The best restaurants serving British food in Coventry West Midlands

Attended for husband’s birthday during Ramadan on a Friday evening. We attended with my elderly father in law and my over tired and tearful toddler. The service was so well organised despite a busy Friday. They provided dates and fruit to open fast. We were able to quickly place our order and the food arrived piping hot and ready in time for opening fast! Everything we ordered was delicious and such large portions. We had so much food to take home. Amongst the many items we ordered, highlights were the beef short ribs, korean beef noodles and lamb achari. We also enjoyed a new dessert item they have added - the karak chai tiramisu and pink tea. Food aside, the most stand out thing in this place is the staff. Everyone from the car park attendant, doorman, to the wait staff greeted us with a smile and like they were happy to be there. Have to give a special mention to our waiter DeeJay and waitress Krishna. Deejay was so attentive to all members of our party, answering all my FiLs questions, chatting with my husband and showing such kindness to my teary child. He honestly is such an asset to this restaurant. Krishna was also so lovely. We do go out to eat often as a family and seldom have we found service as such. We were blown away. I would advise people to take some cash to give tips as the chip and pin system doesnt allow tipping at this restaurant.

We decided to make the most of the lovely weather. So we parked at the pub and went for a walk along the canal and then back. As the weather was still glorious we decided to sit outside in the garden, which has now been opened up with gorgeous views of the canal and new eating tables. Drinks: Cider x1; Lemonade & Lime x2 Meals: Ploughman's x1; Steak ciabatta Sides: portion of chips x1 Food was excellent and very tasty, as always. Was very busy as lots of people were walking along the canal and having a drink/food, but the service was still good.

Mis primos y yo nos hemos reunido para almorzar cada seis semanas desde hace unos años. Disfrutamos de nuestra visita, pero esperamos una modificación relativamente pequeña, como no proporcionar salsa de ajo Mayo con un plato popular, es decir, pollo frito sin hueso del sur.

Not a restaurant. Arena with Good views from all seats and good level of facilities. However, small seats with short leg room so you squashed from the side and poked in the back for whole event. Seats hard so numb bum after 30 minutes. Limited entrances and exits from car park we were allocated to ,so long queues but fortunately we had taken a picnic to eat whilst waiting. Won't be my first choice for a future event.

Acabo de estar en el jacobeo y tenía el menú de oferta de la hora del almuerzo, no podía faltar nada en absoluto, la comida era encantadora, recién cocinada, sabrosa y hermosa, el servicio de camareros era muy bueno, no puede faltar nada en absoluto, recomendaría una visita a cualquiera

Me encantó nuestro té de la tarde hoy, tan pronto como entramos, la señora nos dijo las reglas de distanciamiento social y que nos desinfectáramos las manos, nos ofrecieron bebidas de inmediato y nos dijeron que si queríamos otra taza, solo preguntáramos, cuando llegó nuestro té de la tarde, fue increíble. No podía creer qué bien se veía, los bocadillos eran todos frescos y un rollo de salchicha casero que estaba calentito y muy sabroso. los bollos caseros eran tan sabrosos y frescos, he tenido muchos tés de la tarde, pero honestamente puedo decir que este fue uno de los mejores. Definitivamente regresaré después del encierro.

Tuvimos una entrega a domicilio del almuerzo del domingo de ellos, siempre llame y reserve directamente. Reservé con mucha antelación y la comida llegó a tiempo y la calidad era genial como se esperaba. No los he usado por un par de años pero es tan bueno como siempre fantástico buena comida casera de calidad

Fabuloso almuerzo del domingo. Joya escondida en Coventry. La comida y el servicio eran muy buenos. Sabe a cocina casera. Personal amable y agradable

Increíblemente decepcionado y disgustado con la comida que habíamos entregado de Snax en la ciudad. Pedimos dos papas de chaqueta, una con pollo Tikka Masala y otra con gambas en salsa Marie Rose, ambas con queso. Como se puede ver en las fotos, la papa de langostino parece que ha pasado por una lavadora y no tiene queso y el “tikka masala de pollo” es en realidad rodajas de pollo envasadas tibias encima de una papa sin salsa. Qué decepción, no volveré a pedir desde aquí.

This little cafe has extremely good home cooked food. Can personally recommend the breakfasts and the faggots. The price is really reasonable, and will suit any budget. Highly recommended.

This is without doubt the best cafe on Warwick campus, and its cheaper than the others and to top it off, its run by the SU for the SU, so all profits feed back to the students - unlike the other big chain corporate share holders. Coffee is great, cakes superb seating lovely, comfortable and you can watch the world go by……oh and its dog friendly - Barney never forgets his dog treats from the counter. Keep up the superb service.

El restaurante del hotel por estándares de tomillo es bueno. Un menú sencillo, que no es caro, siempre hay nuevos platos para probar. A veces más fácil para comer en que aventurarse por la ciudad.

Delicious food, presented tastefully in softly sophisticated surrounds; superb Sunday lunch with plentiful veggies; such lovely, attentive staff - special mention to Andre: obrigado meu amigo!

best pub in town, very friendly bar staff, chloe really made our night special ! , great atmosphere and lovely glass collector too that we had a lovely chat with, 10/10 recommend highly !!!!
