Mixed grill. Steak. Awful. Unedible tough as boots Gammon. Sausage. Chicken. Lovely Presentation. Awful. Not that matters. Would like to put pics on to compare . Sizzler what crap . Had mixed grill many times in the past and can't fault it but this one didn't even resemble the menu pics ..

On a busy Friday evening the food was served quickly and was presented nicely , tasted good too. All staff were friendly, this establishment is clearly run very efficiently by manager Mel. Well done

Firstly the meals were freshly cooked and well prepared and exactly as ordered. Very well done everyone. Drinks perfect too. Secondly we had a double family birthday and staff were kind enough to light candles on 2 cakes we brought and bring them to our table to complete a fine meal. Thirdly, all Staff were polite and well mannered as usual. Fourthly, we did book online as usual too, very easily and reserved a table which was free for us arriving at 12 noon. Thank you Brooklands.

Lovely vegetarian meal at a good price, good selection. We booked for 4.30 as not too busy which we prefer. Definitely recommend it!

Popped in for a quick dinner on chance and enjoyed good value for money meals and drinks. Service was great and waiting almost zero and many customers were there. Will definitely be back 👍

Visited today with a group of residents and staff from sovereign House care home for our monthly pub lunch outing this is our second visit to the brooklands the staff can't do more to help friendly welcoming all meals were lovely food was hot, good portion size, great atmosphere will be coming again!

Went last night with my partner for dinner as this pub has a really good reputation for food. We had the tandoori skewers which were amazing, to be fair cooked to perfection. Staff on arrival were extremely welcoming and polite. Would recommend to all

Food was great as was the service and all at great value.

Terrible food & service. Ordered a sizzler which arrived NOT sizzling. Asked for steak rare. The steak was well done, this came along a beef rib which was stone cold. The chips were also cold. I explained to waitress that as per Sizzling pubs guarantee food sure be a sizzler & explained issues. Apologized & said would change. As she left the onion rings flew on the floor. They remained there even after we left. The food did come back sizzling this time. Raw onions & mushed mushrooms. No onion rings this time. Maybe they expected me to get them off the floor. Few chips in top were hot rest cold. Was in the side conservation which was so cold & everyone was sitting with their coats on. Very enjoyable experience & a total waste of money. Just not good enough

Christmas day lunch food was very good and loads of it, very festive feel tables decorated lovely, staff were great nothing to much for them would recommend Christmas day here .

Never had Xmas dinner out before and was not let down. Food was amazing service was amazing 😁 have and will recommend and will definitely be back soon, oh and will definitely be booking next Xmas as soon as the bookings come out 👍

Lovely meal very hot and service great

10 of us went on Saturday for a family birthday. We pre-booked the Festive Menu and both food and service was excellent. The pub was very busy but the wait between courses was just right. One suggestion: could a child's option be added to the Festive Menu next year please.

Have just been for Christmas day lunch. It was value for money. The food was plentiful and well cooked. The staff were efficient and they had taken the time with table decorations. The atmosphere was good, friendly and Christmassy. All in all a very enjoyable day and one we hope to repeat next year.

Great place, great food, we had Hunters chicken,Gammon, Chicken tikka Masala and three starters not long to wait, The staff are great so friendly made feel so welcome and very christmassy 🎄

Came to celebrate a graduation. Staff were welcoming, friendly and very attentive. Food was perfect. All came out at the same time and everyone’s meal was great. We dropped off some banners and balloons which they’d put up ready for us arriving. Went above and beyond to make it special.

Another great visit to The Brooklands. We had the Festive Set Meal. The table had been prepared by Lauren and was really welcoming. The food came out piping hot. We went for the Turkey meal after our breaded prawn starter. We finished with a very generous portion of apple pie with custard. We are regular customers to The Brooklands the staff are very friendly and treat us like friends not just more customers. Thank you All for putting us in the Christmas spirit.

We have been to the Brooklands a few times and the food has been fantastic I would definitely recommend going to the Brooklands

Last minute dinner. Called ahead and they reserved us a table straight away. Food was delicious and came out in good time. Team where lovely and pointed my kids to the christmas colouring sheets. My son asked when we can go back (he's a fussy boy) Thank you team Brooklands for fantastic food and pleasurable service x

My brother visited with his 2 daughters from London. We booked 3 days in advance for the circular table for 5 people. Food was ordered at 3.45 for 5 and was ready by 4.05. Mine's a Cluckin Hotstack, great meal, great value, great taste. Well done chef and waitresses also, all working hard and making us welcome. John.

An all round great pub ; we went for an early evening meal on a busy Saturday. The food and service were both outstanding. The quality of the food for the cost is excellent.

Staff are very attentive, food is great, service is great - lots of choice - would definitely recommend! We went on a Friday night and really enjoyed our evening!!

Lovely atmosphere, food is delicious and staff are very friendly and welcoming. We are regulars here now in the bar and the restaurant and can't fault the place or the team. The facilities are very good and always clean and has a variety of entertainment on to suit all.

