The Farmhouse Restaurant in Coventry

Went for Daughters 10th birthday, brilliant atmosphere and they was very attentive to my Daughter and sang happy birthday aswell, Deejay was one of the waiters made my Daughter feel very special on her birthday!

Based upon being seated, your complimented with this warm warm atmosphere. It’s literally perfection aesthetically. We were served by Kostas all night, most pleasant and helpful gentlemen been with us A to Z always walking past if we needed anything at all (not awkwardly eying us up) was just there if we needed anything. Just in general the whole staff are very helpful, polite and generally very very friendly and polite! And they generally seemed very happy too nothing forced upon which was great to see them enjoying their jobs and making our experience a delight. For the money we spent it was very worth every penny, quality and generous portions. Clean and tidy place to dine in. Would deffo come again worth the money, the experience and it’s like a family bunch here.

Apurva served us and she was amazing, such a sweet nature, a credit to the restaurant. The food was Incredible, exceeded the expectations and the drinks, wow! The only downside.. there was two of us so we wasn’t sat central to the atmosphere and away in a corner. I would definitely recommend to friends and definitely will be going back. Overall brilliant.

We were served by deejay who was amazing and so attentive to not only us but everyone around us. He is an amazing member of staff who is very caring and thoughtful to customers. The food was served very quickly and tasted great.

Very fancy restaurant serving delicious Indian food. It is usually loud and noisy and can be very busy so reservation is recommended. It is expensive but comes with a good portion.

I made a booking online, my partners grandfather passed away the day of the booking so we needed to cancel obviously. Contacted them to cancel and was told i would have to pay a £10pp fee for the cancellation??? Just morally wrong in my opinion. Awful service. Would not recommend.

Today was my first time visiting farmhouse and I must say I was impressed from the start! The service upon entering the grounds was exceptional. I was greeted by every single staff member with a smile and some even went the extra mile to spark up a small conversation which is lovely. Seems as though everyone enjoys their job. Our server Deejay really made it his mission to ensure we had quality service. He was very attentive and did not make us feel rushed - even though we stayed for over 2 hours. Highly recommend.

He made sure everything was perfect for us and we really loved his work ethic and his efforts to make sure that we were satisfied with our food and to guests around us. Considering the quality of the food, service, and overall experience, the prices were more than reasonable. It was truly worth every penny, and I would highly recommend The Farmhouse to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be returning soon!

My new favourite restaurant! Such a beautiful and welcoming place. Service was incredible, they really do make you feel at home and are so lovely and helpful. The food and drinks were immaculate, so unique and nothing you can compare to. Everything is halal and alcohol free which I love. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and was definitely very filling, so we were able to box our leftovers up for takeaway. Would recommend to everyone x

Had a wonderful birthday at the Farmhouse. The food was sublime. I had the parmesan chicken which was succulent. The service however was the best I have ever experienced at a restaurant and it is all thanks to Kostas. He was kind, attentive and just a real joy to be around. Only come to FH on special occasions due to price but perfect nights whenever I go. I had the Chicken Chilli Mac which was probably a 4/5 for me but my partner's Cajun Chicken burger was amazing to me whilst he preferred my meal as mine was less spicy😂 Wouldn't recommend to people who don't like spice as most dishes have a mild-medium level of spice but everything was perfect in my opinion. Desserts were also mouthwatering. You don't leave with an empty belly whatsoever. DeeJay, our waiter for the night, was so lovely and sociable, literally 5 star service wholly for him.

Amazing staff from start to finish, extremely professional whilst maintaining a friendly and highly welcoming ora. Food was well explained and it was obvious the staff knew the food being served. The decor is second to none and the best part! No alcohol. Food - Starters were awesome from the very go, I was told that I may of ordered too much (which I had) but I still continued to the mains as the eyes and menu was far too big resist. Leftovers were neatly packaged, and all the staff said there byes and thank you upon leaving. 10/10 a definite great experience highly recommended

Lovely food! Very tasty and nice. The service was great and staff very friendly. A lot of parking available and recommend to book as it gets busy. Steak was tasty and the mix grill platter was delicious!! The drinks very refreshing. Overall 10/10 for the whole experience. Will be visiting again when I’m in the area.

