Lovely nice and fresh food it was packed when we went just a normal Thursday pm and you can stay there tables very clean and all staff very helpful one of the best in Birmingham a disabled access available toilets by bar all Lovely and clean and smell very fresh Lovely and clean the effort the staff put in is fantastic 😀

Very enjoyable carvery meal with good selection of meats also catered for vegetarian. Plenty of packing spaces available and good access for wheelchairs.

Enjoyable visit, great food at a reasonable price. Can't comment on rooms, only went for a carvery.

Service and location is perfect. Rooms are dated and in need of a spruce up. Carpet was dirty, toilet handle fell off as I flushed the toilet. Also as it was the beginning of February I had to turn the heating on as the room was freezing. My dad had a disabled room and his heating I turned on and it didn't go very high so he was cold all night. Not great for elderly or people that suffer with arthritis as we both do. Rooms should have heating on of guests are arriving in the colder months. The beds were super comfy though. I had an amazing sleep, which is unlike me when I'm somewhere different.

Food good. Leanne our waitress and Sophie on the front desk always greets us with a big smile and are very pleasant if there was a staff award then these 2 should win it. Mo Jayne and Mike aswell are always pleased to see us . So keep up the good work.

Food was cold and disgusting the mash looked like water and the kids burger was also cold. Do not recommend coming here unless you like food that tastes like water mixed with some special types of powder, although service was not too bad.

Always a warm welcome at Toby Quinton. Amalie our waitress was particularly helpful, friendly and lovely with the kids. The food was delicious and I even got the part of the lamb roast that I wanted. A great team.

When i collect too good to go breakfast bags and dine for the odd carvery i normally get served by Angela including todays encounter. She always goes above and beyond, kind, friendly and very hospitable. Always make you feel welcome, cant give 6 stars for service unfortunately.

Came here for a nice Carvery always delicious and enjoyable at Toby Carvery especially being my local. Been looked after by Val one of the best member of staff here always above and beyond.

Booked the function room for my wife's surprise birthday party. Fantastic venue for a quiet and relaxed party. Buffet was absolutely lovely, best I've had. Staff we're brilliant, would highly recommend for anyone wanting a private and relaxing environment. First class, thank you to everyone at Toby Carvery for a fantastic evening x

We regularly have carvery which is always nice, however we booked a party of 20 for breakfast on 12th Jan 2025 for a 70th birthday, it was extremely disappointing, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, eggs all floating in grease, so was bacon which was not only greasy but so hard it was inedible. One of group is celiac and all she could have was scrambled egg and hash browns, poor gluten free menu. The bill was around £170 We were really disappointed as its not often we are able to get all the family together. Definitely won't be having breakfast with you again, we will just stick to carvery. Service was good as always.

Went in today 23rd Jan 2025, and was very impressed by the young man in the bar and on the desk named Sam. Come in quite regularly and he sets a great example of how to do the job. Very polite and helpful. 1st class employee, well impressed, an asset to your Quinton carvery

Got asked 3 times if everything was OK which was lovely to see staff so attentive. The manager had time to talk to my children even though it was soo busy. The staff and chefs did extremely well keeping up with all the food. I thought maybe we'll have not much left been a later dinner but more food kept coming out and everything was very tasty. The whole team needs congratulating as it was heaving on Friday night due to 50% off on the app! Well done all!

Came here for the first time for my grandson's birthday 🎂 on the 5th January 2025 cos we all love a roast and it was lovely, the food ,staff all wonderful thankyou all for making a wonderful day even better

Not impressed with the last couple of visits Food always seems to go really quick once on your plate and the veg aren't cooked enough, cauliflower and sprouts just about blanched, could do with a few more minutes cooking Staff are always helpful and friendly so no complaints there

Terrible customer service. Insulted by a kitchen staff member for asking for vegetables. This person was aggressive and rude. Told a staff member on the way out followed by a phone call. We did not stop for the food as we are really shocked,and still are. The attitude of the staff member wasn't very much helping either. If they have cctv please watch and listen to see what went on. All ask the other members of staff who was there. This will be reported to higher authority to take this further. Having spoken to the assistant manager at the Toby carvery Quinton. This very professional lady was understanding and shocked at the very least of are experience. See suggest reaching out to a man called Liam nee to discuss this matter. She understands why I have no choice but to speak with this person.

The best carvery in Birmingham. Staff are very friendly and happy to help unfortunately the Heating never seems to switched on and its quite cold in the eating area. We did speak to the staff about this but nothing was done about it .popped Back on 1/1/25 for another carvery and Guess what ? Still no Heating on and still cold in the Restaurant area. I did speak to a member of male staff and his reply was ( well I'm not cold ) . That wasn't the answer I was looking for .

Scruffy, bad service. No smiles. I know it was New years Day, and people don't want to work, but service is service. Gave the waitress a tip just to make her smile. Don't book for 10.30 as they pack stuff away at 11 am. Food was average at best. Won't go again.

lovely carvery cant fault it. But yet again the eating area was cold and the heating wasnt swiched on . its not nice to have to sit with your coat and scarf on wile eating your meal.

Booked our Christmas lunch here party of 6. Service and food excellent. Very organised. Amelie was our waitress, nothing too much trouble, very helpful and friendly. Considering how busy the restaurant was we didn't feel rushed at all, it was a lovely family friendly atmosphere. On leaving we all commented what a great time we'd had and how we will definitely be returning next year.

Nice clean and comfortable. Well worth the money and lots of options. Staff are lovely and food is amazing. Lots of parking.

Breakfast was very poor today. Most things were overcooked apart from the beans and tomatoes, which were cold!

