As a party of 14 we were worried that the food and service may suffer. We didn't need to worry. In fact, Ola looked after us beautifully. Good food, and even better service. Thank you.

Delicious food and wonderful service (I think our waitress was called Tammy). She was so kind and friendly, it made our visit (as well as the tasty sundaes that we treated ourselves to!)

We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table, ordered our drinks and looked at the menu. I didn't feel the menu had lots and lots of choice however when the food came it was just delicious. I had the lasagna and hubby had the steak and ale pale. The lasagna was the nicest I have ever tasted and hubby said the same bout his pie. Didnt have a dessert as too full from the meal. I had a 25% discount code so our bill came to £33 - thats for 1 meal each and 1 drink.

This spot is great for a quick lunch and brilliant food i will come again a cheap family dinner and lunch infinite drinks for cheap

Greeted and welcomed with a smile . Excellent service . I had the salad which was lovely and fresh and my partner had the ribs . Staff were happy to oblige with a little take home foil as he just couldn’t finish them . Really lovely experience will definitely be coming back .

The food was good but too expensive for the portion size you receive. The staff work hard and really welcoming. The exterior of the building is in need of attention, with the wooden seating rotten in places.

Not usually one to complain but the food was awful, service appalling, my daughters left nearly all their meal… this is the 2nd time the food has been horrific ! Very dissatisfied and definitely won’t be going there again! Staff not welcoming apart from one lady who I felt really sorry for! I think her name was Helen….very disappointed and total waste of money ! …. No atmosphere…. Horrific food ….awful service and totally overpriced!!

Been for food today and my friend had steak and ale pie which was absolutely disgusting,burnt wasn't the way to describe it, I had gammon which truthfully was only acceptable,the chef should not have sent it out of the kitchen,the place needs a new chef,first and last time I will be going here,and for me to complain it must be really disgusting

Although the staff are fantastic and really carry this place they are let down by the high prices for what I consider a low quality meal this is obviously agreed by senior management who are only interested in the bottom line. The place was virtually empty on a Sunday lunch time. Ithe place really needs a new broom or in fact make it a carvery and reap the rewards. Or die trying.

The meal was lovely and all the staff are excellent especially Jayne who alway provides wonderful service. I dine here twice a week and it is always amazing.

Had lunch with hubby, food really nice no faults at all, service excellent, and I'd like mention our server Alex, a lovely friendly lady, who could not not do enough for us as my hubby had health issues, and made the experience better.

Had an excellent breakfast this morning at Longford House Beefeater. The food and service were first class. The staff, especially Riley, went above and beyond to make sure that everything was OK for us Many Thanks.

Came with my husband for lunch yesterday, lovely lady called Alex served us, I told her due to my husbands hearing problem could we sit somewhere quiet, no problem and went the extra mile and turned the music down too. She was very considerate nothing too much trouble. The food was wonderful my husband said his steak was cooked to perfection and I had king prawn and vegetable skewers again very nice. The experience was made better with our server Alex thank you Looking forward to coming back

Our waitress Diane was lovely, she was very welcoming and was very helpful and made sure we were happy throughout our visit, the food was hot when arriving to our table and had no complaints. Thank you Diane😊x

Slow service, but pleasant enough lady when we eventually found her. Drab exterior: no maintenance evident, enen a sapling growing out of a gutter.

I wasn't impressed with the food, the chicken was like a burnt piece of cardboard and the ribs were dryer than death valley

Breakfast absolutely amazing well worth the money

Quite nice, lacking meat on sunday roast really. Asked if we wanted rare or well. One of us had rare, one of us had well. Both were well, no differance. Apple pies were collapsed. Everything tasted spot on though, and 100% will be back again server looked after us well

Firstly breakfast was cold it was buffet style today sent meals back these were reheated egg Rock hard , bacon well that was paper thin some of it over cooked some under cut very disappointing today , waitress was ready to charge for both meals knowing meals were not up to standard , in the end only charged for one , tried a chocolate petit pan as still warm but still uncooked inside awful

A colleague and I had a lovely evening meal after work. The menu is varied. The food was delicious and well presented. The customer service by Jayne was excellent. She was helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A recommended establishment.

Service was brilliant and food excellent, the actual place needed updating, the toilets smelt disgusting, made me wrench🤢 the signage around the entrance also needs to be a bit clearer, didn't know which way to go

Bar man had no idea what a port andlemon was. The food was mediocre at best and had to wait ages.

Disappointing Dining Experience at Beefeater Cannock My recent visit to Beefeater in Cannock for a meal while in the area for work left much to be desired. The first letdown was the uninspiring draught beer selection, featuring only the usual suspects like Carling, Strongbow, or Peroni, all at inflated prices. Opting for the Beefeater double stack burger, I was disappointed to find it arrived lukewarm at best. The staff's lack of initiative was glaring as they didn't offer any condiments or cutlery, leaving me to fetch them myself. Adding insult to injury, the condiment selection was subpar, resembling what you'd find in a café, and there were no napkins in sight, a major inconvenience for finger food. But the biggest disappointment was the quality of the meat. At nearly £17, I expected handmade or similar patties, but what I got was simply premade rubbish. The meat was tough, grisly, and lacked any semblance of quality. It was a far cry from what one would expect for the price. Throughout the meal, not once did any staff members approach to check if everything was satisfactory, depriving me of the chance to provide direct feedback. Given the dismal experience, I'd suggest heading across the road to McDonald's for better value. Beefeater seems content with relying on the captive audience from the nearby Premier Inn, evident from the lack of effort in providing a satisfactory dining experience. In conclusion, Beefeater Cannock's lackluster quality of meat, coupled with high prices and minimal customer engagement, makes it a less than appealing dining option.

