Thyme Restaurant in Coventry

El restaurante del hotel por estándares de tomillo es bueno. Un menú sencillo, que no es caro, siempre hay nuevos platos para probar. A veces más fácil para comer en que aventurarse por la ciudad.

The advertised deal for hotel guest was a 2 course dinner, a drink and full English breakfast for £23.99, but when we said we did not want breakfast we were told we could have the deal without breakfast for £15, which we took and it was very tasty, my steak was cooked perfectly, and my wife said she enjoyed her meal as well.

En los Premier Inn Coventry sólo por una noche. Reservé una oferta de comida no esperaba mucho si honesto. Gratamente sorprendido por el personal servicial y la comida inusual y bien preparado. Un plato de morcilla y manzana deliciosa. Las dos horas de happy hour con dos bebidas por el precio de uno era también una ventaja inesperada. Una tarde relajada muy agradable.

Nos alojamos el 29 de diciembre para pasar una noche en el Premier Inn contigua. Entramos en restaurante tal como lo estaba abriendo a las 6 de la tarde y nos recibió el personal muy agradable y atento. Nuestra orden era condujeron rápidamente y optamos por la comida que era £23,99 por dos platos, bebida y desayuno completo día siguiente. más jóvenes tenía su comida para niños, además de bebidas y postre por 5 libras. Comida era muy bonito (no esperaba algo tan sabroso!) y el servicio era muy bueno. Nos fuimos esa noche completos y muy contentos. mañana siguiente bajamos a desayunar y otra vez recibidos por el personal encantador. El desayuno es fantástico, muy bien preparada con un montón de opciones continentales también disponibles. Nos hemos alojado como una familia en unas cuantas Premier Inn en y comimos en restaurantes contiguos pero ciertamente ésto ha sido nuestro mejor todavía. Bien hecho a personal por ese servicio atento.

Stayed in the premier inn attached to thyme restaurant and ate there 4 nights. Every night the food tasted amazing and the staff were ridiculously nice. I knew what kind of food to expect as it's owned by whitbread but the quality was better than I expected. I had chicken and rib combo (tasty and filling), chicken makhani curry (delicious), house burger ( nice meaty burger with rarebit sauce and mushrooms which complimented the meat perfectly), tempura prawn starter (nice) and my favourite part was the aromatic duck parcels for a starter (they were amazing and cooked very well) also had the toffee waffles for dessert one night and that was nice (little too much chocolate sauce for my liking tho) the staff were very attentive and friendly the whole time making the experience much better. All in all very happy.

Had a couple of evening meals and breakfast at this Thyme restaurant. Quick, polite service with a smile. Food was the usual standard. All ok but nothing exceptional. I do wish Whitbread would change the menus more frequently. I stay away a lot, always in Purple Palaces yet the menu's are much the same no matter what brand (Beefeater, Thyme, Table Table etc) Could do with a shake up t.b.h. Anyway, this Thyme Restaurant was ok. Would use again.

Stayed at the premier Inn on business so use the restaurant. It took 20min before our order was taken. When the main came it was very good, but took another 40min before the pudding turned up but had to send it back as the hot bread & butter pudding was still cold in the middle. So will not be using the restaurant again

We had booked a night at the theatre but not somewhere to eat, and as it was Valentine's Day, our options were limited, but we found the restaurant in the Premier Inn had tables so we went there. I've got to admit I was expecting a 'boil-in-the-bag' style meal, but I was impressed that it looked like it was cooked fresh to order. None of us could find fault in the meal, and was all reasonably priced. Would recommend this restaurant to others, whether they be staying guests, theatre goers, or those just looking for a meal. Date of meal: 14th February (approx. 6pm)
