went for food after a christening. got a carvery and discovered a whole screw underneath most of the food. couldve ended way differently.

Always used this Caffe when in Bewdley, great staff and lovely food.

A large group of us around 18 adults and 13 children visited last night for my husbands birthday. We had pre booked with the owner as there was soo many of us. I wanted to leave a review to thank the lady behind the bar, I believe her name is Lisa (known as Leaf), she was soo busy but was really nice, polite and welcoming. This is one of our local pubs and we had a great night, thank you Lisa

Really disappointed, met a friend and we both travelled a fair distance to eat here. There was no chicken, no pinot grigio .. food was VERY average. Felt for the lad who was on his own serving. Feel the previous reviews aren't accurate

Stunning meal. Pork belly & hunters chicken was our choice. Highly recommend. Great food, great service and dog friendly. Perfect.

Bensons fue mi puerto en una tormenta ayer: empapado en una repentina lluvia que salía de la Casa Natal de Shakespeare, me lancé porque era útil. He pasado por encima de ella tantas veces a lo largo de los años, pero sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en Stratford. Tuve un excelente brunch / almuerzo 'comida cómoda' - jamón, huevo y patatas fritas y un muy buen americano. El personal era amable y acogedor, el restaurante era acogedor y la comida era hermosa - jamón tallado adecuado, huevos perfectamente cocinados y un montón de patatas fritas a un precio muy razonable. ¡Y cuando me fui, el sol brillaba!

I’m sure the food was delicious (we usually pop in for a meal every time we visit Leamington Spa) but today at 1.30 pm when we arrived the music was quite loud. Politely asked if the music could be turned down but was told that the music needed to be on - or off - and we certainly weren’t given the option of having it turned off. We left and went to a lovely cafe opposite which was blissfully peaceful.

Proper traditional pub. Stone building with flagstone floors and beams. Friendly staff. Great choice of beers and drinks. Sunny courtyard/beer garden at the rear. Prawn cocktail is awesome. Main courses very tasty - emphasis on locally sourced meat - and portion sizes very generous. Great value for money.

Great burger place. Burgers came out quickly after ordering which pleased my son! Tasty and the fries are also yummy. The puddings aren’t bad either if you have room after the burger!

Very nice meat, very small choice of vegetables, the one big disappointment was the roast potatoes, like a frozen roastie, sickly cheap ice cream, I would expect better quality for over £35 per head

Lovely lunch, food very tasty and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and attentive without been overly attentive. Time given to view menu discuss and make choice of what we wanted. Never felt rushed.

We stumbled across this hidden gem upon going inside we was met by all I can describe as a step back into time. The interior was nicely lit by tea candles and fairy lights giving a wonderful ambiance enhanced by the old time style furniture and decor. The draft selection was second to none including the one and only hawkstone a personal favourite! There was an option for Indoor or outdoor bench seating at the front of the establishment which on a sunny day was a nice touch. We was served and welcomed by a knowledgeable lovely member of staff named Jess. We have simply fell in love with the place and will be making efforts to return regularly! Huge recommendation to visit! Jess your a credit to the establishment

What an amazing day yesterday, garden was beautifully set out, live music was amazing , food was fab , such a great atmosphere and service from everyone who worked there. Would highly recommend the pub to anyone . ❤️

Fantastic place to stay, superb staff, service and hospitality. An excellent venue and would suit any wedding perfectly.
