Ricoh Arena in Coventry

Not a restaurant. Arena with Good views from all seats and good level of facilities. However, small seats with short leg room so you squashed from the side and poked in the back for whole event. Seats hard so numb bum after 30 minutes. Limited entrances and exits from car park we were allocated to ,so long queues but fortunately we had taken a picnic to eat whilst waiting. Won't be my first choice for a future event.

Enjoy my visit to the stadium. Well laid out and organised. So many food and drink stalls. Toilets not busy. Great site for the gig and marvellous accoustics. Should host most band there

Excellent value for money within the Coventry City stadiun and Wasps Rugby ground.Situated near the M6 but all the signs from the Motorway indicate the Ricoh Arena but is now known as the Coventry Building Society Arena.Be warned!!The Hotel told me the Highways Dept have still to change this!!Autumn on reception was magnificent and is a great ambassador for the Hotel.Likewise,on checkout,the two overnight porters are top notch for efficiency and enthusiasm.Well done.Only negative for me was the food option next door was one of these American type diners with loud music and a poor Nandos type menu.Honours members don`t really appreciate this food option and the hotel acknowledged that they were reviewing this shortly.It was so bad,i walked 15 minutes to the adjacent retail park to find a very good Pizza Hut!!Afterwards,i returned to this bar for a beer to find many Rugby supporters boozed up and very loud from the afternoon`s match..

Considering the status and size of this place, I would have expected much more. Design and layout is not conducive to social distance and no layout for covid measures either

I have called this restaurant just after 10.30am (opening time) this morning to book for a large family meal. The website does say that it has limited booking slots . Due to the size of the booking I believed this would be a good call to make. On calling I spoke to a person called Tom , who I can only say was extremely arrogant . I asked if I could make a booking and was told ‘he’ does not take bookings because he is at the Ricoh arena and does not need too.. I asked about a set time at 8 pm and was told I would have to wait an hour outside.( the restaurant closes at 10) I suggested that bookings would help this situation and once again he told me that he is at the Ricoh arena and why would he worry about that because he is full all the time. So much for customer service ! With an attitude like that we will see how long this new Nando’s restaurant survives. A group booking of 12 adults has now gone to another restaurant who clearly deserve to receive our custom hard earned money. Other restaurant 12 Nando’s Ricoh 0

good facilities available and organisation was first class. Clean rooms and the service was excellent.

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant in the casino part last night it was lovely presented and really good value for money it reasonably priced good night out for grownups will definitely go again

First time I have ever been to this arena and the first time i have been vip hospitality at a concert. We did pay extra but after the service, it was fab, it was easy to queue, we had a lovely view, we had a large lounge with bar, food & toilets, we was also given food and drink voucher which was great, the food was nice, all the staff was really friendly and helpful, at the end of the show we stayed until the arena was emptied in the nice cosy lounge, great experience

Luckily the band were wonderful. The arena was not equipped for the amount of people. Food was disgusting and expensive. We couldn’t eat it!! No veggie option. Went home very hungry. But the journey took far too long as well. Toilets inadequate. My husband went straight in to the toilet, I had to queue for Over 30 minutes!! Took hours to get away. Road system failed miserably. Won’t be going back. Disappointed beyond belief. Thought they might have learnt after the spice girls concert. Greedy, money grabbing Arena.

The stadium is fabulous but the extensive queues for the ladies toilet meant we missed quite a bit of the concert. No queues for the men. Food and drink very overpriced. Wouldn’t choose to go here again.

I was within the Ricoh Arena for 2 days recently due to work business and mainly made use of one of the main conference halls. Whilst there, they provided catering options within our main hall which were adequate from a snack and beverage point of view, but poor from a hot food point of view. I wondered out of the main hall and found a couple of alternative venues within the main lobby area where the snacks and beverages choice was similar (plus the addition of alcohol). Prices of snacks and beverages I guess were around what you would expect for a place like this, certainly not cheap, but at least they did have a good choice. One of my biggest pet hates now a days is the lack of full fat/full sugar drinks, this was not a problem here, full fat coke was readily available

We are season ticket holders at Wasps so took opportunity to take a non rugby friend. Hospitality in Jaguar lounge was excellent with a warm friendly reception and ease of access. The food was excellent and time before kick off flew by. Great seats almost on half way line. And we beat Quins - always good.

excellent service, felt comfortable in staying. The room was perfect and very spacious. The choice of TV channels were really good and was easy to access. The food in the restaurant was lovely and very filling

6 times a year we rather at the Ricoh Arena for our Forever Living conventions and I will admit the staff are always polite, queues are short and the venue clean. Definitely a place to hold an event!!!

the title says it all, not a great place for an awards ceremony or convention but ok I suppose. contactless readers didn't work and its well known by staff who shrug their shoulders. Its a football stadium, would be better at sticking at being just that

For big events your best parking in the city and getting the train or bus to the arena unless you have booked your parking in advance.

