The Wayfarer in Stafford

Had a lovely meal. Went with my sister and brother in law. The waiter was so lovely and accomadating. Would really recommend this restaurant.

Lovely vibrant restaurant. Food and drinks lovely. Our server was excellent. Very attentive and friendly.

Milly provided a much better service than Dave

I had a table for four on the 19th Oct 24.. the food was absolutely perfect, the staff are superb and I'd recommend the Wayfayer without hesitation. It has to be one of my favourite places to visit for a great meal out with lovely staff and ambience.

As always, lovely food, and great service. Lucy was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect!

Lovely atmosphere for a Sunday lunch, our waiter (sorry didn’t get his name) came to us straight away to take our order as they were running out of roasts and he wanted to ensure we got one! Our booking was for 4pm so maybe book a little earlier to make sure they don’t run out. Quality of the food was great. Overall a great experience ☺️

We came to the Wayfarer this evening for a few drinks to celebrate my mums birthday and we had a lovely time. The atmosphere was was enjoyable and our waiter Toby was brilliant!

Delightful to see different food on the menu from most other places. Everything cooked beautifully, good service.

We had a lovely table in a quiet part of the restaurant. For some reason we always seem to have the same table server - Dave who as usual was so attentive, very engaging and friendly which added to having a great time. The main course was disappointing, chicken panko was not just crispy but burnt around the edges and overcooked with very dry chicken inside. Another party member had the same issue, other people enjoyed their different dishes and the dessert was lovely.

Food was excellent though the calabrian pig pizza was the tiniest bit too moist. The service from Elisha was amazing. Atmosphere and decor was lovely and warm.

Great service, Harry was really on the ball 👍 Tasty food as always but the portions seem to be getting smaller as the prices are getting bigger. Would still recommend the Paragon chain regardless.

We heard lots of people talk about this place as in its somewhere special to go so thought we'd give it a go. Beautiful building and decor so first impressions were good, plenty of parking Had a drink in thr bar on arrival, seating space is limited not wasn't an issue. Tables aren't too close together in the restaurant and staff work hard and clearly take pride in what they do Food was slow to come out even though it was 3pm on a Sunday but the restaurant was busy and lots of large tables. I had the bacon chop. No veg, didn't realise this should have been ordered as a side. First few mouthfuls were nice, well cooked, but soon became very salty and not able to eat. would visit again but not order the same.

Food was nice but everyone's meal was cold, service was poor.

I ordered fish and chips. The fish was overcooked and chips cold. The second,replacement, was excellent and up to scratch if a little expensive. I do wonder why they put the pea puree and tartare sauce in such fiddley little containers. The menu has not changed much in the last few years, having said that it is a popular place.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon with my family celebrating my mums birthday. Shout out to our incredible waitress Lily! Lily was so accommodating to my 2 year old nephew and nothing was too much for her. Will 100% be back!

The food was nice but nothing special for the prices your paying. The building and inside was lovely but no heating so was freezing cold everyone had their jackets on, couldn't sit an enjoy the experience so was abit disappointed specially after 1.5 hour drive to meet up with family so we could have a relax and chat, we pretty much ate and ran back to the cars to get some warmth.
