The best restaurants serving British food in Ladywood Birmingham West Midlands

fabulous food and wine. Chef and his wife sommelier had a nice little business, white wine and cheese tasting was excellent. Shame they are closed now.

This company went out of business approximately 8 weeks ago. We paid in full for a dinner for 2 and a deposit for another 2 for our friends Christmas present. We travelled from Leicester to Birmingham only to find out this information by talking to another company who have bought their boat but don't have any details of any bookings. Bad enough to lose such a large amount of money but even worse not to be told so that we turned up there. Please be warned if you have a booking with them

The best fish fingers in a brioche bun I've had in a while. Prices reasonable, staff lovely. Busy on a Saturday afternoon at Easter. Love the decor and ambience of Cosy Clubs. Bit of a trek to the ladies toilets down a long flight of stairs is the one downside, but one disabled/baby changing toilet is available on the the ground floor.

What an excellent establishment... found this restaurant by Open Table and was not disappointed.

Better and slightly cheaper than the other Nicholsons around corner, Bacchus Bar. (£5.90 2 halfs)

Normalmente me encanta este pub. Buena relación calidad-precio y espectáculos deportivos y un gran lugar para conocer amigos. Sin embargo, hubo un partido de fútbol (no hay problemas de que yo soy un fanático del fútbol) y cuando un equipo anotó y algunos chicos animaron a otro hombre llamó a uno de entonces un c**t de cuatro ojos. Cuando el tipo cuestionó esto, la dirección no hizo nada y de hecho lo culpó por decir algo. Hizo una atmósfera horrible y desagradable, el hombre y sus amigos se fueron y mis amigos y yo bebimos y nos fuimos. No me sentía muy seguro y obviamente la dirección del pub estaba más contenta con la gente grosera y amenazante que unos cuantos chicos querían ver un partido con una bebida. Como dicen de donde soy “habría dos lunas en el cielo y una sobre el patio trasero” antes de volver a poner un pie cerca de este establecimiento. Estoy seguro de que debe haber otros lugares para disfrutar de un partido de fútbol sin ser amenazado.

Hanieh provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome by complimenting someone at our table. The food was amazing i highly recommend the wings and the crispy chicken burger. Hopefully, we’ll be back to visit again soon!

Good place for a drink food and darts! But I would book ahead.

Great place to get food and drinks before a gig at the Utilita which is right next door. Book a table on gig days as it gets busy.

A black country ales bar, plenty of drinks choice in a friendly traditional pub. It benefits from a beer garden at the rear of the property.

Absolutely loved drinking and people watching at this place all last summer. Was shocked to see that it has suddenly disappeared!
