Good chip shop, quite busy but worth the wait.

This was our first visit to Ye Olde Dun Cow but we will certainly be coming back. Set in a lovely location just outside of Rugeley in Colton, the restaurant has a cosy welcoming old world feel, but what really stands out is the exceptional service and tasty well presented meals. Prices are more than reasonable too.

Booked a table which was waiting for us when we arrived and we received a very warm welcome. When the steaks arrived, they had not been cooked as requested and the waitress took the steaks away, then the chef or manager came out to apologise. We did not have to wait for long for our new steaks to arrive and this time they were perfect. All the staff at the pub are lovely and we will certainly be returning.

Great weekend of music for st patricks weekend. Monday night was good and they even put free Irish stu which was great . excellent pub.

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch, and will be returning for sure.

Been for an evening meal when passing. Really good food, we all had both a starter and main course, and some nice beers too!

Wonderful breakfast with my sons and little dog this morning.. Cold in there as no fire on today but wonderful friendly attentive smiley chatty staff, very welcoming and good variety for breakfast, good fresh quality produce beautifully cooked and presented and good portions. Can't fault it at all.

Went last Saturday (booked that day). Great surroundings. Staff were exceptional, food and wine great as well. Really recommend.

Been this afternoon with some friends. Staff blatantly ignored us waiting to be served. Even someone else at the bar said we'd been waiting for ages and were being ignored. Never been made to feel so unwelcome by staff. Never again.

A warm welcome + lovely log fire. A delicious lunch with lots of gluten-free options. The Red Lion is consistently excellent.

Lovely pub and the staff provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. The food was lovely and was not disappointed on my first visit

Went here today, food was not good. Lamb shank was microwaved had to use a steak knife to cut it, mash again microwaved. My son had a burger and even he didn’t eat it, again microwaved. Would never try food here again nor recommend it. The menu looks like it hasn’t been changed in 2 years maybe there still trying to perfect it! But I won’t be there to find out if they do.

Visited this evening. The place was exceptionally clean with an extremely pleasant atmosphere, we experienced amazing customer service from all staff. A delightful young woman named Elissa was our server. She was extremely enthusiastic, polite and helpful throughout our whole experience. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the menu and recommendations. Our food and drinks were served promtly after ordering and did not disappoint. Great food, service and atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend the Redmore enough. Thank you all for a great evening

Visited today for Sunday lunch and had the most beautiful cooked Sunday roast. The full trimmings and delicious gravy! Highly recommend. Lovely staff and welcoming environment.
