Food is lovely , would recommend highly. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Service with a smile and informed of any relevant vouchers available to use .

We arranged a party of 25 people to celebrate a special birthday and were accomodated with all of our requests by the manager Susan including having a special area for our group. We had a great time and were particularly well looked after by Emma who dealt with all of our meals and drinks. We would definately do this again as everyone had a great time. The decor and atmosphere were fantastic and this is the best value for money venue for many a mile.

Friends and myself visited this establishment for Lunch. The Manager was very welcoming. Our member of staff Lyle was very pleasant and the service from him was good. The food we had was nice the salad bar was clean and fresh. We had the 3 course lunch menu the portion sizes were good .

We've been visiting here so often we get greeted with a hug by some of the team. Today, we were here for dinner (or tea) depending on where you're from. The service was, once again amazing, but that's because a certain member of staff WASN'T on. We we're served today by Tash, Nile and Neva. All greeted us like old friends, with smiles on their faces. Nothing was to much trouble. As always, we'll be back. 10/10 from me. And hubby.

Food was ok. Some of the customers touching food on salad bar and bread roll station, needs policing. Jack the waiter was good.

Not good at all. If you like average food then it might be for you..... From the Ultimate combo....which was super costly.....26.79......half a chicken not tasty, Chicken wings not tasty. Sweetcorn on the cob was dry and unappealing. Nice pork belly and ribs....but which Pork belly and ribs isn't tasty? seasoned chips were decent. You used to be able to go to The Harvester and get that salad bowl straight away, not now. Because of deceitful customers you have to sit and wait now until you've ordered which sometimes can be a while unless you prompt them. So your left hungry. The so - called lunch menu is deceitful. You think it's 13.49 or 15.49 but there are restrictions. Had to pull them up on that before paying. Tell me what is restricted before not after. Sat down at 14:45pm didn't get food till over 40 mins later. There were customers but not over flowing. I suppose you do get the salad bowl to tide you over but the wait was too long. You can end up stuffing the salad bowl in which can ruin your main. They don't seem to have enough menus either, they nick them off you to give to new customers entering. The one guy understood any of my concerns about the lunch menu but the lady serving wasn't on the ball. Took our payment and just scuttled off with out a bye or leave. Being robotic and not sincere asking if your meal is ok before you've finished doesn't cut it. Also walking off before we get a chance to order just makes me wanna balk. Yep...balk. You can guess if I plan to go back or not. Lunch menu 13.49 x 2 ONLY once having to challenge them NOT being able to get a Baileys coffee as part of the deal and if you don't have a dessert, or coffee/drink because you can't get your Baileys you get charged full price for whats supposed to be a lunch menu deal . £26.49 for the ultimate "MID" combo. Two orange juices 3.15 x2. Total £60.07 for what I could have cooked up better at home for £25. And I give great service to my customers who eat with me. Small print might be on there for the restrictions but I AND most others don't care for small print when eating out.

I had a lovely young lady serving myself and my husband today Sienna, she seemed genuinely concerned about our wellbeing and feelings as customers and it's nice to see . Great service .

The pub has a very welcoming feeling. Was busy but didn't have to wait long. Food was great. Would definitely recommend.

I visited with my friend and his son on our way to Cadbury World, and what was intended as just a quick stop for lunch was turned into a fantastic part of the day by our server Natasha, and her open, friendly and professional demeanour and service. The food was great too. Thank you.

Awful food. I ordered simply chicken. I was given a steak knife to cut the chicken but the chicken was so hard, the knife wouldn't go through it. It was not fresh chicken. I suspect it came in a pack of 4 from the freezer in a local supermarket. The waiter took the price of the meal off the bill. I ate the salad from the salad bar. What a disappointment.

Every time we come to the harvester - Bassetts Pole, we are met with such a warm and friendly welcome. The food and decor are top notch, and always leave us wanting to come back for more! We got served today by Emma, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. A combination of both engaging in friendly dialogue whilst maintaining a professional work ethic. 5*/5*!

