Tonight Tim brought us the Pork special in breadcrumbs with veg, a bacon and mushroom risotto ,bolognaise and piquant prawn starters with a delicious creamy rice pudding for afters. All were hot and delicious. What a treat to have a home delivery and be able to enjoy food without the washing up.Highly recommended if you live in or near Ludlow. Thanks to Chef Nick, the lovely Deborah and of course, Tim.

My wife and I visited Ludlow Tuesday 26th March, beautiful day, a few more shut down shops since our last visit, but a lovely stroll around the town was rewarded by the welcome and choice of Gluten Free food at the Wesleys Cafe, at a generour price.. Lovely volunteers helping, having a chat updating us on Ludlow activities. Well worth calling again on our next visit to Ludlow.

We turned up during a busy lunch service to full tables, one of the two ladies running the cafe said to have a walk around the square and come back in 10 mins. We did that and our table was waiting for us. We noticed that they did that for several tables in the short time we were there, service was exceptional throughout. Our dishes arrived quickly and were beautifully presented, my crispy beef salad was delicious and had the Wow factor, my partner said his bagel and chunky chips were perfect. Gorgeous setting too and right in the heart of Ludlow. Only criticism would be the price of drinks served in a can.

A polished, elegant Afternoon Tea experience. Welcoming and professional team serving quality produce with a few tasty surprises. All presented with style and panache.

Not a bad pub but needs to have a warmer atmosphere, especially at Christmas time, not much in Christmas decor and the saddest Christmas tree I've ever seen with one string of lights and about 5 decorations. There were plenty of drink options but not a very warm, friendly welcome, I get that it's busy, but... as it's Christmas, I've been kind with the stars.

We called in here wanting a late lunch. We had homemade tomato soup, cheese sandwiches, egg mayonnaise sandwiches and a seasonal cranberry and brie ciabatta. Sandwiches were freshly made, we then had delicious homemade cakes as well. Everything was reasonably priced and very good quality. Other cafes in the area were very expensive, this is a real gem! The staff were really friendly and helpful. The cafe was cosy and all the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Decided to lunch here 20 Nov after browsing menu and seeing that the place was half full. We ordered, soup & a steak & onion baguette + 2 coffees. Soup was ok but the steak & onion baguette was rubbish . £14.95 and it consisted of a small baguette with three very small pieces of meat, one of which was just fat. Chips were ok but at £14.95 it was a complete rip off. We will most definitely not be dining here again and I suggest to any prospective diners, have a look around the town before eating here. There must be far better cafes in the town.

Given up ,no longer go into the conservatory due to the debacle that is ordering/leaving dog tied up !!! Decided whilst waiting for shop to open I would get a coffee from the pantry (as I had my dog with me )stood at door ,requested oat decaf cappuccino “ we don’t do oat milk” was the response Really !!! it’s all a joke now ,what’s happened to what was once a very special place to enjoy quality food and hospitality ?I have given up now.

Have visited many times for drinks and the odd light meal. The lunches can be a touch hit or miss, at worse they’ve been a bit microwaved. BUT THINGS HAVE IMPROVED. Our recent Sunday Lunch as a Family was simply perfection. Massive portions, reasonable prices, very friendly staff and customers. Happy atmosphere and felt very welcomed. Great gaff.

Had dinner with two friends on a Saturday night. It was quiet and we couldn’t understand why. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and cosy with a nice fire. The small team looked after us extremely well and we had a very enjoyable evening. My English friend was raving about the quality of the food, she said that it was exceptional for an English pub to serve such good food. We thought it was good value and a really nice experience. Thank you.

We didn’t have a reservation, it was a Sunday around 1 pm and they seated us quickly. Staff were very friendly and helpful however there was a distinct lack of the! We got drinks quickly however sat for over 30 minutes before someone finally came to take our food order . Food was fine . Upstairs room and view is pretty sweet !
