Didn't have any food but a lovely few pints, cheers, a bitter local, I suppose we were at his table 😉

Myself wife mother in law granddaughter 2 1/2 , and family came for a meal tonight , disgusting food ,the service well the staff looked liked tramps , didn’t think the offers worked right either40percent off your bill, and waiting for the granddaughter pudding don’t go there waited 45 mins , got to be new owners got to be , normally this establishment is bang on

Nothing but 5 stars all around! The service was attentive, and our server was polite and chatty - even though it was a busy Friday night, we felt as if he had time to make sure we had everything we needed which is great. The food was amazing. I had the BBQ chicken skewers to start, and my partner had the squid. Both were fantastic. For main, I had the chicken snitzel and my partner the fish and chips. Again, great quality and big portions. We had a brilliant visit, and will be coming back shortly. Thank you!

Food is delish. The team there is friendly. Value for money. Can get quite busy, which is a testament to the great food. The only thing is when we were there, the inside of the restaurant got progressively warm and stuffy as the evening went on. It's understandable as the kitchen was working hard, but at times, it did feel like I was sitting inside a sealed room.

Teniendo compañeros en Birmingham a menudo utilizamos el Lord Clifden como un lugar de reunión central - es un pub de cinturón y aún mejor ahora desde su renovación. Así que el sábado, nos reunimos una vez más alrededor de las 4 pm - unos 20 de nosotros de 30 a 60 años y principalmente parejas. Había sol, cervezas que tomamos y la música en el jardín excelente. Se mudó adentro más tarde en la noche y se sentó en una esquina (para entonces unos 10 de nosotros) riéndose y sin causar ningún problema. Debido a que uno de nuestro partido había asintió a dormir - el portero nos pidió que nos fuéramos (él se disculpó ya que dijo que era la decisión del gerente) sin embargo, el gerente dijo que era la decisión del portero. Habíamos estado causando problemas al personal u otros huéspedes - id entender totalmente. De cualquier manera - francamente extraña manera de cuidar de sus invitados después de haber gastado un buen golpe de dinero en efectivo y no causó ningún problema. En resumen, es un pub agrietado, el ambiente es brillante, pero el gerente tiene alguna manera muy extraña de arruinar las noches de los huéspedes. Buscaremos una alternativa a Lord Clifden después de haber sido asiduos durante aproximadamente 10 años.

Great food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Toilet facilities available upstairs. Parking available in the mailbox or nearby at the Town Hall NCP (a bit cheaper and literally a 2 minute walk to the mailbox).

Nice place, fantastic in summertime. Play ground for the little ones, a lot of space to play and run.

Just got back from a lovely meal here, for my moms birthday. All the food we had was so nice! The staff were very pleasant and helpful too, the pub had a lovely atmosphere inside and we didn't feel rushed at all to leave. We've been here a few times and will definitely be returning again x

Went to the Hunters Moon Hungry Horse the other night with some friends. (I used to go there back in the day when it was banging)… Went to get some drinks and was served by the awesome Jackie. She was humorous and very helpful. The food was good especially the Ginger Beer and the award-winning Steak and Ale Pie, mmm… My desert order was wrong but it was quickly rectified (excellent customer service). We took part in the Pub Quiz and had a whale of a time and were ultimately placed second. Big shout-out to the server lady in the red/burgundy shirt… I should have asked for her name, sorry about that. It was a great night, better than I expected. I’ll be back…

Booked the function room on 3rd May 2025 for my husband's wake. The staff were great & everyone said how lovely the food was. Would definitely book this place again.

Just had the special by the 1 and only Chef Issak! Beef chilli!!! Now that Gino D'Campo has been axed, Isaak is going places! 15/10 for the food once again!

Went in at 9pm on Friday night! Was practically empty, excellent service, reasonable prices and food was amazing! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a post dinner dessert!🥰
