This is without doubt the best cafe on Warwick campus, and its cheaper than the others and to top it off, its run by the SU for the SU, so all profits feed back to the students - unlike the other big chain corporate share holders. Coffee is great, cakes superb seating lovely, comfortable and you can watch the world go by……oh and its dog friendly - Barney never forgets his dog treats from the counter. Keep up the superb service.

It is medium-size coffee shop, with some tables outside, located in the middle of Warwick University campus. This place is often crowded during the academic year; however you will easily find the table during the weekends or holidays. Coffee is average (if I am generous in my opinion) however they offer variety of teas, as well as nice selection of cakes as snacks and everything is at very reasonable price.

Saturday lunch time visit with our son who is studying at the Uni, order a bacon ciabatta with drinks via the table app. You can only order via the app for info. The bacon ciabatta was awful, the bacon looked like warmed up ham, it was grey and pale in colour and the taste was awful. Took it back the the manager it’s because it’s smoked! Given a refund for the ciabatta. I don’t know if this is a franchise or owned by the university, however we won’t use their facilities again. Even under the current COVID climate restaurants can still deliver decent food, so why can’t Curiositea?

A great place to visit for an afternoon tea or just to relax. A busy place so one will have to wait to be seated. but the wait is worth it. great beverages and snacks.

Cute little tea shop on campus. Great for a hot drink and a cake. The kids love all the hot chocolate options.

The waiting was way too long compared to what we got. We just ordered a slice of already made cake to eat there and only got take-away cake like 10 minutes later. The hot chocolate was ok even if a little tasteless, like the cake, it was in a take-away cup although we specified we wanted to eat there. The cake itself was ok but I think I could have bought the same at Tesco. The music was too loud and did not fit with the spirit of the place. And the staff was way incompetent, they blamed it on being short on staff but they were five for maybe twenty client max and seemed to be slacking off being the counter. They could have at least cleaned the tables, we were unable to find a single clean one.

Found on central campus for the University of Warwick, Curiositea is a great little hideaway where you can meet a friend a enjoy an afternoon with any number of sweet treats! Their range of teas, hot chocolates, milkshakes and more are very impressive, but this is never enough - each week, I believe, the cafe takes on a theme, providing limited editions items which are always worth trying. I love this place, it never disappoints - ever!

Lovely cafe on the University of Warwick campus. A lovely place to meet a friend. Cake always different and exciting, deals and different occasions all year round, Staff friendly and always helpful. Only down side is that on a couple of occasions they have not had the food in stock and I have had to be turned away. They also take a while making the drinks and bringing them over,

I'm new in warwickshire so I can't compare prices, but they seem good compared with other places. The service is very good, they are all kind and give you time to choose o suggestion if asked. I had a chai tea latte and a carrot & walnut baked cake: excellent!

I love curiositea. The service is amazing and they give you plenty of time to decide what you're getting. (They don't rush you at all) and the drinks are second to none... I think I'm addicted to it.

I think it needs to expand to cater for days when it's flooded with people, which has happened too many times. I've had to give up queueing countless times.

Curiositea offers not only the best coffee on campus but also the best coffee experience. It is based in the students quarter, and largely attracts students. The place has a warm ambience, friendly environment and is generally very 'cute'. It's the type of place that you should check even if you don't work/study at the university!

This is one of the places to eat on Warwick University campus. Styled like a traditional tea shop and serving lots of different types of tea, afternoon tea, cakes etc its a really lovely place to stop for a while. Would really recommend the breakfast tea and the scones with clotted cream. Great service and not rushed at all.

Thank you so much to the greyhound. Just amazing. Food was brilliant, service was brilliant. To cater for 36 of us all at the same time as well as other customers that had outside cause weather and views of the canal are amazing. Was for a retirement party just can not thank you enough. As I say brilliant all round. Amazing place.

We ate here for 4 nights when when working in Coventry and staying in the Premier Inn. Previous reviews had us worried but they have really turned it around. The lasagne and big stack burger were both very good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, especially Jackie at breakfast. If your working away, you'll have a good time here.

**Disappointing Experience — Serious Food Safety Concerns** We visited The Farmhouse (215 Beechwood Avenue, Coventry CV5 6HB) for dinner on Saturday, 31st May 2025, as a group of 10 people. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were lovely — warm, friendly, and attentive, which we appreciated. However, the dining experience took a concerning turn. One of our dishes — a naan bread — had a hair in it. Although unpleasant, we decided not to make an issue of it at the time. Much more seriously, my husband and daughter, who both ordered the Kahari chicken, became severely unwell following the meal. They have been suffering from diarrhea and stomach upset for the past three days and are still recovering. No one else in our party had that dish, and no one else became ill, so we strongly suspect it was the cause. This experience has been distressing and disappointing. While the staff were lovely, food hygiene must be a priority — and in this case, it clearly was not. I hope the management investigates this seriously to prevent anyone else from going through the same.

We had a great couple of hours in the Donkey Box... (It's a very small bar if you don't already know!)

Here for football, was driving so not drinking which, wasn't such a bad thing as no real ales. Food was pretty basic but, there were going to beer lots of footie fans coming in. Great location on the canal.
