first class on all levels.

Been using Tracy's for years but the past 3 visits I've not enjoyed the food... I dont usually make a review but who can't make a tuna & mayo sandwich? The bread was soggy and it was really off putting seeing all that tuna on one sandwich!Won't be returning

Tracey’s Café may not be a Michelin star restaurant, but it is a perfect place to come with friends for a great breakfast! Good portion sizes for the price, and always lovey staff!

Just had a fantastic Sunday dinner as always followed by the famous cheese cake yum yum. See you next week

Always made welcome when our party of about 14 come after Friday tenpin bowling. The food s always good. Only place I know who cook steak to perfection, whether it me rare, medium or well done. Excellent value for money.

Cannot understand 3 reviews criticising Tracey’s especially as all three appear to have been added together!!

Heard so many good things about this place and went out of my way to try it. Not sure who wrote the good reviews as this place is nothing special at all in fact I now wish that I had gone to McDonalds instead. I had the jumbo breakfast which was not overpriced for what you get but was overpriced for the quality of the food which was very greasy and appeared to be re-heated. The place was reasonably busy and the atmosphere was OK, however could not help hearing the big guy behind the counter moaning constantly, think he must be the manager. Found it a bit off putting while eating.

I feel I must do this review in order to alert the management about the issues I and 8 others had on visiting tracies cafe on Sunday morning for 9 breakfasts

If you want a good hearty full English breakfast then this place fits the bill. Nothing flash about it but the food is good at very reasonable prices. Always seems to be full when we go, a recommendation in itself

Great food, great prices, great service. Would recommend the Farmhouse burger. We've visited on several occasions, today it was our sole reason to come out as he loves the Early starter breakfast and is a fussy eater = result!

On the A444 about half a mile from George Eliot Hospital and a mile from the traffic jam that is currently Nuneaton;Tracey's is well sign-posted with plenty of parking.

Once again a great breakfast and the café was the busiest I have ever seen it. Good food, good prices and attentive staff. All with free parking!! A great place for a great meal

Stopped here on Saturday 13th April around 1pm. Plenty of tables, service was excellent and restaurant and toilets spotless. Both had the English breakfast which was hot and plentiful. Highly recommended and will visit again if in the area. Tracey was very welcoming. Thank you

Often go for breakfast. Always good value for money & prompt as well as efficient service. Sausages could be better quality.

We attended here for breakfast as we were having our caravan serviced. The service was table service and very polite. The food was literally out in minutes piping hot and extremely tasty. I’d have liked my eggs cooked a bit more but that was my own fault as I didn’t ask. Excellent food great service. Superb value for money. If we’re in area again I’d head straight for this place. I saw reviews it’s like a transport cafe. I was saying to my husband that what a nice venue I wondered if they did parties as it’s got a licence. Really liked it. Cheap cheerful well worth a visit for breakfast lunch or dinner.

3 breakfasts Ok food but nothing special. I would guess this was a transport cafe at one point as it has that feel about it. I thought it was OK but wife and daughter did not want to go back as they thought the food was tasteless but you get what you pay for.

My friend and I went in yesterday never been here before . It was packet and it was late in the afternoon but found a table Staff friendly and helpful and.It was clean .The food is good as well .would highly recommend this cafe .Will go back again. A little gem of a cafe.

Great find thank you Trip Advisor. Desperate need of a breakfast and we found this, it was superb, we had the English Breakfast middle of the road size we could not even get to the toast we were so full.

Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome the breakfast are nicely cooked and they are a good size for the prices I have been in numerous times with my partner and will carry on eating at the this cafe

Friendly, great, honest food. It’s all you would want. We have just moved to the area and go often. Met Tracey at the weekend and she is a star too.

We travelled 3 hrs without a stop for one of Tracey’s breakfasts and a mug of tea. Good home cooking plenty of other choices for those who don’t want a breakfast. The grandchildren have been known to polish off a plate of food from the children’s menu.

