Arrived, eventually got greeted and seated, then got completely ignored for the next 20 minutes before giving up. Can't comment on the food but not a great experience, especially given that we were there with tired children in need of their dinner and seeking the convenience of a restaurant next to our hotel.

Went for a quick bite to eat. On walking in there were only a couple of tables taken and all the rest were empty. We saw a lady in the distance and flagged her down. She asked if we had booked, we said no. She then asked were we staying at the premier inn next door, we said we weren’t. She then said we couldn’t have food. But why? Her actions seemed really odd. We told her we had stayed at the premier inn many times previously if that helped. Again she said no. We left utterly confused, so if we had booked or been staying in the premier inn we would have been allowed food?? But how is that different from just walking in? It’s a huge place and there myst have been 50 available free tables. It’s not like we wanted to make a night of it and have a long dinner with bottles of wine and candles! We literally just wanted a quick bite to eat, pay the bill and go. A very odd situation!!!

Ideal venue for breakfast, a first class buffet and friendly staff. Unfortunately the place closed to outside guests from 4 July 2024; subsequently i was told by staff that it will exclusively serve the gusts at the adjacent hotel.

Paid for meal deal with breakfast only to find out when I arrived the restaurant was closing next day and I was told very little food. Given a sheet with over 20 items not available. Why could I not have been told at time of booking so I could have picked a different location?

Popped in one sunday on the way to an event at the Stafford Show ground. Shown to a table straight away, and ordered at the bar. We both had a sunday roast, which was very good, plenty of choice and quite a plate full! Was really sad to hear that this restaurant was due to close, which was very surprising as there are two Premier Inns on the same roundabout! What will their guests do for food in future?

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Jane looked after me and my little boy like we were royalty! We felt very special and couldn’t have asked for more! I have given this place 4 stars - just. It’s the standard formula for this chain - the food is good basic ‘pub’ type food with a selection of burgers, lasagne, fish and chips, etc. It is next to the premier inn so convenient for those staying there. The service is very good with a friendly attitude “Rosie” and makes it get the 4th star. NB weekdays before 6pm mains are 2 for 1 from the shortened menu - bargain!

The food is always nice and affordable. Staff are polite and friendly, nothing is too much bother. They surprised my daughter with a birthday gift after one of the staff members - Abi -noticed her birthday badge - it made her night. They even made her a little card.

Fantastic food. Extremely tasty and eat as much as you want for £20 family of 5. They even let us take a boat load of croissants and muffins with us wrapped them up for us. Staff is a 5 star service. Jayne was exceptional. Defo recommended.

Superb service from all staff. Jayne made us feel so welcome. The food was excellent and all staff attentive without intrusive. If travelling up or down the M6, take the time to visit. What can I say other than first class, I’ve been staying in premier inn and have been in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner food always spot on and customer service is amazing. Had dinner here as staying next door at PI, and then breakfast in the morning, and its the breakfast that earns the very good 4/5 rating for the Redhill. OK lets start with dinner, we had both stuffed ourselves at Little Moreton Hall, so didn't want a lot, so both opted for tomato soup with rustic bread and some chips, soup was very good but came with not rustic bread but a slice of cheap pappy white bread, disappointing. I went to the bar and ales on handpull were Doombar and Tribute (I think), but neither were available the only thing going was an Atlantic Pale Ale which was ok ish, shame the others were not "on". Staff were pleasant though. Now breakfast, top notch, they had the "this isnt bacon" so made "bacon" sarnies, usual good PI brekkie, oddly they had a wholemeal rustic bread so where was it last night? Bit disappointed with this one! Husbands' mixed grill was nice but my spinach and ricotta lasagne was tiny and dried up. obviously spent a little too long in the microwave. The garlic bread was also tiny (little slice of a small french stick) and it was burned, and a tiny green salad , which I'm pleased to say wasn't overcooked! It was worse than a cheap ready meal and very expensive for the quantity and quality. Maybe good for grills but poor quality for vegetarians!

We called in last Thursday evening being peckish and found out it was grill night special wow what a bargain sirloin steak with all the trimmings plus a massive mixed grill all beautifully cooked a saving of £12 off menu prices no smaller plates everything exactly the same we could not believe our luck both for £20 an absolute bargain can’t wait till Thursday definitely going again plus they do special nights Monday to Thursday but I can’t get away from the mixed grill massive there goes the diet plus a mention for the staff all lovely service is quick and when they forget the steak on the mixed grill it’s like a bus another will be along shortlyreally enjoyed our night special thanks to ruby.
