Every course was very good or excellent. The menu was creative without being over the top. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed.

The girls are always friendly here as food cooked fresh I always call up and my food is waiting when i arrive Come here weekly

Lovely pies packed full with fresh ingredients. Would highly recommend! Thank you for the Iced Meringue for my 2 boys, a lovely treat. Will be back soon!

Quite possibly the best meal we have ever had and we've had Michelin tasting menus a few times across Europe. Add that the staff and venue itself it is the best value we've ever had.

What a wonderful night for a 21st birthday! Sinead decorated the room beautifully for my daughter and the food provided by Chef Stack was simply divine! Don't hesitate if you have an event upcoming and are looking for a room, you can't go wrong with The Crown! Sinead and the rest of the team are wonderful! 10/10 from me!

We visited here for the first time with friends last night. Was superb from start to finish. I had the king prawns and scallops as a starter which were amazing followed by the chicken … another delicious dish! We shared a pudding and it was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. Melt in the mouth sticky toffee pudding. The service was excellent and we can’t wait to return after the refurb. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Great pub, the food is stunning and home made, the beers lovely and Very well priced to, the live music makes for a brilliant evening, can’t wait to go back.

Second visit to this lovely restaurant,went with a party of 6 last night and really can’t fault the place,the guy who runs the place is so friendly and humerus and really can’t do enough for you,the food was superb and considering you’re in the centre of Lichfield the prices are very reasonable,we said we were going to a show and he made sure that we were served within plenty of time.Would highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back in a couple of months when we will be back to Lichfield

Fabulous Sunday lunch. Food is back on in this great village pub. Service is great, food is really good, staff are friendly, dogs are welcome and value is just right. We had the Sunday roast beef and apple crumble for aftershock and it was spot-on. Well done Jon & Alex, Evan and the team.

Never ordered a rump sandwich before as I find it too chewy but today at the drill was not short of a revelation it was beautiful and the accompliments also the wine too . I'll definitely be goin back ..ps great staff 👍🍺

My friends and i went for lunch today and all had cheese toasties the bread was the worst for toast they were all rock hard so couldnt eat much of it so wouldn't go back again
