Lovely Breakfast Enjoyed a full English and vegetarian breakfast. Clean, friendly, nice atmosphere. Would definitely visited again, disappointed they were closed on the Sunday

Flat 1 - Without a doubt the best apartment we've stopped in the UK. The standard was superb and the decoration beautiful, I felt like I was in an high end boutique hotel. The shower needs it own mention, I didn't want to get it out it was so powerful. The apartment was perfectly placed to get wherever we needed to go. We used the restaurant for a full English breakfast that was delicious, and we sat in the stunning garden late afternoon for a glass of wine. It was also hands down the best value for money apartment we've stopped in. Definitely recommended.

Booked a last minute brunch at Kin Kitchen after reading other reviews here and it did not disappoint! Out of the back of the cafe is a lovely garden where we enjoyed local produce with good service and very reasonable prices. As regular Ludlow visitors this is a great addition to our favourite food/drink haunts!

We stayed here for a couple of nights with family in the 2 bed apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated and practical at the same time. There were 2 bathrooms. The en suite had a lovely big bath. There was also a separate shower room. The windows overlooked the beautiful garden. We could all have one free tea or coffee every day from the cafe. We had breakfast there and the pancakes were amazing. All the food is so fresh and healthy. The kin kitchen is in the centre of Ludlow so an ideal place. We couldn’t come on the first night as a family member was taken ill so John kindly gave us the night after so we still had the 2 night stay. Thankyou John . We will definitely stay here again if we return to Ludlow.

Cute venue and we were instantly attracted to it. Quite decent coffee. Our brunch was all a bit average. It’s an ambitious venue but to us it fell short of the mark. It may be that the staff are slightly inexperienced. It’s not their fault but it all felt a bit touristy to us. Probably wouldn’t really recommend.

We stopped here twice, once on our way from Malvern to Oxford and a second time on our way from Oxford to Holyhead. It was that good! The food is really good, using mainly locally produced ingredients or items from their own kitchen garden. Service is good and the surroundings in this recently refurbished 17th century building are excellent, with the tables outside particularly good in warm weather.

I've visited Kin Kitchen twice for Brunch in May and was really pleased both times. The first visit was the same weekend as the May Fair, they were open nice and early for some coffees for me and my friends after travelling up the evening before. Staff were friendly and even helped me open the door with the coffees I was carrying - the first impression was so strong that my friends and I scrapped our initial breakfast plans and went here for brunch instead. Things were a bit busier once we returned for food, but still plenty of open tables amongst those with reservations. Service was good, perhaps a little long to take our orders but not excessively so for people new to the cafe. Our drink orders arrived quickly, and the food wasn't too far behind. On my second visit I had pre-booked a table, we arrived early and our designated table was still occupied, but we easily found seats elsewhere and the staff re-arranged the table markers accordingly. This second time we were sat in the back section so could see the lovely garden out the back - service here was perhaps a little slower but still very good, and the food and drink were brought out more promptly so that worked nicely. On each visit the food was really good, I opted for the Ludlow Breakfast each time and was not disapointed. Considering I call myself a carnivore the highlight for me (outside the bacon which was perfect) was the bread - really thick and covered with the perfect amount of butter. Kin Kitchen is conveniently located just outside the main area of Ludlow town, so easily accesible from the various parking locations found on that side of town - even coming from the castle side Ludlow is small enough that this is a convenient walk from almost anywhere! Staff were friendly and inviting, and given the local produce the prices are reasonable. I will certainly come to brunch here again, or even just pop in for a coffee.

Handy location just 100 yards from our hotel we decided to breakfast out. Very nice family run cafe/restaurant. Simple decor, young friendly staff. The food was delicious - we both had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on beer bread, really good. Glad we tried it.

Kin Kitchen self catering apartments are a fantastic place to stay in the middle of lovely Ludlow. They are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We stayed during a freezing cold snap but were cosy and warm. We were a group of 3 couples so had an apartment each and were all delighted with them. John and his team couldn’t be more helpful and friendly and we enjoyed excellent food choices downstairs in the cafe. A council car park is available nearby at a cost of £4.80 per day.

Came across Kin Kitchen by chance - surprisingly busy for a spot off the main square, but realised that's due to the excellent food, pleasant staff and really charming venue (especially the garden). We had Whitby crab and quisedillas - both delicious. Portions are not huge - but elegant and well-presented food. Lots of locals there, not a tourist trap at all! Looking forwards to going back next time we visit Ludlow.

We had our works Christmas do here for 30+ people and we stayed the night. Front of house staff were lovely and welcoming, but that is all I can really say nice about our stay. Our room was like something out of the 70/80s very twee and old-fashioned. Quilt cover had a rip in it. Bath looked old, faint smell of cigarette smoke. No soap, shower gel etc in the bathroom - to help save the planet apparently - you could request some at reception. We were woken about 6am by what I assume was some kind of water cistern behind one of the bedroom walls that sounded like a plane going over head. The party. Arrival time was stated as 7pm and most (about 180) turned up about then. We were all crowded into the bar which wasn't big enough and soon warmed up to a very uncomfortable temperature. They eventually let us in at 8pm. Drinks were astronomically expensive - £7.50 for a pint £8.20 for a Baileys or a large glass of wine (£25+ by the bottle) and £7.20 for a pint of coke!!!. The main course wasn't served until after 9pm and my beef was dry and tasteless, though others who had the turkey said it wasn't bad. And my Xmas pudding was dry too. All in all not somewhere I would ever go again and certainly don't know where it gets it 4 star rating from. I did voice most of my complaints to reception before leaving.
