Fantastic meal and we were well looked after by stefan who was a great host and dealt with everyone well despite the bar being very busy.

Another excellent lunch at Queens , great food, friendly staff beautiful hanging baskets. We often dine here never disappointed and the garden area is a joy to be in.

Stayed overnight in Ludlow on our travels back to Manchester. Spotted the pub as we came to park up and we were luckily enough to manage to order food as booking is recommended. We stayed in the bar area as had our pooch with us however just as nice as the restaurant area. Also a large beer garden at the rear of the pub. Ordered creamy garlic mushrooms, fish and chips and chicken breast with tarragon and white wine sauce, new potatoes, green veg and asparagus tips wrapped in parma ham. All piping hot and delicous. Staff are lovely and prompt with service. Food and drinks reasonably priced and would definitely recommend a visit.

This place has a lovely ambiance, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The food we had was taste and service was excellent. If you get the chance to meet Clare behind the bar she will make you smile what a beautiful lady.

Fun little townie pub. Please do not visit expecting a full Gastro pub experience. The food is very much basic pub grub, but done well I must say. Bit of a townie atmosphere with a few rough looking locals. Staff took ages to serve us. Good central location in Ludlow. Worth a visit for a casual drink or two.

Staying in the area and found this pudding on trip advisor. Amazing Sunday lunch. Beef perfectly cooked. Vegetable were also perfect. Great selection and all lovely and hot on arrival. There was nothing not to love about our visit to The Queens in Ludlow, this afternoon. Everyone who works here is extremely welcoming, friendly, and professional. We were treated to an outstanding roast meal which was served hot and was extremely tasty - something only my wife is usually able to achieve! Local based real ales are kept very nicely, and desserts are also outstanding. Lovely ice cream and sticky toffee pudding. Thus, this lovely establishment is very busy so you will need to book in advance unless you are just visiting for drinks. All in all, both host and her team have done an outstanding job - we are happy to recommend The Queens without reservation.

From the time you walk through the door till you leave the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly in the bar area which is fab for our chilled out girl. Was advised that the food wait would be 20mins to order as they were busy cooking for 2 large tables,so we sat down with a drink. Before long they came and took our orders and didn't have long to wait for our food;vegetables lasagne(the best ever,packed with veg) and cajun chicken(mmm mmm tasty and very tender).Both served with side salad and beautiful chunky chips. A quick visit to the loo before the long drive home,everything was spotless and tidy. A wonderful pub with friendly staff,definitely visit again when we're visiting Ludlow. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Visited the Queens today for lunch two couples all enjoyed the food pipping hot and served by pleasant staff. The seating was great and the menu choice was excellent.

Went to The Queens on the recommendation of my sister. What a great restaurant. We had the Brie starter and shared it ( delightful and huge). Then I had cod on a leek and bacon sauce and husband had a burger. Both were excellent! After a delay - at our insistence-we had desserts. Who could resist sticky ginger sponge or apple crumble. Great food, good value, great service.

Lovely food and service and can’t wait to return. We are looking to book with yourselves next time and can’t wait for the spring/summer events to arrive in Ludlow. We love the brewery and the local ales you had on offer it was perfectly reasonable price also.

Highly recommend you visit. A great pub serving gastro pub food. A great choice on the menu and was nice to have a choice as I'm vegetarian. Very modern and clean inside. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I recommend you book as we went on a Monday and had the last table available.

We came for lunch today with our 2 young children, as soon as we walked into the building we were immediately greeted by a lovely lady that found us a table straight away. The food we ordered was all excellent but what really made the visit for us was how friendly and courteous all of the staff serving us were. Having two young children with us we needed additional bowls, plates etc but nothing was too much for the staff. Thank you so much for making our visit so enjoyable

Popped in here for dinner after a recommendation. Place itself seems more like a young persons type of drinking pub fruit machines and bright lights although the little dining area down the steps seems more cosy. We ate in the bar because we had the dog. Food was really nice and reasonable cost.