A bit like going back in time when we walked through the door here. Basic seating and tables but well spaced out so you are not bumping elbows with other diners.

I’ve passed this a few times and always wondered what it was like. Now I’m kicking myself as I could have been coming here for years.

It's the best BLT I've ever had, on a HUGE bap, bacon is always cooked nice not overdone, just right 👍🏻 I find myself driving 30 minutes to Tracey's just because I fancy a BLT ... try it you'll love it 🥓

I visit this cafe often and you cannot beat the food, the portion size or the price, the place is always busy but always get served quickly. Definitely recommend.

TLDR: Busy as hell, staff couldn't cope. Food was frozen stuff from a supermarket, and delivered to the table without even a smile. Big portions but poor quality food. 1/5 don't recommend.

Party of ten of us went to Tracey's to celebrate Fathers Day . Dropped in everyone's order the morning before. Table was ready straight away and drinks and food followed shortly after. The breakfast was beautiful and service exce!lent. Will definitely be back .

Visited here last Sunday after helping my girlfriend move and needing something to sober me up. This place really did the trick massive portions of breakfast and really good quality food.

Huge portions. We have our bacon cobs here and they really can't be beaten. Good place and I highly recommend.

Always go here at least once a month for breakfast, it is the best place in nuneaton for a fry up! Great prices and really generous on the amount you get! Value for money and tastes amazing !

Situated on the A444 Tracey's Cafe isn't really a transport cafe as a HGV would have difficulty negotiating the car park, rather it's an unpretentious take on the traditional greasy spoon cafe which is becoming a rare sight these days. Popular with locals and the Boys in Blue (think they get a discount), it's always busy.

A visit to Nuneaton to see family and before going back to Devon a fine 5 star breakfast which kept us going untill we got back.

Love this place. Best brekky around. Bring my staff here. If you're not to keen on an item on the menu, then you can change it for someone else. A lot of trumping in the van after.

Great value for money. For them sort of prices you can’t complain. Can get busy especially on the weekends when people need a much needed hangover cure :)

Friendly staff lovely inside and best of all family friendly. Felt very relaxed. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Only downside my tea was a bit to milky would have been nice to have been asked how i would like it.

Ordered today a mega and jumbo breakfasts.Bot hmy wife and myself surprisingly ate the lot.

The breakfast here are fabulously large, fresh and fantastic value for money. I know a lot of people that go to Tracey’s and have never heard a bad word about the place. Sometimes there is a small queue for a table during the busiest periods but I’ve never waited more that 5 minutes or so. I was a bit apprehensive as a veggie that I’d end up with a slice of toast while my partner ploughed his way through half a pig but low and behold veggie sausages!! Very nice they are too. Highly recommended

A bit more up market than your normal traditional greasy spoon and do do a good range of meals and has a bar if you fancy a beer with your all day breakfast. I had the brunch breakfast which was ok but strangly does not come with chips. Not a bad meal but I have had better.

Following a heavy night and a McDonald's closure, went here to cure the hangover. First time for me and can say I was nothing but impressed. Great Breakfast, Great price & Great service. Granted the coffee isn't the best but other than that no complaints!!

The Wife and I have often driven by and noticed the car park always has plenty of cars in it. We decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed at all. We ordered the Jumbo breakfast and when it came with all the toast tea and a very large plate with a very large Breakfast just about staying on it. The Tea was nice and hot the meal was filling and the service prompt and polite. Will get another visit for sure. Has a good selection besides breakfast.

Fast service, generous portions and the food was HOT, even the peas. Not the most wonderful pies we've ever had (though the steak one was better than the chicken one). Definitely the place to go to fill up.

Only visited once but am planning to visit again. Seems to be an extremely popular place and very busy which is good. Both my wife and myself had the jumbo breakfast, very filling. The only fault on the menu would be the cheap/poor/flavorless sausages. Would be good to have an option on the menu to pay extra for premium sausages. Sorry.Service was good, place was clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

It's so good to find a place that steadfastly refuses to bow to the modern desire to homogenise every place to be the same. Tracey's Cafe provides honest to goodness meals and the breakfasts are legendary. Great value food served in a no nonsense way.

