Me and my friend came in on Saturday for a spot of lunch we sat down straight away and the guy ( didn’t get his name) but he had tattoos on his arms, looking after us and the tables on restaurant floor was very helpful and recommending dishes on the menu which turn out to be amazing by the way and the coffees we had were fantastic definitely coming back, that guy is a great team member , he goes out his way to make everyone happy

Extremely expensive for a poor belly pork wrap. Very little ingredients inside the wrap. We waited an hour for this street food and had a parking ticket to top it off as well over an hour to wait.

If I'm ever in Leamington this is where I'm going! The falafel is to die for. It's dog-friendly so I can bring my pup and the food, service, coffee and pastries are all top notch.

Such a disappointing experience. I visited Warwick Street Kitchen with family members up from London and we were all happy to find a roomy table with space to the side for the pushchair, it was lunchtime and the cafe’ was quite empty. Orders were placed after having to wait longer than expected for someone to attend our table. The order consisted of a waffle with maple syrup and ricotta cheese, presentation was sloppy with a teaspoon of something indiscernible which we gathered was the ricotta cheese on top. The second order was waffle with berry compote, mascarpone cheese and expresso syrup. Again, very sloppy presentation and what appeared to be coffee powder rather than syrup sprinkled on the pancake. The third order was a taco type shell with a bean filling, again sloppily presented but I am told it tasted okay. In hindsight I wish I had taken photos of the food which I could have posted alongside this review. Also with a toddler and baby our window of opportunity to sit and have lunch in peace is small, hence the reason for not complaining to staff at the time. WSK prices do not reflect the quality of food delivered, we, as a family are more than happy to pay for quality and will not be visiting WSK again. On leaving we noted several other eateries on the same street packed with customers enjoying delicious looking food, no wonder it was easy for us all to get seated at WSK.

There's a lot of choice for coffee in Leamington but for me the best coffee is at WSK. I've been coming here for years and am always given a warm welcome. I popped in yesterday and treated myself to a chai latte with Almond Milk, that was a first and it was flipping delish and then I thought I would push the boat as, as my teenagers were still asleep and have avocados on toast with oyster mushrooms in place of an egg. I enjoyed every mouthful and thought it was so delectable that I asked how the mushrooms had been cooked and the very friendly and helpful team gave me the recipe as I left! Why would I go anywhere else when these guys are on my doorstep! 😄❤️

unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming right from the start, which set a negative tone till the end. The waiter who served us was quite rude and unprofessional, adding to the discomfort. On top of that, several menu items were unavailable, which was frustrating. When we finally received coffees, I was served a cup with a noticeable lipstick stain, which was off-putting. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, we were offered a vague explanation and offered an alternative drink. Even more concerning was the complete lack of management presence to resolve this situation. Despite these negatives, I must admit the food was excellent—delicious and beautifully presented. Although the shakshuka should have a toast or bread on the side. It's a shame that such good cuisine is overshadowed by poor service and an unpleasant dining atmosphere. Overall I don’t recommend it.

having read the reviwes this was not the best experience for us on this occasion - food was good a nice vibe to the place people working couples chatting, however despite their efforts the service was lacking and the food was slow, after 25 mins from ordering avo toast we were told there was "an issue" with the gluten free bread and it would be another 15 mins - perhaps they were ensuring no cross contamination but thats all we were told. I also think this place was overpriced, but perhaps this is normal for Lemington Spa - not in a rush to visit again.

Ww waited ten minutes before anyone came to take our order! When we were eventually served, we ordered toast for two, a cappuccino and an expresso. The coffees arrived, with the expresso almost cold. Despite waiting another ten minutes the toast never arrived. Whilst waiting we we also bothered by several flies, who were attracted by the crumbs left on the dirty table adjacent to ours. Eventually we left and refused to pay as we had not received the service we expected. We would not recommend this cafe.

Went here for brunch with friends while we were visiting them. They recommended the place as they go regularly. But this time we were quite disappointed. The food was tasty but 3 of us had the waffles and for the price were very small. The waffles are very thin and quite small for £9. We added bacon which was an extra. They tasted very good but just didn't feel right for the price since with the bacon was about £14. Considering they offer a piece of sourdough toast and an extra for less than £10 and the pancakes portion was similar to their toast seems odd pricing. Our friends said all other times they have gone they felt it was reasonable but bit of a shame I probably wouldn't jump at going back there when we next visit.

