Great service and fantastic food. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Sunday dinner today at a very good price of 2 for £16 and kids for £5.Everything on the plate was delicious! The girls who served us very very polite and friendly, would highly recommend the George and dragon 2nd time we have eaten here in a week both times were great.

Excellent food, warm and cosy on a freezing night, friendly, efficient service, can’t fault the Greyhound at all, thoroughly recommend.

Chilli beef starter served cold, replaced then chicken skewer was cold and dry very disappointed to say the least spoke to the manager was offered nibbles and asked to pay for part of the food, which we refused to do. Special night was totally spoilt and will not recommend for food

Fabulous evening was spent in the upstairs room for my husband's 60th. The meals were delicious and all came out together. Drinks and food were served by efficient and friendly staff. Such a fun night. Thank you. x

Great place for a casual mid range meal. Good quality food with great service from the three staff that I saw. Would use this again when in the area.

I haven't been there, for quite a long time and needed a place to catch up with friends, so we chose the King's Horse. The food was lovely and we all had a great time. However, today me and my friends have received a parking charge notice of £100!!!! We are fuming 😤 I have never,ever been to a pub and got charged a fine for parking in their car park!!! The letter states there is signage, but we never saw and would expect not be allowed to park there, for the time we did! Staff should make customers aware!!!! Absolutely ridiculous and shall be posting on social media! We will NOT be returning there again!!

Table for 2 on a Monday evening, shown by staff to a small table at the far end of the restaurant. The food ordered was lovely, good portion sizes and reasonable prices. However, it was really cold inside the pub, unless you’re sitting in the bar near to the fire, so had to leave our coats on.

I went with my family we have a dairy free child a gluten free person there was. 6 of us the staff were very polite and helpful they accommodated for both allergies the gluten free took a touch longer which is acceptable as they make sure not to cross contamination the food the food was delicious and the cakes were delicious also. The staff were brilliant with us an excellent service

Went to the restaurant for a family meal. Having eaten at some of the best hotels in the world, and also some of the worst, I was looking forward to a good meal at a local hotel. The menu was extremely limited for vegetarians. I chose a Brie Wedges starter. It came but was very cool. The main course, a mushroom based dish came with a warm plate but was colder than the starter. I did send that back, as did several others of our party whose food was also cold. Eventually mine came back last. Lovely hot plate but lukewarm food. As everybody else had finished by the time mine came back, it was not ideal. The food was warmer but now overcooked. Could not eat all of it. Declined a sweet but had a coffee. Far too strong. All in all, for the prices they charged, it was a disgrace. It was a very poor meal. I expected much better. Cannot see me returning again.

Went for Sunday lunch with husband and friend. Beautiful setting and attentive staff. No starter but, however the main course was disappointing. The pork and mashed potatoes were lovely but have to criticise the rest. No carrots or parsnips, slices of stuffing and tiny bit of cabbage, cauliflower and beans underdone. The roast potatoes were small and dried up. Very tasty gravy. Husband said food not hot enough. Gorgeous sweet with many flavours and textures. Would return but not for Sunday lunch.

Well, what a surprise. We arrived well after lunchtime but before tea. The pub itself needs a good overhaul in terms of decor. Quite shabby and dusty. There was no one in the pub at the time, but the staff took our order, and it came quickly. What an amount!! I've never been defeated by meat until now!!! Hubby had a grill which was plentiful, and I had ribs. Little too much sauce for me but I scraped it off. It was tasty.. I took half of mine home! We will definitely revisit. Sunday carvery is supposed to be good....

Always value for money and good food. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Very popular and at times better to book a table.
