Outstanding food and superb service from the staff. Abi was a star. The pork belly was to die for and the chicken skewer perfect. Cheesecake to finish. Bostin.

Called in on chance when walking along canal. Really excellent, very friendly & helpful service. Menu great GFA options, with plenty of choices across whole menu. Definitely recommend.

Very disappointed, normally excellent. Birthday lunch, food wasn’t up to the usual standard, asked to vacate the table after 90 minutes. Won’t be back in a hurry

I am a regular at the pub, I have to say I always leave good reviews, but this one isn’t . Food was poor , steak tough , chips cooked in old oil so not good , waiting times an hour between courses and smaller portions than usual , I won’t go back

Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired- would not recommend. The cauliflower cheese was still frozen- when we told this to the staff, we only got an ‘oh no’ comment. Wouldn’t waste your time on a visit.

Went last Saturday (booked that day). Great surroundings. Staff were exceptional, food and wine great as well. Really recommend.

Top pub - great real ales, kept well.

Lovely laid out space, friendly helpful staff. We ordered the pan seared hake and shelfish broth. Sadly it sounded very nice but turned out to be the opposite. The broth was tasteless, the potato rock hard the vegetables warm and raw.