Staff Christmas meal. The food served was warm rather than hot, meat potions small, vegetables overcooked. The hostess serving our tables was nice and efficient. Ambience rather dated in need of sprucing up.

We went there after my Sisters funeral to have Tea Coffee and chat. As we were a funeral party put us in our spot away from diners with plenty of room and our own Tea and coffee machines and everything that goes with it. helpful and friendly staff. Had breakfast there today for our daughters birthday. We were very impressed and will now make this our regular place to go. The food was fresh and hot. Having a toast machine so you could have toast to your liking was a welcome addition. We have used a competitor for a long time and never been happy with the service or the heat of the food, but never moved away thinking carvery food would all be the same. Thankfully, you have restored our faith.

Absolutely gutted to have to write this review but seeing as how they NEVER answer their phones and NEVER respond to voicemails, they have left me with no choice. We usually go here when visiting our daughter in the area and normally we have a beautiful meal, but we will never return again. We ordered a takeaway yesterday for Sunday lunch. Without exaggeration, this was honestly the WORST roast any of us have ever had. I have photographs of what went in the bin, if anyone cares to see them (management?!) The roast potatoes had clearly been kept somewhere then warmed up, to be honest, they tasted as though they had been cooked yesterday, beyond disgusting. The peas were rock hard. The cauliflower was rock hard. The mashed potato was vile, absolutely tasteless. Honestly, you have to try really hard to get it so wrong! The dauphinoise potatoes were cold and tasteless. The gammon was fatty, cold and tasteless. The only part of the whole meal that was in any way edible was the yorkshire pudding! Beyond disgusted and I will continue to contact the restaurant in the hope that we may get someone to answer the phone one day.

Table we only had to wait 5 minutes for it to be set up (table for 5) but when we went to get food I was looking and she kept telling me to hurry up come on hurry up then we got a Yorkshire pudding (there massive) and my son didn't want any chicken or anything we kept saying excuse me excuse me no chicken please nothing please (he's a very picky eater) and she was so moody.

Very disappointed with breakfast with santa this year. The breakfast part was great, however the santa experience not so good. Why is santa playing the radio/music through his phone which is on the table? Why has the location changed from a spacious room last year to a small cramped corner this year? The gift given this year (malteasers) were out of date and dated November 2024!! Very disappointed!

Came in for breakfast on Thursday, have previously eaten at your restaurant and never had an issue before but on this occasion we were ignored whilst we waited to pay at the bar by a member of staff who could see we were waiting but continued to talk to a child lying down with a blanket over her on the table next to the bar

Had our 9th wedding anniversary meal here. Was a lovely meal, hot food, and plenty of selection. The dessert was nice 😋. Staff members were friendly, helpful, and polite. Will be back after Christmas.

Went on Sunday for a carvery with the family. Delicious food and amazing service. Angie especially was an amazing waitress we cant thank her enough. Recommend to anyone fancying a carvery.

I had a lovely trip recently at Tony Quinton and I am now devasted as I have just opened a £100 fine from Euro Parks. I will not be using this venue again as I was totally oblivious to this and just keen to get inside to begin my evening. It's not told to customers or written on a menu that I noticed. Very upsetting.

The carvery was absolutely brilliant. There was so much tasty and hot. I give 10/10 and the staff Mandy was very good and asking if everything was ok and if we need anythink. Thank you for making us welcome and enjoy

Not what you expect to be called a fatty when you walk into your local toby carvery. I wish I’d have read the reviews before. But it’s to my conclusion I had the same waitress as some other poor fellow on here had that said they were fat shamed. I waited in the bar for about 10 minutes before I was given a table. My waitress never told me her name but she had glasses and dark hair. I was enquiring about the menu as I wanted to try the starters for a change, she told me to look at the menu myself and any questions to ask someone else as she was busy. I told her that I only wanted to ask her opinion on the cheesy mushrooms and she walked off unresponsive to me and said fat pig under her breath. As insulting as it is, I’m more offended she never even tried to be discrete. I love humour and friendly joking back and forth, but this was simply a personal attack. I was in complete disbelief I thought for a moment I misheard but to my humiliation the family sat at a table next to me looked my way with their jaws dropped and said how disgusted they was with her attitude. Vile, awful woman. I would rather eat out the bin than come back here.

Fantastic Experience at Toby Carvery with Angela. I recently visited Toby Carvery in Quinton and had an absolutely delightful experience. The food was exactly what you’d hope for from a carvery: delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Beef was so good! What really set the experience apart, though, was the service. Angela, in particular, was a standout! She went above and beyond to ensure we were not just served but genuinely cared for. Her warm, friendly demeanor and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy eating out while simultaneously feeling as comfortable as if you were dining at home. Thank you, Toby Carvery, and especially Angela, for making our visit such a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back soon!

As carveries go, it was nice, lacking in vegetable options though. The food was hot, which is a definite plus. Staff were lovely.

Food is lovely, but staff aren't the best, asking for id for non alcoholic drinks? Don't understand why. Rude employees with bad manners and unprofessional manager, doesn't understand the UK gov rules with ID regulations. Will not return.

This toby carvery at quinton is the best for food and staff, I think the lady that always serves us is called viv, never ever had bad food or service , I've had a meal at burntree island toby an was not half as good for food or service, thank you viv for all your help always.

We had the most amazing experience here, we stayed over and our housekeeper Mandy couldn’t do enough for us! Then we went to the restaurant on the evening for a carvery and she was there again. She was attentive, funny, really made the efforts with the kids and really looked after us! Big shout out to Mandy, she is an asset to this pub! Food was also great, really. Lean restaurant even when so busy, definitely recommend and return, we hope Mandy’s working!
