The Crown in Stafford

Best Sunday roast we have had at a pub for a long time! Choice of beef or Turkey, huge amount of meat, the beef was very tasty and tender, well cooked and good variety of vegetables, good service and the chocolate brownie was delicious, will definitely return!

What a fantastic little pub, great atmosphere and really friendly staff, the home cooked food was amazing and well worth every penny, I would recommend going to anyone, it’s really nice to see all ages welcome to a lovely village pub, will definitely be going more to support this fantastic little business

We have just moved in area it was quite obvious very local pub , when we went in for food ,loads of kids running havoc through the passage ways not anti kids but it was ridiculous. Felt if we had stayed for food it would have been a inconvenience on a Friday night, restaurant in darkness no atmosphere and you wouldn’t have wanted to eat in bar it was very busy no seats anyway.

Stopped overnight at The Crown Inn, Hyde Lea, just off the M6 near Stafford. Great location for travelling up north. Great host , food was fantastic. Large car park to use.

Our second meal in a week ( it is only a 3 minute walk from my house ) under new management since October 2023 and now doing proper home cooked food . Had the cod and chips tonight and I never order this when I go out . It was amazing . Huw and Karen are great very attentive to customers, service is great and all the staff are friendly . Can't wait for warmer weather and getting back in that beer garden .

Twenty of us stayed for team building trip - wow, brand new all, and staff bent over backwards for our every whim. Couldn’t have asked for more. O, and dinner was awesome- healthy and way nourishing (chatted with chef a bit about what went into my meal - just great!

Headed to The Crown for their Tapas night and it was absolutely delicious. So much food and for such great value! Best meal out in a long time. Highly recommended!

Called in today for Sunday lunch, with friends who live locally. Really enjoyed the home cooked meals, great quality meat and friendly service. Will definitely be going back. Thanks Andy

Anyone looking for a cracking pint of propper real ale look no further this is the place for you. Nice well kept garden

My wife Julie and I met with our daughter Claire and kids at this pub on Friday (18th) we had a great time.The food was really good atmosphere very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly, we will definitely be going back to The Crown, we will also be recommending it to others.
