Great food and service, visited Friday night good was great and served in good time all hot and was very tasty. Staff friendly. Overall had a great time. Love the evening set menu it's a great price.

I have no hesitation in recommending the poachers cottage service excellent as was the food staff we're efficient and polite this was our first visit and won't be the last thanks for making our visit a pleasurable experience.....

Came in about 1pm this afternoon, I was ordering drinks at the bar and a kind lady named Annie was working on the bar at that time, she showcased her vast knowledge of drinks and gave everyone suggestions on what to order, working in a restaurant myself I can say that this place has a diamond of a staff member, brilliant afternoon with a few mates with great service, superb!

Nicola served us, she was lovely! The chicken skewers were lovely! The rocky horror was nice too Always nice food when we go

Izzy was a lovely waitress, our food came still hot and it was very nice. The pubs atmosphere is good too, it's not too loud but lively and the service was very fast.

The food was amazing, and the price was great for a family of 5. Was also able to use my kids' pass to get a discount. Only down side was waiting 40 minutes for our desserts.

Popped in for lunch, 2 x courses for £12.99, both had scampi. Only luke warm, chips dried up. Seemed as though been sat under heat lamp for ages. Poor average meal, won’t rush to go back. Gave partial refund as raised Complaint

They need to check their orders before serving them, and speed up their service. I don’t mind waiting for food, but 30 mins for drinks is a bit much.

Harriet was a lovely server, always checking on our table if we needed anything. She recommended the rotisserie chicken with the chicken gravy which was a fantastic choice I must admit. So thank you.

Our waitress Kallie was really very kind and welcoming and gave us great advice on what to choose. Food was delicious and the build your own ice cream was enormous!

It was ok... that's about it. The service was fine and there were some great characters near the bar 😂 The food was a bit disappointing really. The chicken was fried to within an inch of it's life and all felt a bit "pre made". The salad bar was pretty good (selection wise) and it was nice to be able to sit outside to eat.

Lovely restaurant just on outskirts of trentham gardens was lovely to stop here after a walk food was good great choice all you can eat salad with each main ordered could not fault it thank you we really enjoyed our meal

Our server Kelly was fantastic. She managed to get all 13 orders right and put up with our loud and annoying children

Salad bar was pretty good, and the burger was quite nice too. 3* knocked off though because there was mould on the bottom of the burger bun. I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil the evening (venue chosen by a friend) so I said nothing at the time. But honestly, what is going on in the kitchen if buns can be allowed to go mouldy? Some serious mismanagement problems there I reckon.

Lunch is better than breakfast here. The friendly staff made it a pleasant experience and Wiktoria was massively helpful and welcoming.