Arrived firstly to at 11.30am to find you was not open as website said open 11am. Returned at 12.30ish to have meal to start the latte taste was undrinkable just a little hint try having sweetners in for diabetic customers. Ordered 2 mixed grills when arrived to our table the skillet wasn't sizzling as that the brand of your business. It felt that all of the foodwas reheated only fresh item was the sausage very disappointing experience from a establishment that is normally very good.

New menu is worth popping in for. Generally all round good night

I have awarded 4 stars not because I liked it in a particular way, but 3 stars didn't seem fair. At the end of the day it is a fairly basic pub with a fairly basic menu for an average cost. We enjoyed our food and left and in that regard it will always get my vote ahead of the unhealthy fast food places that are similarly priced.

We absolutely love going to the brooklands.. its very clean and tidy.. its got a lovely atmosphere too... the new menu is excellent and great value for money.. But the staff out shine all of that.. what an absolutely brilliant team they have with Mel at the helm.. myself and my family recommend this place and praise the team to everyone..

Cheap dinners which are fine, service is good and the bar is good if you are just having a drink.

Excellent value for money and tasty food too. Staff are friendly and polite and it’s comfortable and welcoming in the eating area. Tried the tandoori skewers from the new menu. Absolutely delicious and well worth ordering. Can’t wait to try some of the other choices.

Visited today for a late lunch. We chose from the 2 dishes for £11.75. Unfortunately the menu wasn't very clear and when we ordered we were told my choice wasn't in the special deal. It was pointed out after we'd paid that we should have looked for the pound sign next to the item. It really shouldn't be on the same section as the special. Also there was a blackboard stating the choice I made as being in the special offer, again very misleading. The staff did offer to change the order, but we decided to continue with our first order. Having said that the food was delicious and piping hot. I think it should be pointed out at the till that some of the options aren't included in the special offer. This is a pub we visit regularly and we've always enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Slightly disappointed this time, sadly

Myself and my Fiancée absolutely love The Brooklands. Never a bad meal, particularly when Mel is in the kitchen! Landlady and top notch chef! Friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. I always have the mixed grill and it's always cooked exactly how I like it. The fish and chips is also very nice and my fiancée particularly likes the salmon. Still waiting to try the beef rib as always sold out so must be good! Highly recommended for a nice pint and a hearty meal 😋

Had a pleasant lunch time meal with friends, the menu was good with choices for vegetarian and a Vegan. Service was excellent. We would definitely return.

First visit for a quick drink. Very impressed by the Mild and service from the barstaff. Will revisit and try the food. What we saw coming out looked very good.

Great prices and friendly staff

Having been several times before on the off chance unfortunately we were let down this time. We booked a table for 5 however on arrival the table was only set for 4 we had to ask for the extra chair and cutlery. Food was just as good as before and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Lovely place I loved my food but some in my party didn't especially the dessert 4 items not available and the fudge brownie that 2 of my friends had was wildly different in texture and taste one was soft and gooey and the other was bitter and hard leading to us thinking it had been over cooked

Always have had lovely meals here ! The staff are all lovely and very friendly too! The atmosphere is good never seen any trouble always families having a good time ! I've never been in the bar area but there's always a friendly vibe whilst in the lounge

So food was ok, drinks were ok… The issue I had was the mixed grill came out on a cast iron skillet. I hate them for one reason.. they are never cleaned properly. My grill arrived and I lifted the chips in a bowl and moved them from the skillet. Underneath was dried and burnt food, not from my meal, from the previous customers!! No food of mine had touched the skillet, it was that burnt and baked on, it could only be someone else’s. AVIOD THE SKILLETS!!!

Our visit was fantastic from the minute we walked through the door to the minute we left. A party of 8 ranging from 2 year old twins to a couple of 80+ year olds but nothing was too much trouble for Mel and her team. Food was delivered quickly, very hot and delicious! The Kane Family

While the food was decent, there was an unusual choice to incorporate BBQ sauce into the gravy. Additionally, it's worth noting that the venue cleanliness left room for improvement, and there was a noticeable unpleasant odour in the toilets. Staff were friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for the food to come out. I had mac n cheese and it was nice and cheesy and my friend had fish and chips. She couldn't eat all of the fish (it was big!) So I helped her out (ever the gentleman!) The fish was delicious, just melted in your mouth 😋 Overall I'd definitely return there for a meal again.

The chef Maz did amazing food for us today and Lauren behind the bar was so polite with her service. Jade and ruby were welcoming and polite as always. Never have any complaints when I’m at the brooklands . Thank you all!

Ordered two medium cooked mixed grills which are usually good. However when this was served the steak were not not even rare and had to be returned. The waitress did replace them with freshly cooked steaks but by then we had finished the meal.

The food was lovely. Service friendly and quick. Very efficient all round. I don't think the Brooklands should try to improve on anything because it's just right as it is.

Just had a christmas dinner 3 of us and it was beautiful food excellent and service very good my dad with in a wheelchair and was helped to the table through the busy pub had plenty of room around the table ...top marks well done 👏 ✔️ 👍

Came over from Rugby town for a meal with my Uncle and his Cousin, both in their 80s, during the day. Nice pub with good atmosphere, level floor no steps, plenty of parking, excellent staff serving good food. What more could you want?