I popped into Farmhouse Coventry for my cousin’s belated birthday party – three days late, so let’s be honest, it didn’t even feel like a birthday party at all. Still, I figured I’d try to make the most of it and dine in to “celebrate” (if you can call it that). As soon as the menus arrived, I was left shocked and, quite frankly, baffled. First off, credit where it’s due: the waitress was lovely – friendly, welcoming, and genuinely doing her best. But that’s where the compliments end. The prices? Astronomical. Honestly, daylight robbery. And the portions? Don’t even get me started. I ordered the mixed grill, which set me back a whopping £40, and the portion size was so underwhelming it felt like a starter. As for the drinks menu, I noticed they’ve swapped out proper soft drink brands for the cheaper alternatives – yet still charge premium prices. Really? Safe to say, this is the last time I’ll be stepping foot in this place. Absolute shambles.

At this place, the experience really depends on the dish you choose, as not everything meets the standard. Despite this, I’ve visited three times, giving it a fair chance, and I’d still return if the opportunity arose. I particularly enjoyed the prawn and lamb chop starters, which were excellent. However, I was disappointed with the Bombay Bad Boy steak—its portion size has been significantly reduced, as evident in the photos I took of my meals. We also liked the samosa chaat, though we collectively felt the sweetcorn wasn’t necessary—just a personal preference. That said, the focus seems to be more on theatrics than on service. It was quite difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff when needed, which could be improved.

We had a lovely time spent at The farm house. Lovely environment, lovely food, amazing service. Our host which were Kostaz & Apurva were very friendly. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family from London.

The waiters were extremely kind and gave amazing service and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. The only thing I would say is that the music was way too loud and the chicken dishes were not worth the price. If they improved on the flavours of their food then I would definitely return but there is no point going to a restaurant if the food is disappointing. I wouldn't recommend the chicken parmesan but the burgers, curries and steak looked good.

Very accommodating to our table of 16. Food is always high quality (with high £ price to match). Atmosphere in the gazebo area is great, nice décor (and better lit than some areas inside main building!). Shoutout to Kunal and the rest of the servers who were speedy and professional with all requests.

Very well presented, expensive looking - a place for special occasions. Very nice starters, main course - you're paying a lot of money for some fancy chips & steak. Cocktails are very nice but expensive at £14 each. Service is very good. £138 for 2 people - 2 x starters / 2 x main course (lot of chips) / 3 x cocktails / 2 x dessert.

Lived up to the hype. Varun was excellent. Food was spot on 👌

Waiters were all really nice and friendly, and were very attentive to us. Unfortunate that we couldn’t get any tap water, and paid £5 for a small glass of bottled. The food was not worth the price. The chicken chilli mac was £28, and for that price it didn’t taste like anything special, a bit like Birds Eye chicken. It’s more a place to go for appearances rather than food. Music also got way too loud and we couldn’t hear each other speak.

Went as a large party with adults and children for boxing day. Nabeel made sure we were well looked after. He even joked around with my little cousin. Food wise, portions were huge and quality was top notch. The cooking time was really quick too, we didn't have to wait long at all.

We arrived, amazed by the look of the restaurant from the outside, and proceeded almost instantly inside, as I already had a reservation for nine people. After being seated and choosing our mains and drinks, we were served in no less than 20 minutes. However, my aunt received the wrong dish, and after speaking to the manager, she was given a replacement, which we all appreciated very much. After eating the food in an amazing-looking area, we finished our meal and took pictures outside. I personally recommend the chicken parmesan and purple rain mocktail; they were both great. However, I would steer clear of the T-bone steak, as it became hard to eat or even cut once it cooled.

I have attended Farmhouse Restaurant on multiple occasions throughout the years, i usually visit farmhouse about once or twice a year. I last went on Tuesday 24th December, the waitress Michelle did a good job, keep it up The food( 3/5 stars): for starters i had a dynamite shrimp, sound and standard. Mains, lamb shank. I dont think it was good at all, the masala/sauce just wasnt kicking enough with flavour its defintely not worth the price. For dessert, i opted for a cheesecake but it was one of the worst ones i had. The reason being: the base to cheese ratio was so messed up! The base layer was reallly, really thin, the thinnest ive ever seen on any cheesecake.As someone whos passionate about cheesecake, this was one of the worst ones ive ever had.I did raise this up with the server. For such a highly priced dessert, you would expect something thats on par or better than a dessert shop. We also had a jug of pink chai which gets a 4/5. Service was top and atmosphere is good but at the end of the day the food is the main thing im paying for so thats the foundation of the house here. Value for money is very bad at this place. All in All our bill was like £210 ish( between the two of us) which i genuinely do think was overpriced for what we experienced. I love splashing on food but the quality needs to match the price. I evaluate everything to be around £160. I have checked out all the other reviews which arent so great and theres a common theme/trend which alligns with my review which is; food isnt worth the price/not the best but atmosphere and service is good. Take heed.