Why is this establishment so popular? Great concept of a traditional "greasy spoon", but the execution is very poor indeed with sub-standard food that's on par with a ASDA Smart Price range.We had a surly waitress who couldn't bring herself to smile at all. Our orders DID arrive quickly, but the sausages were so oily, they should have been washed with detergent before being served. The fried egg was thin, watery and second rate. The hash browns had spent too long in the fryer and emerged a few shades darker than ideal. At this point, I was wishing I had the stomach of Mr Creosote and the iron will of Superman to eat it.The toast and tea WERE good, but the rest ranges from the merely "okay" to the barely edible. Cheap portions of workaday stodge and gutless fodder to fill the gut. It was acceptable for the price, but not very good at all.However, she is doing something right judging by the packed car park and turnover of custom, so good luck to Tracey, but I won't be back anytime soon.

It was arranged that I would visit my son & family for the day.,He then suggested that we met at Tracy's, they had been a number of times before & really enjoyed the food. I love going out for breakfast & this was not a disappointment. Housed conveniently off the A444 in what looked to be an old Little Chef building Tracy's was very busy at 10.30 on a Sunday morning. The breakfast choices were all pretty much the same but with a difference in size. On my plate were 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, an egg, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, hash brown, baked beans & fried bread. This all came with a mug of coffee & 2 slices of toast! Phew, what a breakfast & mine was 1 of the smaller ones on offer. My grandsons of 4 & 1 were warmly greeted & had their own child sized breakfasts.A recommendation has to be that there were a number of Police officers in uniform enjoying their breakfasts. My son told me that the Police have been in whenever he has been there.

In my opinion the best greasy spoon around (although they do offer other meals such as Sunday dinners and steak, but they are best known for their breakfasts) Lovely family vibe, I visit here regularly and all the staff are really friendly. Prices are great, nice and cheap and you get lots of food for what you pay. The quality of the food is nice also, and they make a great cup of tea. They have a big screen also which I think often shows football matches (they also sell alcohol).

Had Saturday lunch at Tracey's Cafe. steak & Ale pie, mushy peas, & mashed potatoes.The food was hot, plentiful, & well cooked, the gravy served in a separate boat as it should be. Staff were friendly, no mid meal check to see all was well, but, it is a transport cafe being what it is, no complaint there.It is a little noisy, there is the smell of cooking food, I expect that, it is part of the character of this type of establishment. If one went to a chip shop one should not complain about the smell of fried foods cooking.It is a great place to eat it has it own individual ambience.Lord Brian Leathley - Andrew

We ate here for breakfast, and what I can say other than it was amazing! Food was cooked perfectly, it was hot and tasty! it was also at an excellent price! I would fully recommend eating here! We will be back, and will be trying the roast next!

If you are a lover of a good old English breakfast then this is the place to be. Great choice of different sizes of breakfast. I went for the "Jumbo" size and to be honest it was too much for me.Food is freshly cooked and is all very tasty.I had a cappuccino which was very good and all was very reasonably price.Cafe is nice and clean and staff are very.All in all I can't fault the place and will be returning

It was really busy when we went but the breakfast was Fab, nice and clean with no bits on the egg, and a good price as well.

Busy Cafe, cheap and fairly cheerful. You get what you pay for. Quick service, varied menu, Avoid the sausages they are very cheap and very poor quality. (Unless you like that sort of thing!)

Good food but very smoky smell to the place and lots of people hanging around outside wish was not good having to walk through them to get in. Good service though.

Called in this morning despite the storm "Doris" to find a fair few diners in there. Order was taken within a couple of minutes, followed swiftly by our coffee and toast and our English breakfast a few minutes later - lovely and hot! Friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. A "must" if you are in the area. Staff efficient and friendly.
