A good size cafe with both a bright area by the entrance and a cosy dim area at the rear. Plenty of space and good Costa WiFi connection.

It’s not one of the best Costa stores and it’s a bit hit and miss, sometimes it’s great and other times the drinks are rubbish and staff can be rude

Went in for a drink with my partner and the drinks I had were not nice at all, we were hesitant to go up as we felt rude, but we did speak to one of the staff with glasses, she was quite rude and told us she can’t do anything about it and told us she was a trainee, thank fully when we did go up someone sorted it out for us. However this service is not acceptable and has put us off going back bc of this staff member now.

Went in and it was quite busy. Would of purchased something but the place stank like a sewer crossed with a open grave. I can't see how people were sat in the smell even though they were pulling their faces

The Toilets have been out of order for weeks..Get them repaired

We decided to drop in for a mid-morning break at around 10.00 a.m. The first thing we noticed was how busy the shop was. Consequently I had to queue for about 10 minutes. There were two baristas on duty. One was taking orders and the other was dispensing them. Just before my turn came two youngsters ordered some exotic chilled concoction and the barista apologised to me since she had to take time out in order to deal with that order. After receiving my order I sat down with my wife. The coffee was exquisite by the way. However, the next thing we noticed was that tables weren't being cleared. This had an obvious effect on some potential customers who entered the shop, looked around for somewhere to sit, observed the clutter and simply walked out. I cannot criticize the two members of staff since they were obviously rushed off their feet. The situation must be the result of company policy in utilising the minimum number of staff. Surely it is possible to monitor sales and employ the relevant numbers of staff required to maintain a pleasant customer experience? Not to mention the prospect of increased sales from customers who can actually find somewhere to sit!

Lovely place 2 relax & unwind was very quite as I popped in late afternoon with my son, treated him 2 the new hot milkshake 😀 absolutely 💯 divine they r im addicted2 them have mine made with Oatmilk, staff were so friendly & very bubbly especially the 1 girl who was talking 2 me, bless her she accidentally did 1 of my milkshakes the chocolate flavour till her colleague said it was 2 strawberries & cream, she was so apologetic & made another straight away 😀 so wht more could u ask 4 in service like tht 💯 spot on, will definitely b popping in again very soon as I'm a regular shopper in Bridgenorth lol 😆

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon, clean and tidy with very pleasant staff members, was quite busy inside but plenty of seating available, we only had drinks but the choice of food is the standard Costa food you expect in all branches, no parking immediately near the shop but a large car park is only a short walk away.

Great improvement, finally refurbished! Appears to be an issue retaining staff. Irregular supplies of food is disappointing. Edit: going downhill rapidly, can't retain staff and erratic food supply. Signs of bad management!

I'm afraid I cannot rate Costa coffee on this occasion, as the staff 2 of them we're under so much pressure to serve customers they had no chance to clear tables we ( customers ) were having to move trays from the table for seating ourselves waiting times we're much longer than usual. The 2 members of staff were working as hard as they could .

Some good staff and service but quality of coffee is inconsistent .

Not very efficient staff two of my drinks were ditched on someone else's tray (which had their food on) my drink got lost in the shuffle you have to ask for the WiFi code but they are so all over the place you couldn't find anyone to ask my "hot" drink was at best warm when they remembered to make it for me the customers are lovely

That was the worst costa I have been to so far, no communication between staff, and they should learn how to make a large latte.

Went into costa the other day, was appalled by the attitude of a staff member by the name of Arun, I also heard him speak to one of the staff members in a horrible way, not acceptable behaviour, really disgusted.

Incredibly slow service, all the tables were full of used cups, plates etc. Expensive.

Service was great but loads of tables with used crockery ect. No one clearing tables. Left a bad impression of not caring about the state of the coffee house. When we left no staff behind the counters or staff available to serve or clear tables.

All ok, toilets no paper so not checked. Drinks and food nice

Massive queue. Loads of staff behind the counter who didn't seem to have a clue what was going on. People had to remind them what they were waiting for.

The breakfast is the best in town

Came in today, as we do whenever we visit Bridgenorth,even though its not the best Costa we use, for a couple of coffees. I asked for some teaspoons as none were provided for us and was told in quite a poor manner that they hadn't any and to use a wooden stick stirrer, no apology was given. The other member of staff was equally sarcastic about it, l didn't like how l was spoken to as l had only made a polite request. Will probably not visit here again even though we love Costa, very disappointing.

Bit slow service and closing early result in us feeling rushed.

Probably one of the worst customer experiences ever. Staff overcharging, admitting that overcharged, but you can’t have a refund, due to the managers out shopping. This is on top of telling my wife she ordered the wrong drink when they gave her a Blueberry Bubble Frappe, when ordering a Mango Bubble Frappe then point blank telling me (the customer) they do not do such a thing has a Mango Bubble Frappe = 3 foot advertisement board in the doorway saying different. Plus serving the drink with the wrong straw. So you cannot enjoy the experience. Just a very very poor service

Recommended place to have your meals with great service and food

Pleasant enough Costa, makes good use of the space available with lots of tables tucked into corners and nooks. Friendly staff and my tea was nice. Toilets were clean too. Only downside very slow service, even on a busy Saturday standing for 20 minutes in a queue to get a drink is just too long. Costa HQ, maybe try to get more staff to this branch? It's nearly excellent, but the wait lets it down a bit.

Food is standard Costa produce. Not the best, but not the worst. Slow service when compared to other Costa stores. Clean and tidy customer area.