A nice meal ruined with a terrible attitude when paying for our Bill. We were served by Bev throughout who must have felt like she deserved a tip. We chose not to leave a tip and because of this our receipt was chucked onto the table and she just walked off without a thank you, good bye or anything. This made us feel very uncomfortable. As someone who works in the service sector myself tips should be appreciated when given for excellent service, but never expected.

An OK experience , we hadn't booked so had to wait 25mins for the table and then another 30 to get our food

Our waiter, Gary was brilliant. So good with the kids and really attentive but not overbearing. Food was lovely and all served really quickly. Left a happy and full family.

Went with my granddaughter for a meal, only had a main, the fish was small but the battery was huge, mainly batter, and fish was had at the ends, did not complain, went again last week and had a burger, this was excellent, free salad for those who like, granddaughter had a small pudding this was OK. We visit again but will not be having the fish,

We visited the Bassetts Pole Harvester last night and were served by Jack. What a lovely lad, fantastic service, attentive, chatty and overall made our visit a really positive experience. We will be back!

Not been to harvester for a good few years and we were so happy to come back and find the food and service is top notch. I visited with my wife and 2 young children and everything was brilliant. Special mention to Gary for being such a top bloke!

The pub was brilliant we came for a birthday meal staff were friendly and really helpful we have 2 disabled children and it is really accessible we all enjoyed our meal the food was amazing and came out quickly we will definitely be visiting again thank you for a relaxed beautiful meal

Salad bar was better than it used to be. Our server wasn't very helpful, service from him was slow, he didn't asked how the meal was so I told him mine (gammon) was very chewy and mostly fat and grissel and he said nothing in return.

Well this a nice place we'll situated for passing trade. I can't comment on the food in general have only had big breakfast ,it was OK , the staff was very attentive service is at the table.

Good venue recently upgraded with modern features. Nice venue, more staff than previously makes service quicker. At weekends and peak times, you need to book on the app. otherwise, you run the chance of being turned away as they are totally busy. The food is good and has always been hot on all visits recently. The company app is significantly better, and further improvements are coming, the staff told me.

BEWARE DO NOT GO!!!!! Use the Boldmere or Greatbarr!! We have just had an awful service tonight , wait at the bar for 15 mins with the under Trained staff not caring. Then what can I say the food was cold , steak over cocked like a tornado had gone off for a medium rear and the salad bar was absolutely abysmal. Then when we past comment to SUE the MANAGER , basically she has No customer service skills and said if you don’t like it go else ware!!!! Please unite and do not use !!!!!! AWFUL

Nice food but very slow service. Also the atmosphere is quite noisy which can be hard to hear yourself think.

The refurbishment has made a very welcoming atmosphere. Both the lady on reception and our waitress were very polite and friendly. We were served quickly. The salad bar had an excellent choice. There was a large choice of dishes for the main meal, all of which were hot and delicious. As frequent visitors we will certainly be back.

Our party of nine had a wonderful time yesterday. The friendly service provided by all the staff was exemplary but special mention to Gary who coped with several change requests to the menu with charm and humour. Every meal was delicious and exactly as ordered. My two grandchildren made good use of the activity packs. The atmosphere was just perfect for a family get together. Thank you for making our afternoon very special.

I was very pleased to find that Harvester has improved so much. Plenty of options on the menu. Very tasty food. Outstandingly prompt, delightful service. Great value. Such a change since my last visit some time ago. I'll be back soon.

Great food, good service friendly staff family really had a great time

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We moved as it was a bit chilly. Our waiter Niall was very efficient and polite. Some Harvesters can be a bit hit and miss but this one is always very consistent. Food hot and fresh - a well run place and worth visiting

The service we received was fantastic, so happy to help with all our orders and they even took the time to list to our autistic daughter make her order. The food was lovely and hot when it arrived. It’s a lovely family place to go for a meal.

Great place to meet up being next to a round about. Food is pub standard, so not exciting. Can get busy, but usually still a free table or two. Does have WiFi, Drinks cost adds up fast.

Really enjoyed our breakfast get together with old friends. Kept waiting for a while to be seated, despite booking, but the staff were lovely and apologetic. Breakfast was lovely although would have liked more than one mushroom as it wasn't particularly large. Overall though, a lovely experience, thankyou.