Enjoyed the game we watched here. Catering staff were efficient. Loos were clean. Parking was good close to the ground

As I was attending a conference at the Ricoh Arena, I had the opportunity to enjoy the conference facilities with large conference rooms and great light conference lunch. The view overlooking the Stadium ground is well worth the visit.

The Ricoh arena is venue that is surrounded by amenities. There are food and bars located within the arena setting and also within the adjacent Hilton Doubletree hotel. There is also a shopping mall not more than a 5 minute walk away where there is a multitude of various shops and restaurants. There is also a casino on site, which houses a number of restaurants. The arena has ample parking for all and is suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users.

Stayed for a convention. Very nice facilities. Food was good for a convention center but not spectacular. Wandered out to look at the pitch, which was beautifully done.

Un lugar excelente con una buena interconexión accesos por autopista. Las instalaciones para conferencias son excelentes, y pueden cubrir eventos pequeños, medianos y grandes. El servicio de comida era estilo buffet con una excelente selección. La cena fue un evento black tie y el comedor estaba a un alto nivel, con un excelente servicio y comida.

First time we've visited for a rugby match and it was great. Massive crowd but all well organised.Pre booked parking some distance away but not a problem and seating fine for an arena.

He asistido a dos conferencias en el Ricoh. Excelente acceso a la autopista y conveniente tener un hotel en el lugar, pero es muy caro para lo que es. La comida era buena para una gran cena conferencia de negocios pero siendo vergonzosa acompañaron fuera del bar asociado casi inmediatamente después de la cena terminó. Podría ser conveniente para los organizadores pero patética para negocios de redes.

Visitamos el Richo Arena para el baile de por vida Peter Kay presenta el sábado pasado. Fue un evento muy bien organizado, muy espacioso y lleno de bar y aseo. Fácil de llegar y un montón de aparcamiento hizo de este una experiencia muy fácil para nosotros.

Watching Wasps at the Ricoh, doesn't come any better . Local derby game against Leicester Tigers ! Regular visitor to the Ricoh, rubbish parking, great Rugby team, good stadium about 32k capacity, good atmosphere most games, reasonable facilities/bars although very busy.

Was here for a works Christmas dinner/party with my partner. I thought the entertainment was fantastic and overall a fantastic night. Looking forward to next years Christmas party here!

We visited the Ricoh arena to watch Bolton Wanderers play Coventry , good view of the pitch , well stewarded , and parked for free outside Frankie and Bennies but had a meal after, a pint is £4.95 , a bit more London prices for us Northern Lads , but we enjoyed our trip , easy access back onto motorway

I went to the conference centre at the Ricoh arena. The rooms were smart and clean staff very polite and knowledgeable about what we were doing.The only item I did not agree with was the quality of the coffee on the first floor bar and eating area.We were given instant coffee all day at high prices in fact the same price that we would have to pay for the ground floor coffee bar which is Costa.The day as whole was good just that one little blip.Being a Rugby fan of Wasps all facilities seem good but I do believe that coffee should be the same on all floors.

One of the best event facilities I have visited, great location, own train station, close to motorway, world class event space.

We attended the rugby union game between Wasps and Sale sharks. The stadium is easy to find and parking was easy. We were in the 1867 lounge for lunch before the game and considering this was catering for lots of people the meal of gammon, vegetables and cheesecake was very good. Our seats for the game were very good but it was a shame the stadium wasn't even half full due I suspect to the Internationals taking place at the moment and numerous Wasps key players weren't playing which must put some people off attending. The staff were all helpful. After the game there was a bit of a wait to get out of the car park but once it started moving you were away. We enjoyed the meal and the game but personally we liked going to the High Wycombe stadium as it was nearer us, smaller and a closer view of the action.

very nice venue good aptmosphere, crowd get good view, has some good events, snooker etc, and Coventry play there

Getting to the ground is very easy. Loads of parking, most of which can be booked on line. We used Exhall school , paying cash on the day. Getting away was very easy also, taking less than 10 minutes to get to the M6. Can't fault the stadium, even though it is just like all new grounds. Good view of pitch, plenty of food outlets and bars.

