Very nasty and the staff are so rude and the food isn’t cook and the pub is disgusting , some of the chairs are disgusting and the staff are too

Been a while since we came here. the food has always been avarage. not the best but not the worst. when we came in i was served by a unhappy lady behind the bar. service with a smile would not go a miss. we ordered our drinks and food. the lady that brought the food over seemed a little more cheerful. we had a burger and lasanger. the burger was a bit tough but the lasanger was absoultley perfect. next time come we will have the lasanger. as it was the best ever. the whole pub could do with a bit of cheer up. as it looks misserble. the toilets could do with a bit of mantinance to. we will come back but no hurry.

Have not been here for a while. Food service was good and friendly...didn't appreciate the small pots for the sauces tho..The toilets were not nice doors missing off quite a few.

Been twice this week once as me and hubby on monday steak was lovely .Then thursday night was 11 off us for a family birthday food and service was fab x x well done staff rob jaden and taylor i hope names are right x x if not sorry but u are all great at your jobs .

Just had a great meal at the village green - it was our daughter's 18th so we reserved a table & turned up early with the cake. The waitress was really helpful & let us site the balloons we'd brought round the table. She was helpful and attentive throughout the meal, brought drinks and food swiftly despite the place being very busy. I had an XL mixed grill skillet which was just perfect - the steak was rare, as ordered, the peppercorn sauce perfectly peppery, chips crisp and golden on the outside, fluffy and hot in the inside. The chef, who was also helping with service, got us a selection of sauces. Everyone had a great time. Great value, great food and great service.

The breakfast was delicious and amazing the staff was so kind. I will come back soon and eat here again.

Ordered food and it took over an hour to come, me and friends felt sick by the time it come and just wanted to go home. People were rolling spliffs on the tables and the staff were just walking past turning a blind eye, I'm glad I took my son home earlier in the day. We returned the next day for lunch and still had to wait a hour for lunch with no warning from the kitchen that it was such a long wait. Have never had this issue before and usually really enjoy coming but this weekend has been appalling.

Very quick service, food was freshly prepared and the portions were generous. Charlotte who served us was funny and friendly without being intrusive. It was quiet during the late lunchtime visit and she was attentive and cheerful. It was raining heavily outside and she even offered to use an umbrella to walk us back to the car to make sure we didn't get too wet. Nothing about the food or service could have been better, the only reason it isn't 5-stars is because some of the furnishings and decor felt a bit dated and neglected. Why we didn't attend for the atmosphere, I think its important to include it in the feedback, but as for the food, service, and Charlotte herself, it's 5 stars all around.

Jonathan was great! Top bloke needs to be manager. Good food and drinks stopped off here for a quick drink but stayed a lot longer.
