Welcoming friendly pub with a lovely added extra of the locals dogs that visit 💕 We've been a few times for family meals thank you Jamie for delicious food, the staff are wonderful, so helpful and nothings to much, a great atmosphere. The locals are all very welcoming. Thanks so much and looking forward to the next visit.

We are local living in the next village and invited some friends for Sunday lunch. We were horrified to learn that at 2.15 they had run out of beef and cauliflower cheese. They serve until 4pm. I then ordered pan fried chicken which was overcooked and tough, the portion was half a chicken breast. The roast potatoes were not roast potatoes very tough to get in to. The vegetables were stringy all in all this was the worst Sunday roast we have had and we eat out at least 2/3 times a week. Finally I do not mind paying for good food but to add insult to injury the food and drinks were overpriced. They are charging city centre prices. I will not be recommending this pub to all our foodie friend

Absolutely fantastic place to come and enjoy Nepalese food, I am a frequent visitor to the Morris Man, and the food is absolutely incredible, with great atmosphere and good service. The bar area has got a great atmosphere with a pool table and dartboard and three big screens to enable you to watch a great choice of football, or any sports full of great people. And the restaurant is a lovely place to go for a nice meal with friends, family or a loved one. I can highly recommend the mixed grills, they are fantastic, remember to ask a member of staff for what specials are on that time, because they also do a lot of things what aren’t on the menu, so please ask I have had mixed meat noodles, turkey bites, mixed meat wraps, curry goat and venison curry, which are all absolutely incredible

We have just moved in area it was quite obvious very local pub , when we went in for food ,loads of kids running havoc through the passage ways not anti kids but it was ridiculous. Felt if we had stayed for food it would have been a inconvenience on a Friday night, restaurant in darkness no atmosphere and you wouldn’t have wanted to eat in bar it was very busy no seats anyway.

Called in for tea 7ish or thereabouts, order placed but the chips were already in a try assuming they had been already cooked . Disappointed with the taste , texture and the sogginess of the chips. Prepared to wait for fresh chips as I waited for the other half of the order. Should be offered fresh or told already been cooked .

I do frequent the Beacon Bistro, it's very handy for work and their food is fresh, tasty and the staff are always smiling and happy to see you. I can't fault them at all, and would recommend the Bistro and the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Panini!!

What a lovely way to spend our Saturday afternoon. Lunch here was lovely. The only critique would be the amount of crisps. 4 crips was a bit poor! Other than that the food was delicious. The tea was very tasty too. I’m very picky with tea. But This was lovely. Staff were wonderful and was smiling and seemed happy which is always nice to see. We will be visiting again soon. As I very much enjoyed the peace and quiet away from main cafe/bars.

Pie night Tuesday. Service good and nice atmosphere. Pie was okay, chips lovely. Pub was more or less empty about 10pm, they were keen to hoof us out! Felt uncomfortable so we left. I would go again and try something of the regular menu next time.