Attended RL 4 nations double header at Ricoh Arena and was impressed. Friendly stewards and serving staff helped make the day. Good selection of food and drink - with hand pulled ales being especially welcome. Not cheap but not too pricey either. Good day out with a win for England a bonus

I never knew it had a restaurant until I got I've there the food was amazing. I been trying to find out if they are open to non resident

A pretty soulless venue... the conference hall and theatre of Coventry City Football Club.Very little atmosphere... lots of grey concrete. The staff work hard to make visits comfortable... and the food is OK - depending what the conference organisers pay for... but there never seems to be very much of it.Plenty of Carp Parking - but a nightmare to leave when a few hundred other people are trying to do so at the same time.

went to see Georgia may sing at the ricoh casino we pre booked a meal for 6 in our party before the show the food was superb. staff excellent then went to see Georgia may a local talent she was brilliant then a gamble in all fantastic night be back soon

It's a modern arena with good views wherever you sit. The stewards are friendly and helpful and there are bars which sell cask beer from Purity. It's a long way from the city and parking is expensive, and although there is an Arena Rail Station it did not seem to be functioning on the evening which we attended. The attached hotel has a bar also with Purity beer. Going to games is more about the score than the stadium, but I have been to far less welcoming places than the Ricoh.

Went to the Ricoh arena to watch a football match. Most seats in the arena would give you a good view of the pitch. There are plenty of food and drink outlets, but they are quite expensive for a football match, possibly because the venue is used for concerts as well.I think you would get a better atmosphere at concerts than you do at football matches,with stadium only a third full.

We were made very welcome , this place is immaculate ,beautiful features ,Angie and quinton realy made our visit a nice experience , the food was very good ,and very reasonably priced, great atmosphere ,we had our first experience at the roulette tables, great fun, great night out, ,, would def recommend

Very good venue, stayed at Hilton hotel and had a view on rugby court (room 231) security is top notch, enough possibilities for eating and relaxing.

We were among the mad crowd who queued for a couple of days for their place at the front of the stage - the staff at the Arena (and the on-site Hotel and Casino) could not have been friendlier or more accommodating.

Venue is good although no where near as impressive as Wembley. Sound was very good though and a decent atmosphere. Was in a block at the side of the stage and had a great view of the concert, only moanis that you cant really get parking cheaper than twenty pounds locally on event days.

Great having the Ricoh so close to home. Always well organised and a great venue. Seen loads of concerts here. Jess Glynne the last one.

Been there 3 times in the past few years. Great place for big events, well organised and in great location.

I went to see Bruce Springsteen. There were a choice of outlets, hot dogs, pies, chips. All but the hot dogs had a huge queue so I chose a hot dog. It was basic (no onions) but reasonable. There were choices of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. A hot dog and bottle of water was £6.50! You can take empty water bottles into the venue and fill them inside.

Excellent food & services provided for 400+ staff. Layout of room & tables excellent. Staff very friendly.

A really good well designed modern sports venue with excellent conference facilities to support both a sizeable exhibition and a 600+ people dinner.A real asset to the City of Coventry and seems well geared up to drive revenues outwith the hosting of sport (Coventry City and "London" Wasps).

Live within walking distance of the arena so can't comment on accessibility or car parking but the arena is a top notch venue for the two games I saw drinks and snacks are comparable to most venues like this (if you want a drink beforehand I suggest the parkgate pub) good shopping centre with alternative eating places next to arena. Defo recommend.

For a corporate dinner, we had lovely food and great service, also good value. All round, very good.

Good modern stadium. Train station next to it. Parking all around it. Arena shopping mall with chain restaurants next to it, including a mini bus station. Oxford canal runs alongside. One hours walk from Coventry centre.

Stayed overnight after football. Room overlooked pitch so great view. Hotel being done up so corridors in a state of repair. Only us and one other couple for breakfast. Good choice and good large English cooked breakfast. Good for staying for football and would recommend the food in the casino next door.

Although this a football stadium first and foremost, it is a pretty good place to watch rugby, decent seats all areas and I would say paying a little extra for decent 2nd tier seats is worth it.Go wasps!!!

There's plenty of shopping here, and plenty of parking. Access is easy. The Doubletree Hilton is good. So is the football stadium which caters for both association and rugby codes: comfortable seating with good views. Well worth a visit.