I've visited Warwick Street Kitchen many times and it's one of my favourite local cafés and eateries. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. On this visit I had a decaf iced latte and the chorizo tostada with a side of hash browns. The decaf iced latte was pleasant though given the size of the glass it was served it, it seemed like there was much more ice than there was coffee. In future I'd probably just get a hot latte instead. The chorizo tostada was lovely for the most part but fell victim to one of my culinary pet peeves. It was topped with a big heap of pink pickled onions. I've been seeing this trend a lot recently where otherwise wonderful dishes are ruined by a mound of these picked onion slices are dumped on top of the dish. I think in small amounts in the right dishes they can add a lovely touch of sweetness and acidity but sadly in this case it was completely overwhelming. With my first mouthful, the only thing I could taste was pickled onions. I ended up picking off all the onions and scooting them to the side of the plate and the dish became much more pleasant. The chorizo was generous but cut into large semi-circles that were a bit tough to cut through given the bluntness of the knife provided. I think I would have preferred it to be cut into smaller bite sized pieces to better distribute through the dish. The hash browns were beautifully crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside, however, they were slightly overseasoned.

I will always give a place a 2nd chance , but never a third .awful service and especially an awful attitude from the make barista at the Warwick branch of Warwick street kitchen , coffee did not arrive with my breakfast , chased it up twice with the barista, tried to slow down my breakfast until it was cold waiting for the coffees , They arrived after our food plates were removed . I refused to pay for my second coffee and I was given an attitude response of " well you should have sent them back them " the food was great , the coffee was great , the attitude and customer service was truly awful . customer service , customer happiness is key to any good business . We went there to have a nice little Saturday breakfast. However it was sort of a disappointment. When we got seated, we were not told how long we had to wait. We waited longer than 30 mins and when we got served, still our order was not complete. The girls behind the coffee area were way more helpful than the guy who was serving us. Whatever we asked for, we had to wait for a long time. Also he was rude and people who came after us got served before we did interestingly. I don’t think I will ever go back there. My husband and I made a special visit to the Leam, Warwick Street Kitchen for coffee and cake because of the reviews we have read. (17 Feb) We arrived at around 1:45pm and the place was heaving. I really can't understand why the reviews are so high. We eat out regularly in Leam and Warwick, and there are far better places to eat. The Americano coffee was weak. I've had far better coffee just doors away from WSK. The ONLY vegan cake option my husband was offered, was a brownie. (Ginger or coconut) The ginger brownie portion was small, very small and at £4.00 was nothing special. I had a croissant, because there were no other cakes available. It was okay but considering WSK state that they bake everything in house, it tasted no different to an M&S bakery croissant. They couldn't provide a dairy free spread, such as Flora (I'm not vegan but not totally keen on butter) so, I had to accept butter or nothing. It also came with a small ramekin of jam, which I presume was not home made. £1.00 was added to the bill for this small amount of jam. I was never informed prior that there was a charge for the jam. So, for 2 regularly Americanos, 1 Brownie and 1 croissant, totalled £14.90. The service was also poor, despite having 4 staff on. I accept it was busy, but there is no excuse for poor service! The server could see we were a couple, yet only came with one set of cutlery which my husband was using. I didn't want to wait any longer for a server, so I got up and got my own cutlery from the counter. Interestingly, a lady on the next table also complained about her food! TWICE! In the end she left, leaving half of her food on the plate. We'll not be returning to WSK as there are far better places in Leam and Warwick for having a lunchtime coffee and cake, furthermore places who are far better equipped for offerering vegan cakes.

Went to the ever-popular Warwick Street Kitchen (WSK) today with my husband. I had an Americano and a Ginger Brownie, he had an Americano and a Croissant. Free tap water came with the order, unexpectedly. Firstly, the glasses given were dated, there were scrapes and lime deposits on them. We had to check if they were clean. The Americano was very weak, I had expected a great-tasting coffee, but it was very bland. My Brownie was fine, pretty average. It was, however, very small and cost £4! For the price, I had expected a larger portion. The Croissant was late to our table, and they did not provide cutlery. Although it came with butter and a tiny serving of jam, my husband had to find cutlery himself. He described the jam as lacking taste. We were really annoyed when the bill came; they charged £1 for the tiny serving of jam! The Croissant was no better than one obtained at a supermarket. On the table next to us, another customer hated their meal (Avocado on toast), sending it back twice before giving up and leaving. I really wanted to enjoy our time at WSK. It is always heaving, so we expected something special. Clearly, we are missing the appeal, or they had a bad day.

