The best restaurants serving British food in Birmingham West Midlands

I've been here previously about 18 months ago. This is a great wee pub with a fantastic choice of drinks. Next time I'll definitely eat there because the menu looks great

Called them for first time I asked for delivery and ordered around £17 meal he told me ok I call u back in 2 minutes they didn’t even ask my address lol its 1 hour passed still no call🥴

We visited on a bright May Monday afternoon as part of a set-meal deal with buyagift. So not an expensive meal, as we had a glass of prosecco by way of a welcome drink. We then had two courses, accompanied by a glass of wine each. The food was good, not exceptional but good. I've certainly had better steaks, but it wasn't bad. The beetroot and goat cheese salad was ok, again not exceptional, and probably didn't take a lot to prepare. A nice blend of beetroot, goats cheese and nuts. The views from the 25th floor are very good, we sat looking across the city to Egbaston Cricket ground. The service was very relaxed, not rushed with our waiter being very polite, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our visit, and we'd certainly consider visiting again, on a deal. I love this quirky place. It has a Gothic feel and the staff are fantastic. I got upgraded and stayed for 1 week. I highly recommend.

Bro I’m in the Swan AS WE SPEAK and this barmaid was collecting empty glasses and spilt a whole drinker over my new shoes. Didn’t even acknowledge it, they need to do better Otherwise a very good experience (except for the Eminem tribute)

This is a nice place but is quite expensive compared to other venues in the locality. At nearly £7 a pint there are ma you options a few minutes walk away to save you a few quid (especially if you are out for a few beers)

Had a steak and chicken dish. As was sitting outside we was told it had to be served on a plate not a skillet. All good. I actually preferred the plate as it doesnt continue to keep cooking and therefore no burnt onions. It was a fantastic meal and if i was to eat here again i would request a plate and no skillet again. 5/5 for the food.

Serves a purpose. Charging station plugs not working, unfinished repairs throughout the place

Love their vegan products. The people here were kind, friendly and in a really good mood.

Booked a table for my family today, queue was massive, people waiting everywhere, was told at least 1 hour wait,, more like 2 with the amount of people queuing, definitely overbooked with people, we were told it will be like this wherever you go, we left and found a lovely little pub, was very busy but totally undercontrol, unlike toby, disappointed to say the least, total chaos

Nice big spoons. There is an outside area which seems to be exclusively for people who smoke. There should be a smoking area. We had to go inside on a hot day to have our reasonably priced beer as the smoke was to overwhelming. Sort it out spoons.

Had to escape the rain on a busy school run and the lovely Becky invited myself and my mother inside, only had two bottles of coke and felt welcome Staff are absolutely lovely and very cosy inside. Big thumbs up 👍