Went to watch snooker here and found most of the staff ok but security staff very unhelpful and very "jobs worth" very poor service to get you into the hall poor intent on checking your tickets three times

Went to the Ricoh arena on a Saturday evening for a works party there were 1300 people at the event the food was very good service excellent it was all very organised.entertainment was brilliant

An excellent 3 course meal with very good entertainment. approx 500 people, very smooth service good wine with the meal

This place is great for shopping and for getting something to eat. It is easy to get to and it is always easy to park.

But it was sold out by the council because the company could not operate correctly. Sis has no love for the club or the City and should leave as soon as possible

£8.50 for 4 really good burgers on the sliders menu after 11.30. You may be able to get them earlier.steaks are good too .however I highly recommend the salmon ..delicious ..

The Ricoh arena is a good venue for a business meeting when you have a group. The conference rooms that we used were large and well serviced with direct access to the stands / pitch.Plenty of parking is also a benefit.

Wow, what an impressive Arena. Plenty of seating areas for disabled people. Unobstructed views throughout the arena. Excellent facilities. Car park charges on a par with everything else. But I think that should be reduced to £5.00 they would still make money! Plenty of shops nearby.

This is the 3rd conference I have attended here and didn't let us down. Well done for the scale of numbers and service in general.

This is a superb stadium with excellent visibility from every seat. The design is attractive and the facilities are good, from the hot pies to the loos. Parking is bookable, close and easy to find. Located less than a mile from the M6 this stadium should have a great future.Only criticism is that the seat blocks are not that obvious and we saw several people take what they thought were the correct seats but in the wrong block.

Waited an age to get service for dinner and breakfast was a joke. Had to request coffee three times before getting it.

Only had a pint of Guinness. Was very refreshing. Service friendly. Food looked good but didn't sample the goods.

Travelled here for the Chanpions Cup game against Wasps in January, the Welcome Ambassodors were very friendly and helpful, the stadium was set up with a " fans zone " before and after the game and there were lots of activities available. The stadium is well set out and added to a great day out , Leinster won. Shuttle buses were available on the day from the train station but there were also local buses which were quite frequent and very cheap. Traffic was slow as you got near the stadium so leave plenty of time prior to kick off to get there comfortably.

Camembert to begin was nice and runny, as it should be. Bread selection not great though, would have preferred a more rustic selection, Chicken dish tasty if a little dry. Burger was good. Wine reasonably priced and served properly chilled. Service was friendly and attentive.

As travelling supporters the Wasps fans and organisors went out of there way to make us feel welcome - excellent internal and indoor area for pre and apres game bands, drinks and general craic. Guinness was terrible - as usual staff have no idea on how to pour pints or multi-task with numerous orders!! Good ground (I think capacity around 25-30K). Good location. Great Days entertainment.

Food basic, poor choice , restaurant very bright and cafe like. Food orders wrong and food of an inedable standard.

All excellent food and service. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Service exemplary. Impressed with speed of service as well as quality of food and fact it was always hot. Head waiter was always keeping a watchful eye to ensure service was at premium.

Weekend away to Coventry, The Ricoh Arena was defiantly on our to do list! It's astounding , the venue, the food , the shopping the staff all added to a great day out.Even booked in for the next festival , if you're in Coventry you must visit the Ricoh!

Nice Spot for professional Trade Shows although the city of Coventry is not so nice. Too dark for me

Overall I had a very good evening with fellow workmates. Entertainment was on going all night with the swains getting everbody dancing. Fair ground rides like bumper cars included added to the fun. Other acts provided entertainment during the pre meal and during the meal. The food was served very well. My only complaint was the size of the meal, very little veg was served with the very tasty. Would have preferred a choice of sweet too.

I went to this arena for a Bruce Springsteen gig. If you miss out on the pre-bookable car parking which is very handy for the arena, just drive past arena and the out of town Tesco and keep left and you will come to plenty of un-official decent car parking which is five minutes from the stadium. We found a little primary school (Holbrook Primary School) who had very efficient teachers co-ordinating parking and exiting after gig (no queues whatsoever)! Only £10 which we thought was a bargain and a good way of helping the local school funds.The arena itself didn't seem too cramped and able to cope with the numbers, as we could walk at a normal pace inside the venue. There were efficient bars which were not overly priced, clean toilets, and a number of food venues. My criticism of the food venues was that they were all geared to "hog roast" or beefburgers so not very welcoming to vegetarians or healthy eaters who don't like red meat or pork. We go to the arena two hours in advance and avoided queues but even when we left the traffic seemed well managed without any excessive post gig queues.

