First visit. Coffee was good. The club sandwich was yummy. The staff were polite. Great walks nearby too.

Bang on having not been for a year.

This visit was to celebrate my 80th birthday. I was so disappointed with the quality of the food and service to the point that I apologised to those friends and relatives who I invited. The food was not like that shown in the menu. The chips were more like fries from MacDs than what was expected. Looked and tasted like Tesco basic. Chips. The Steak pie pastry was so dry that it reminded me of the many years ago when Pubs used to reheat pies several times. Certainly the standard food had gone down. The time to get our order for drinks was not good nearly 15 minutes before our order was taken, following this it was nearly 10 minutes before they were delivered to our table. When our food order was taken it was twenty minutes before it arrived at our table. The place was not very busy. It will be a long time before I visit this restaurant again.

Second week in a row Lovely meal again, highly recommend the fish and chips supper. Thanks to all the staff xx

Great service, tasty food and reasonably priced

We visit this place a couple of times a year. We never had a bad service. The food is always delicious! We recently visited and our waitress Katie was awesome. So helpful and polite. We had a lovely little chat just before we leave the restaurant as well. We will definitely visit again.

Great pub Dog friendly and food was excellent. Waiting time was around 15 mins for food which was more than acceptable..

We had our engagement party here on the 3rd August, fantastic night had by all, buffet was brilliant everyone enjoyed the food, dj kept everyone on the dance floor, staff worked very hard making sure drinks kept flowing, overall a fantastic night would highly recommend for any functions. Thank you to all the management and staff for helping make our night one to remember.

Went here whilst working in the area and small blonde lady Tracy was very rude and ignorant. Was told not to come in because of social distancing but yet she then let 4 elderly blokes in there at once. Ordered a jacket potato and was just a microwave one. Bad experience swerve if I was you

Lovely pub, friendly staff and nice food. As a family had chicken tikka pizza which was home made tasty and very filling, Cajun chicken which was delicious and a kid's chicken nugget meal, followed by an orio ice cream which was devoured in seconds. We haven't been here since the new management but found it lovely, including the decor and will be returning often 😀......edit, it stopped serving food very quickly and has since closed in May 2024

Haven't been here in ages as it was shut, but now it's a great pub again. Lots of refurbishment is going on, and the place is looking great. Very dog friendly, and there were lots of friendly dogs there, as Jessie saw. Lovely pint of Bath ales and the price was amazing. Can't wait to see how the pub continues to develop.

First visit to the stags for a long time. Food was lovely and friendly staff.