Birthday celebration for eight went smoothly, didn't catch the lady who organized our table but she was very helpful. Will go again.

I did ask waiter to clarify the weight of beef per portion on there Sunday dinner as I no Toby specify 160 grams which equals 4 medium sliced pieces of beef . But waiter was unable to clarify. I felt the meat given was well under , after only having 2 slices on plate , but the waiter did offer to bring me 2 more . Please Beefeater please specify your meat allocation per person , as do Toby and crown cavery an also Marstons Carverys . Could the owner please clarify the grams of meat allocated per person please . I would advise anyone to take there own small digital scales , to make sure you get the correct grams of meat . The meat appeared good quality , but the vegetable portions left lot to be desired , almost non existent, considering vegetables are not expensive.

Great service and staff friendly food good value for money

Very quiet when I visited only a couple in.

It was OK. The food quality wasn't perfect but it's good enough for a quick bite to eat. The service wasn't bad, the server could've returned a little sooner after we requested extra time to look at the menu, but it's a fine line between getting it right or wrong so it's not a huge deal. It was very quiet when we went but I have seen the restaurant busier when driving past. Toilets are always kept clean.

Not been since before Covid. Place was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was good and reasonably priced.

Terrible service, pretty much ignored by the waitress. Got fed up with waiting so said we were going to another restaurant and she just grunted ok then, Pig ignorant woman.

Hadn't been for a while for the breakfast and was left disappointed. Now its self service from bain Marie where food isn't as hot as it was, when was cooked to order. Also orange squash rather than orange juice and bread for toast was not fresh. Seems cutting costs at the detriment of what used to be am enjoyable breakfast.

We ordered 2 double beef burgers, and all 4 slices of meat were burned ,and the cheese fries were cold So a bad experience for me ,never stepping in there again.

We had a party for 10 people with 2 children table was ready set out service first class our lady service was spot on food was really nice I had a mixed grill really enjoyed it our party had different meals all said was really enjoyable never had to wait for service to check reorder drinks and extra food for the children We all had a lovely evening Thank you for a brilliant evening

A reasonably priced lunchtime menu, although you can't just have the main course on the lunchtime set menu so hard to order a lighter option. However the person who served our party of 12 was very pleasant and very efficient.

Dropped in for a cooked breakfast this morning - polite, friendly, excellent customer service; superb quality ingredients and great value (£9.99 with plenty of coffee, juice and continental pastries, etc.) In my opinion, better quality/value than similarly-priced breakfasts at other chain hotels, 'Farm' pubs, garden centres, etc .

Fast service and tasty food.Jayne was great ! Helpful and friendly from the greeting at the reception desk to the paying of the bill and made our dining experience relaxed and enjoyable.

The food was of poor quality, and the chicken was swapped with Turkey as they had none - had enough at Christmas, which makes you think they had over-ordered for the Xmas period and now getting rid of it. The burger bun was so hard I was unable to get my knife through it, the chips were cold and it was the wrong order, when I pointed this out the waitress then came out with something completely different and wrong Drink refills took over 15 mins to come out, and small glasses and way too much ice even when we asked for no ice. Americano drink was almost see-through and when asked to swap it, they remade it and said they added an extra shot, still looked not much better than dirt water. I have had a better experience at a drive-through, disappointing as the Beefeater by my home location is very good, this one was a very poor example and even when I asked to speak with someone I gave up waiting so paid and left.

Very disappointed Sunday lunch. Potatoes, parsnips, sprouts and Yorkshire pudding was like it had been cooked days previously. Used to have lovely meals here but Xmas day dinner and today’s meal was so bad. Service was very poor as well

Our go to local restaurant that never disappoints. Great meal and at an affordable price, love the steaks & combos. Our waitress Jayne was fabulous, attentive without being overpowering.

The food as usual was of excellent quality. But for some reason management has removed the only draft beer so only bottled avaliable. But 5 larger on draft

Jayne our waitress was fantastic, we have known Jayne for every time we have attended Longford for New Year’s Eve. She’s was fantastic with my children all 4 boys. Nothing was too much trouble at all. She really is brilliant for what she’s does! Please bring back the function room for new year, we miss it terribly it really was a fantastic part of the night after the meals!! You would find more people staying as by half 10 we were the last ones there which was such a shame ! I know staff have to work on New Year’s Eve then, but honestly it’s worth it!! Please think about bringing it back, we would be straight there booking again !!

A friends get together with great service from Alex and the team. We had a great breakfast with on time service despite being really busy. Food was hot tasty and well presented by the busy chef and his team. Thanks and we will be back.

Sunday Festive lunch out at Beefeater. Family had planned to have the last Sunday before Christmas out at Beefeater and try their festive menu. Mocktails and three courses. The drinks were all fruity and sweet, the 'Very Berry' voted the most popular. Different choices of starters, all delicious, the Tomato and Brazil soup voted the favourite. Very tasty. Double Crunch Festive Chicken Burger was the most popular Main menu item. Followed by Millionaire Profittor Rolls as the best choice of pudding for us. Noone was disappointed with any food.

Perhaps could do sandwiches for lite lunches. Coffee not great. Could make do much more of a beautiful place. So handy

Just had a 1pm lunch. My fish was not eaten as inside the batter it was really dark not white like good fish should be and it did not taste the best. Staff removed the cost from my bill without a problem.