Be sure to check out parking before going to a concert here. The website said there was no pre booking for the on site parks but this was not the case. All the other parks were pre booked so we ended up paying £20 to park in a field but it was very near to the Arena. We had beer in the huge casino. We then had burger and chips. There was nothing at all for vegetarians. The food and drink were expensive and could have been a lot nicer. The rule about taking the tops off bottles when it's just water you are buying is really irritating.

We caught a shuttle bus from the train station to a Muse concert there, and there were dozens of them for the return journey. The venue is well organised, with plenty of food and drinks outlets and the toilets only ever had a small queue. Drinks are expensive, as expected, but at least they had plenty in stock!

We came to the Ricoh in May to see the wonderful Muse as part of their UK stadium tour. It was my first time at a football stadium and my friend actually said to me "for your first stadium it's not a bad choice" and I agreePlenty of toilets, plenty of food (Altho I myself didn't buy any) and the seats are comfy. The only negative is the traffic and roads getting out afterwards but that's hardly the Ricoh's fault

Liked the Casino open in the complex. We arrived after midnight and was glad we could get a beer or two before going to bed in the De Vere which was next to the Casino. Even the staff within the Casino building were happy and very helpful. Well Done. and the Coventry ambassadors who worked on the Saturday we saw were very welcoming. Well Done Coventry !!! You are the best

We had an event here. We were well looked after and the food wasn't bad, unlike many conference venues. I understand it is reasonably priced too.There is a casino if you like that sort of thing and a bar. However, there is nothing else close by.The place must have problems after the football team moved out.

Needs to be more. Such hype around it, but no bars, 1 restaurant which is average but would be better if there was more about to choose from. Needs some serious development around area

Went to the Davis Cup on Friday . Well organised, smiling people to help and advise especially when I left. Food was hot, tasty and well priced. Seats were brilliant and really close to the court. Would not hesitate to go again as proved that the fantastic time at the Olympics football was not a one off!

Have been to several events here which were mostly concerts, they were always well organised & run on time. There was no trouble, well none that I ever saw. It was always clean with plenty of refreshments & public conveniences.

Chose to attend the Jaguar Suite with friends for some pre match hospitality- £79.00 + VatThe cost got us into the The Jaguar Suite, 3 course meal, Guest Speakers and a pay bar.Worth every penny. Staff fantastic. Food excellent. Room venue and hospitality all very good. Seats to watch game again goodResult - Rubbish. Got beat 1-0 in the freezing cold.Stayed in the Devere hotel after the game which is overlooking pitch - again excellent value for money £40.00 booked in advance.Will definately go again and have same deal

Good venue that is well thought out and the parking next door is ideal. Went to watch football. Do not follow the Official Parking signs if you have booked parking at the arena we did and it took us to some other 'official' car park.Clearly weren't expecting the numbers of away fans to turn up that did as the catering provision was poor and queues huge. Also, the stewards hadn't opened enough space up so there was a lot of fuss!

ive been to the Ricoh several times to watch CCFC, and also to see Take That and Pink perform. Its location is great for motorway links and being next to the shops means theres something for everyone to pass the time.

This is an excellent modern stadium with very good viewing whether it is for a football match, Rugby match or concert. I have been there for all three, as well as a number of seminars. A little difficult to access from certain parts of Coventry but excellent all the same.

Concert was in the jaguar hall which was large and enclosed. Nice casino and bar in the complex, but separate entrance if you fancy a tipple. Smooth entry and exit into the venue.

Women's football, Fabulous! I am not a football fan, but, hey, it was the Olympics. Great stadium. Good facilities. We watched not one but two matches.

Easy to get to off M6 but if you don,t know where to park you could find your self ridding round & round.I parked on a football pitch car park about 10mins from ground then had to queue to pay parking at the ground then queued again for match ticket.No character

was Briliant, loved the walking carling beer pump staff! Take that were amazing and the arena was packed, easy to get to, great parking, near to train station with shuttle buses on at time of the concert.

OK so I am a Sky Blues fan but every away game emphasizes what a great stadium the Ricoh is.The view is fantastic from everywhere in the ground. People coming to the Ricoh for the Olympics were gobsmacked about how good it was. All this and Balti pies and Bovril.Now we just need to get out of this league..... PUSB!
