The quality of food in here never disappointed me. Bit busy and little late to serve but nonetheless happy with the quality

Chilli beef starter served cold, replaced then chicken skewer was cold and dry very disappointed to say the least spoke to the manager was offered nibbles and asked to pay for part of the food, which we refused to do. Special night was totally spoilt and will not recommend for food

We attended for a private function, in the function room. The room was nicely decorated and the tables were set out well too. The food was lovely and the service was very good. In the lounge area it was nice and clean with a variety of seating.

The service and meals were all excellent, although the marherita pizza with pepperoni was a bit undercooked. We didn't have time to complain and everything else was excellent. Your staff even didn't serve one pizza as they were not happy with the quality. A sensible apology came too. Thank you so much for hosting the Jack Dulson Memorial Fund general meeting as well. Having somewhere decent to work is perfect. Ruby responds very effectively as well. Brilliant thanks!

Lovely setting. The waiting staff were excellent. Ordered a pizza for one guest but found the base was too thick. Not what was expected. The belly pork was very nice.

This was our first time to the Wayfarer, having been to the Orange Tree we had high hopes as the food has always been good. We had a Sunday lunch, the beef was great and tender, the roast potatoes were unbelievably hard; even our steak knives struggled, way past crispy just dry inside which was a shame. The staff and service was very quick so great if you want a quick meal, it did all feel a little rushed, from ordering starters they were on the table in less than 5 minutes. Overall a nice experience and will return.

Very friendly staff, the ambience and decor makes you feel welcome. I have a certain table which I am always able to be seated at with my friends. I have recommended the Wayfarer to many people who I know have visited and have told me they enjoyed their meals and had a great time.

Very good food, nice and tasty delivered all at once. Seabass was nice but for a skinny fish could have done with a little more. Staff were great. We were served by Milly who has clear communication and was prompt with drinks and clearing.

Milly was so lovely and helpful and made it a great experience especially for the large group of us and helped make the occasion special. Good value for money and food quality was brilliant!!

Excellent service at the Wayfair on Saturday, Dave was very welcoming and good humoured, and our food was exceptional

We ate here yesterday and previously the food has been really nice and competitively priced. We ordered the chicken ham pie with chips, x 3 and one burger as there was four of us dining. The fries were rock hard and pie consisted of a mushed up chicken & ham?. Quite bland in taste and one peice of carrot and one peice of brocoli. We complained and decided to leave the fries. Including just one drink each & sweet our bill was £120!!! So getting on for £150..before deduction which included £7 off for the fries refund and no gratuities. Atmosphere was lovely and staff great also but how can you justify the prices. Food quality and taste and volume amount was in our opinion very average for the price charged. Reluctantly won't be visiting again 😒.

Sunday roast was very tasty and had a great decent volume of meat. We had cauliflower cheese with it, which was very tasty too. Very nice atmosphere! We sat by the window and the view was nice too. Thank you x

Lovely Valentines evening with fantastic food and a friendly and warm atmosphere. Our server Cameron was incredibly polite and helpful, we will definitely be returning in the future.

I came here with my family to celebrate a birthday. Not only was the service fantastic but the food was extraordinarily good.

Also Lucy helped us when we arrived it was busy and she advised us people were moving so we could get a seat while we waited, we recommend here to anyone just for the service but the food is amazing here too.

Very professional, the food was lovely, popcorn chicken to die for - kids loved that as well as the pizzas amazing, Sunday roast was awesome, pies properly made - stunning selection of drinks, & the pizzas & ice cream for the kids were incredible - sticky toffee pudding amazing - defo be back with more of the family - the private rooms are lovely to - a real find.
