The best restaurants serving British food in Coventry West Midlands

What a lovely surprise! Our first visit here, group of four for breakfast. Perfect service and the best Eggs Royale I've ever had. Will definitely be back, thank you.

Durante el día, salga de la cafetería callejera que sirve hermosas comidas recién preparadas justo en el centro de Coventry. Me encantan las ensaladas frescas todo el año, pero Café Italia, prepara con trozos completos y saludables de pollo a la parrilla caliente y erupciones de tocino. Es cálido y satisfactorio en los días más fríos de invierno. Nadie más hace nada que cumpla con este alto nivel.

Estaba buscando un lugar para el desayuno y esto se ha mencionado el día anterior. Decidió darle una oportunidad. Un montón de asientos y un ambiente agradable. El desayuno era lo suficientemente grande para mí. Merece la pena intentarlo.

Me and my friend came with our 2 daughters for dinner 2 of is had rib and steak and the other 2 had burgers the steak was cooked to perfection and the rib just fell apart and the burgers was really tasty the bar staff verity was really friendly and always .making sure everything was okay thank you Kayleigh we definitely are coming back again

The perfect tea like drinking a clear glass window with amazing multi flavours that dance on the tongue..... The food is the best in Coventry....my difficult to please daughter was even impressed..Thank you we will visit again soon.

Good prices, classic breakfast, and really friendly service, would definitely recommend if in the area.

Paid first visit to this cafe to try authentic British meals and puddings. Friendly and diligent staff offered impeccable service. Even the patrons were welcoming. A local gentleman sacrificed his table to us before striking up a brief friendly chat. Foods were beautiful, delicious and value for money. The bread and butter pudding was so enticing and yummy that I totally forgot to take a photo of it before finishing it. I was fortunate to be introduced to the superb chef afterwards and am looking forward to enjoying the various mains and puddings cooked by her on the Jan 2023 menu. It would be perfect if the cafe could update the price information on the church website and their TripAdvisor About section.

Terrible service from waitress, as we didn't order enough food as she imagined. Kept pointing that out, took cutlery and cups away from us as we ordered only one pot of tea. Spoiled all impression from guildhall visit, though the museum itself and stuff are immaculate

Mixed grill. Steak. Awful. Unedible tough as boots Gammon. Sausage. Chicken. Lovely Presentation. Awful. Not that matters. Would like to put pics on to compare . Sizzler what crap . Had mixed grill many times in the past and can't fault it but this one didn't even resemble the menu pics ..

why say you close at 9 and then not be open at 20:20

mushy peas and gravy cant eat them just vile and set a haddock insted of cod 🤦🏻‍♀️

We ate here for 4 nights when when working in Coventry and staying in the Premier Inn. Previous reviews had us worried but they have really turned it around. The lasagne and big stack burger were both very good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, especially Jackie at breakfast. If your working away, you'll have a good time here.