We enjoyed a really gorgeous brunch here. We were made to feel very welcome, and despite the place being very busy our order was taken promptly and the food followed not long after. All our dishes were fresh and delicious, and we liked the slightly unusual twists to the usual brunch offerings. It’s not cheap, but it’s definitely good quality. My only slight criticism is that we ordered some bacon and halloumi as two separate extras but they were brought on the same plate. As a vegetarian I didn’t particularly want my halloumi sitting in smoked bacon juice. Other than that it was wonderful and we’d definitely go again.

Only went in with the intention of having a brunch-time pastry, but the gnocchi on the menu was too tempting. It was heavenly - the gnocchi were beautifully home-made and crisply pan-fried, with a delicious leek & sunflower seed chunky pesto & sautéed oyster mushrooms. Wonderful dish! And the mocha & crisp pecan pastry were perfect. We were lucky to get a table, as there was a queue outside for most of the time we were there & so there should be, given the quality! We’ll be back!

I never leave a bad review but had an odd experience here, I ordered an iced coffee. They brought me a lukewarm coffee, I asked politely for an extra ice cube to put in, they said 'oh our ice machine isn't working - would you like some cold water' (?) left the coffee while I ate and asked politely for a hot coffee instead at the end. (Not asking for a refund even though I'd paid extra for it to be 'iced'.) The waitress then told me off for not saying something straight away (I did?) I was a bit taken aback. They did eventually offer me another coffee but I felt bad - if they'd told me the ice machine wasn't working at the start I'd have had a hot one instead. Also shakshuka should come with toast as standard please :) £16 is a lot for an uncomfortable breakfast experience :(

First time eating here for breakfast as it was the closest to where we parked. We found a table and were seen to very quickly. The menu is short and simple, but with variety for everyone. We both had the avocado toast with hash browns on the side and two flat whites. The flat whites came quickly and were perfect - just the right strength and a good temperature (which is unfortunately quite rare nowadays). Now. The food. My partner and I do eat out a lot, but we are no food critics. The hash browns were crunchy and the chutney on top was a great touch. The avocado was perfectly seasoned with harissa rose. These worked very well, a perfect amount of spice to compliment the poached eggs (runny and golden). This was all served with sourdough toast. Me personally, i could have had seconds (and thirds, and fourths). Now, if you're sat at the front of the shop you're going to be teased by all the pastries. So inevitably we ended up getting some sourdough bread, chocolate twists and brownies. The brownies didn't make it home, the bread was perfectly baked, and the chocolate twists were demolished the day after. Overall, this place was a random find and we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the prices are high and probably on the expensive side. However, given the rates of inflation, the price points are very fair. The food was of excellent standard, well made and well presented. We will definitely be coming back.

This used to be most certainly a 5* place... We used to come really regularly, and always enjoyed the delicious food and coffee, and nice atmosphere. We haven't been much in the last year or so, and on a recent return, were quite disappointed to discover a substantial reduction in portion size. Don't get me wrong, it is still delicious.. but while the prices have remained the same (relatively pricey, but never minded before as it's always very good quality), the portions are now rather small... We enjoyed our food, but left still feeling a bit hungry (and reluctant to just order extras as the previously 'a-bit-on-the-pricey-side' prices are now just plain expensive given the portion size. So rating at 4* now instead of 5*. (Can't put it at a 3* as the quality is still very good... But I can't see us being so keen to return, which is a shame) Cost of living etc claiming another victim?

Lovely choice of breakfast items- not your usual breakfast choice! Lovely staff. Clean area and open kitchen so you could see food being cooked. Coffee was fab as well!!

Stunning breakfast the best I've ever had! The avocado was packed with flavour, perfectly seasoned zingy and fresh. The sourdough toast was honestly the best I've ever eaten and I felt compelled to buy the last 2 for home 👌 really great experience!

Disappointing customer service from lady with half shaved head, ponytail, 20+ min wait for take away coffee, understandably busy on Saturday, sharp response received when politely ask how much longer, possibly advise customers there’s a long waiting time before they order, such a shame really liked it here.