Ordered oat milk, was given semi skimmed milk, took it back... Still wasn't oatmilk (it was "ultimate milk"), disappointing

Took 30 mins to get 2 coffees while staff discussed social life. Only 4 in queue. Tables overflowing with used cups and plates. Took over an hour for someone to do anything.. Visited many times over several years but service and mess is currently unacceptable. Will go elsewhere for coffee in future.

Most helpful staff and lovely chai latte

I was in the queue at least 10mins and I was nowhere near being served so I gave up and left. Came back 30mins later only to find it was no better than before, but waited because I like my cappuccino. The staff are not the ones at fault here! You’ve one person taking the orders and preparing the sandwiches and one making the drinks and then the other washing up and tidying the tables. You’ve heard the saying women can multitask, well their employers are taking the P…!

What can you say about Costa Coffee that hasn't been said before they are all the same lovely food, drinks and I don't think I have ever met a miserable member of staff they are all very friendly and helpful meaning we will still look for a Costa Coffee.

Costa Bridgnorth. At least half the visits the scanner isn’t working so you cannot get a loyalty point, sometimes the credit card reader isn’t working. Today we had an offer for a free cake but again scanner not working and offer expires soon. And just for good measure the toilet isn’t working either. Not surprising the place is nearly empty.

Could do with someone to taken away the used cups any saucer doesn't look good with a few tables covered in dirty cups ect

Lovely Costa building... Extreme nice, helpful and nice staff... Bit the hot chocolate wasn't as good as normally is... And the marshmallows were outside the cup

Nice coffee and toast as usual, only downside was alot of tables were full with used trays and crockery so was not easy to find a clean table.

Great team work from start to finish

Normal slow service, their disabled loo very difficult to enter in a wheelchair, and even more difficult to get out of. This is not the only Costa disabled loo that is virtually impossible to use in a wheelchair.

Lovely friendly staff ,and dog friendly

Sat in here working away, and witnessed some of the most caring service. Mark the manager and team are so accommodating towards their customers. Opening doors, making sure all customers find a seat, and bringing drinks over to people that can not always carry them. I don’t think service like this existed, yet alone in a national chain like Costa. Well done Mark and team.

Really good service, there are a couple good spots for food and drink in bridgenorth but the most consistent in quality is this Costa. Wheelchair accessible, warm, very friendly. Recommend!

Dirty, derelict building - boarded-up! The staff are pleasant and chatty but the queue is still a problem - with no social distancing and too many parents with badly behaved loud children... Toilet was spotlessly clean today great for my elderly disabled companion

Usual offering from a Costa, but the location and friendly staff make the difference.

Firstly, the staff are great! Friendly and caring and really do their best. Costa or should I say Coca Cola, you really need to do a lot better. You have 3 dedicated staff members working a busy Saturday lunch time with no help. It’s not fair on your staff and it’s not fair on your customers. The decor is old and tatty. The lighting is poor and gloomy. The whole place is dull and miserable. I came here for a coffee because it’s the only cafe in town that had empty seats - that tells you all you need to know.

Your standard type of Costa, although not a huge fan of Costa coffee, they are everywhere so very convenient to use they're facilities. Male staff member was particularly friendly and accommodating. Good service.

Been in this morning very rude staff

The staff and Management in this Costa are allowing a youth club to sit on the settees whilst drinking cans of pop bought elsewhere. They haven't been asked to leave, despite being noisy and not having bought a single drink between them. I don't want kids messing around in a group when I come in for a relaxing coffee. They have allowed kids to take over the end of the shop and have done nothing about it despite my complaint. Kids have nowhere to go, iunderstand that, but messing about in Costa shouldn't be allowed.

Really disappointed in Costa Bridgnorth I have always been a regular but I'm thinking it's time to go elsewhere I was in the store at 1pm there were only 3 members of staff working the store was busy. 1 member of staff was serving 1 was on the till and 1 was replenishing the cakes and stock. They all looked worn out and the looked understaffed as the tables were full of leftovers from previous customers. The annoying thing is I saw the manager take one look of the queue and went on their break and sat with a friend.I don't feel that's right when a store is really busy. I can understand why this store has a high staff turnover.

Big coffee shop ideally located by cliff railway. Friendly staff. Also very handy for the Saturday street market.

A goo place to stop for nice cake and a drink. Service always a little slow, but the size of the store limits how many staff can serve. Clean, busy.

We had to clean our table before sitting down for a coffee and food , looking around the place was dirty , at no time did any staff clean the tables after people left and others arrive , not good in COVID times , the place would benefit from a deep clean , the staff said the dishwasher was not working and that's why the drinks had to be served in disposable cups ,

Visited this Costa today 22/10/21 and very disappointed on the attitude of staff and the distinct lack of cleaning and sanitising of tables. On entering we approached a table with two lots of dirty cups on trays, a member of staff told us that he would clear them, which he did immediately, but he didn’t come crack to clean and sanitise the table for us. Luckily I carry a small bottle I’d sanitising spray and cleaned it myself. While this was going on my Husband went to order the drinks, and asked for a mocha latte which is no longer on the menu, but lots of Costas still make it if you ask. The cashier said nothing about not being able to do the drink and took the payment, only when the drinks were being made did the problems arise when my husband was told that they didn’t do that drink, also he asked for the drink to be in a glass and this request was ignored and advised that a mocha is served in a cup. In the end he did get his drink in a glass, but not without some words being said. This is not the first time we have had bad service from this Costa and needless to say we will not be giving them our custom again. I think some training on customer care and Covid cleaning procedures is urgently required at this establishment.