I come to WSK quite a bit but sadly the last two occasions have not been great to the point where I won’t spend my money there again. Previous occasion I wanted the sausage sandwich on gluten free bread but they wouldn’t do it as the sausage contained gluten (which as it’s only a sensitivity I have it’s fine and they had done this before). However, they refused to do this - not accommodating for something that was easy to do ?! Just doesn’t make any sense! And this time I had a side of bacon which was all fat with just a tiny sliver of meat on the outside edge- said that the food was nice but bacon was just fat and not what I had expected having had their bacon before. Male manager came over to explain that that is how it is sometimes but when we said but it’s just literally fat though he got very defensive and rude unnecessarily and that he was going to take it off the bill on this occasion. We were calm in our feedback and weren’t making a big issue out of it, but his response left us feeling very disappointed and id now rather spend my money else where. Shame!!

Not welcoming, the food took a while to arrive, our toddler wanted to get down and play but there are so many tables that she was deemed to be in the way.the waitress made us feel very uncomfortable. We had to leave, but paid 40 quid for a burger I ate on a park bench. Overpriced and unfriendly.

My first trip to Leamington Spa and found this fabulous spot for brunch, great menu and even better coffee! Industrial vibe, staff very accommodating. Freshly baked goods nicely presented which were hard to resist!

There are a few key ingredients to running a truly wonderful cafe. Rule 1: Drop the pretentious BS Rule 2: Keep the menu short with an emphasis on brilliant quality. Rule 3: Friendliness costs nothing but makes all the difference; deliver it in abundance. Rule 4: DO NOT copy your competition; it's a painful race to the bottom. Warwick Street Kitchen absolutely smashed the rules!! Such a great, great place!!! French Toast to absolutely die for!

Just eaten in and ordered a focaccia sandwich which was dry and stale. Told this to the waiter and he said it was only made the day before. It was inedible so I left it, they still charged me for it. Bad customer service, will not be eating there again.

Absolutely delicious food, and coffee wouldn't hesitate to go again. Only knocked a star off due to a bit of a cramped layout and uncomfortable chairs. If your in the area and looking for a light lunch definitely give it a go.

Although tables suitable for a group of five were available at the time of our arrival, the manager displayed an utter lack of any and all flexibility in accommodating us. Instead we were left waiting outside for more than 30 minutes while waiting for a particular table to get free. The irony was that the only alternative they offered (after a lot of pushing) was a table by the door for 4 people which though they were willing to fit 5 people.... Overall nonsensically inflexible and borderline rude. No point coming back when there is a plethora of excellent alternatives. EDIT 20/03/2023: Could not find the way to respond to the owner so I am inserting the response here. I am sorry to say that I was not offered the "only" table available. I am attaching a screenshot with the aforementioned table. I would love further explanation how the table in question (the one in the far back wall with the bench) blocks the toilets or puts safety in jeopardy. The abrupt refusal with which, at that busy time, we were made waiting for no apparent reason is what caused me to write this review. The explicit statement "we reserve these tables for two groups of people rather than one" is what caused me to jokingly suggest "what if we come-in in two groups and sit down...". To try and diminish a review by belittling the reviewer on the grounds of rudeness in support of a nonsensical decision simply displays an utter lack of willingness to comprehend 1) the issue 2) the situation 3) a path to resolution

Visited Sunday morning for breakfast as we'd walked passed the night before and thought it looked cool. Trendy minimalist decor with friendly staff and cracking food.........and cakes 🎂 🍥 👌 Only negative is that I thought the portion size was small for the price charged. Quite a few additions ordered to bulk it out. I can however, say that the food was AMAZING!!!!!

After booking the back function room for a Wedding for 2 days (the wedding day and the day before to 'set up') with less than 2 weeks notice we found out that they had double booked and cancelled on us. Has Nick the Landlord any idea what kind of stress that is going to have on any couples memorable day!? Have you any idea how hard it is with such short notice to find anything at all available. Most venues being booked up for at least a year! Thanks Nick, nice one. This was in July this year and moreover the only reason we discovered this total f**k up is because we phoned to check on the arrangements!

We popped in here quickly for a late lunch, & very glad we did the food was very nice. We were so full after our main course we picked up a cake to take away for later, which was also yummy. Definitely somewhere to visit.
